The chocolate was rich, more like milk chocolate not dark chocolate. It's suggested to not refrigerator the cake and I did not. My mom and friends loved the cake but one thought it was dry. It is an honest to goodness real dense cake, which means not filled with air to me. I will consider them for future cakes.
