Had a problem where they suspected damage years ago and they had to check the storage unit…read more.. Didn't get much info but apparently it was ok? We came in and everything was fine but we should have been notified immediately. This year the price has gone up closer to almost another extra 25-30 dollars if I recall and that's a pretty big hike considering it was like 50. Also considering the fact we were *NOT* notified despite them assuring us they sent word out (only after the fact when called) so I'm not sure if that was sheer laziness by not checking all the boxes or if they were just trying to pull the wool over our eyes. We literally only found out upon paying it after the new year. No mail, texts, or anything. We're thinking about cleaning it out and bringing things home because moving everything somewhere else or finding someone to do that would be too much of a hassle as I'm very disabled and can barely get out of the house. Can't fault them for this but not a very good situation to be in and I still hold a lot of grief regarding my father and another relative's deaths which is what forced us to get a storage unit in the first place because of my father's sister locking us out when I was still basically a kid. She took the house and lives literally right down the street from where we ended up having to put our stuff. I feel bad for the staff because just judging by the way they worded things and their tone of voice when asked about the increase ('it's the owner') he sounds like a piece of work

In both cases they came promptly and were friendly. The bad: The storage lockers are open only from 7AM to 7PM, seven days a week. The elevator has both an inside door and an outside door, both on ground level and on the second floor. If all four doors are not closed and latched, the elevator gets stuck and you have to call maintenance. You have to climb a flight of 17 stairs to get to the second floor because you can't ride in the elevator.

Besides offering the best prices in the area, the service and facilities are outstanding. These folks are not connected with a large nation-wide commercial chain. This allows a level of flexibility and creativity not possible with huge self-storage chains. The owners and staff are local people serving the local community. Still, at any given time they will be meeting exceeding the self-storage needs of international visitors to Newport. Even a relatively small customer is treated with the highest degree of respect. It's location in the center of Newport provides convenience far exceeding that of the other facilities. I have no complaints. I endorse and suggest you check them out when looking for self-storage services in Newport County (RI).

I'm re posting this from the Attleboro Police Department Facebook page:…read more On the bitterly cold evening of 12/28, the APD received a call for assistance from the manager of a local trailer park on behalf of an elderly resident there. The resident was without heat, as a result of an issue with his oil burner. He had attempted to contact his oil company for emergency service, but was unable to get through to them. The resident tried to get other companies to come out, but because he wasn't a current customer, they would not service the burner. Sergeant Steve Beaudet of the APD POP Unit, and Melissa Tucker of the City of Attleboro Council on Aging went into action to assist the gentleman. They contacted Attleboro-based Dal-Trac Oil, who immediately responded by dispatching an oil truck to the gentleman in needs's residence. In short order, the driver was able to diagnose and fix the problem with the gentleman's burner, ensuring that his home would have adequate heat. All this, regardless of the gentleman not having been a customer. We would like to extend our utmost thanks and gratitude to Dal-Trac Oil for their prompt response and their assistance in providing for the needs of members of our community. This is a remarkable example of serving and protecting, and speaks volumes for the effectiveness of utilizing community partnerships to provide service in times of need.
