We were lucky to find them open. They were cooking up delivery pizza, and they welcomed us inside, we were the only guests. The owner was kind, I ordered an amaro, we were told the menu was limited to pizza, that day. Well, we'd heard a thing or two about the Italian's pizza expertise, so we went for it, our first -- and one of the most memorable -- pizza sessions of our stay, on or off the mainland. This is just my take, but seems to me most Italian restaurants get the whole Napolitan recipe right. The secret to marvelous pie is forking into the whole thing as soon as it comes outta the oven, like, as close to burn-your-tongue as possible. We were a party of 54 people and enjoyed so many delicious foods from Sardines, Calamari, Eggplant, Tomato Salad, Pastas, Chicken, Swordfish... I can't even remember them all. Each dish more delicious than the last. We also enjoyed a glass of Prosecco to start with and each table had the house red and white wine for everyone. The atmosphere: Everything you could ever want from a beach town restaurant in Italy. The food: Amazing! The service: Fantastic. I've had the zucchini spaghetti (which I'm still trying to recreate at home), spaghetti with mussels and the pasta pescatore. Everything was so fresh and wonderful. I love the slow natured pace of the restaurant, so if you are trying to pop in for a quick bite, it might not be the best option. I also really loved the fact that they use dinnerware hand painted on the island. Go here, you won't be disappointed!
