Got charge for a storage I never knew about, and the manager and workers knew it but instead of…read morestopping the transaction told me I needed to find out who did it and get it from them..I called the police and uhaul center as I'm doing that manager walks out and said we can print a paper out for you to sign to get a refund in 3-5 day.but our power is off right now I'll call you tomorrow to come by..the whole time uhaul is on the phone and hears this and tell me to call back if I need to..we 3 days went by no call so I call them, she answer and said I'll call you back, which she did saying they decided to refund me that day she all the info she needed,,5 hours went by no refund I call I was told she left and would be back, I called uhaul center back the called her and got told the same thing which they went ahead and open a case for me..I called Newport back to see if she was back, all of sudden she was and told me now that I did that she paid through them, and said I should have waited for her to get back from the bank,,‍..pay me cash for something you took off my card..she wouldn't even open the storage for me or cop..if you charge me for it why couldn't I open it? Why couldn't she open to see if it was used? Why was the power off in a uhaul storage? 7 days still no refund from a place I didn't even know was here.. P.s. she just got fired from another storage facility before you hired, guess for what...?

The new place is really well lit, and has lots of cameras. 2.) prime had a gate that is clearly not secure and open. I think that is something they need to fix asap. There was a young girl with dark hair, that we told about it and after being there daily for 7 days to empty the unit the gate is still open.

Everything that follows is my honest and whole-hearten opinion; be prepared. I have moved many times, and have had BAD moving experiences. This was not one of them. Thank you Jones. I was moving from my 3rd floor walk-up in Attleboro, MA to a duplex in North Kingstown, RI. Also, it was a blissful 90 something degrees outside with the temperature rising to about 100 in my stuffy oven of a loft. Despite the weather, the three men did a great job of swiftly moving all my things (and stress) down the VERY tight and winding stairwell. I was given an estimate when I first arranged the move about a month earlier, and it ended up costing less than expected since they worked so diligently. A full round of applause for Devin, Jerry, and John. Devin also called ahead of time to let me know they were getting the truck ready, so, I should be expecting their arrival. Which, yes, they arrived on time. When all moved in, I did noticed tiny little scuffs on a couple things, but they came off easily or were on items I planned to replace anyhow. The company was recommended to me by my Father and Brother who both used them for a move and were impressed. I have not used them for storage, so I have nothing to comment for. *Tip for movers - Yes, this is considered hard labor, but they are still people. Don't treat the movers like trash and expect an amazing job. I prepared for the move and packed the majority of my things. Also, with the heat as such, I had lots of fresh water and towels ready. Oh, and here is a silly concept....helping. Unless you are actually disabled and truly UNABLE to help, don't sit around like a tool watching them. That is all.
