BEST EXPERIENCE EVER! This is going to be lengthy, but it is worth it. The customer service I experienced was beyond amazing, and the flowers were gorgeous. My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary. She never asks for anything, but this time she specifically asked for flowers. Being the money conscious (cheap) person that I am, I ordered something online that looked great. When they were delivered to my wife's work, she texted me a picture of her with the flowers. She tried to look happy, but the picture told the truth. The flowers I had sent looked AWFUL!! I decided to look for a local flower shop and found Tatum Flowers. Their reviews were great and I figured I would give them a shot. When I arrived, someone greeted me immediately and asked how she could help. I told her that I was looking for an arrangement. She said that she was finishing an order for a funeral, but she would be right with me. She then had an associate assist me. The associate asked for my budget and showed me some pre-made arrangements. They were a little more than my price range, but they were gorgeous. Plus, I was willing to pay a little more to make up for my mistake. When it came time to pay, I realized that I had left my wallet at home. I asked if they could hold onto the arrangement until I got back, and they said sure. When I returned, the associate rang up my order, and it was less than I expected. The manager or owner (I'm not sure which) who had been working on the funeral arrangement came up and said that she had freshened up my arrangement and had taken $15 off the order as well. I'm guessing that the associate had told her that I was spending a little more than I had budgeted, and she helped me out. Either way, this was some of the best customer service I have ever experienced, and the flowers were absolutely gorgeous. Been meaning to dust off the Yelp pen. Sitting at the Starbucks across the parking lot from Tatum Flowers I remember having a good experience there and I should tell Yelpers so. I strolled in around 6:00 pm, on Valentine's Day, on my way to dinner with my lady. Way to procrastinate, me. I asked if they had flowers left and the lady who helped me out laughed and said, 'Yes. What would I like?" "Like"? I don't know. I'm a dude. Not a meathead but a dude, nonetheless. Flowers are not something I get. I said, "I have no idea. Can you just throw something together for me?" She obliged and the bouquet she put together was beautiful. I didn't know it then. They're just flowers to me. My girlfriend was floored, however. My girl's Bday is on 2/22. I needed flowers delivered to her work so she could show off if she wanted to. According to my sources, this was highly important in terms of me not "screw[ing] it up big time, Tom." My mom was very clear on this point. Anyways I find Tatum Flowers on Yelp naturally cuz its well rated and it said they deliver throughout the valley from the little shaded area on the baby-sized map on their yelp page. I need them to get to Glendale, tomorrow, by noon. I go to their website and submit an order for some lilies and roses that looks sick and is sure to get a good reaction. I write a nice note for the card. Done and done, bill's in the mail, doghouse avoided. I got a missed-call minutes later from Lisa at Tatum Flowers, who left a voicemail explaining that they do not deliver to the specified Zip code. She also expressed her hope that I could find another flower place in time for Bday, which as far as she knew was tomorrow (its actually 2/22 but whatev.) No worries. After I check the VM I book new flowers elsewhere and boom I'm good to go. I don't return the call because I figure Lisa was just doing the basic follow-up. She sends a follow-up email, reiterating her apologies and her hope that I can find a replacement in time, specifically stating that I will not be billed for her order and that there is nothing more I need to do to cancel, in case I hadn't heard her VM. I am very pleased with the product and service from Tatum Flowers. I will definitely use them again when sending flowers in Phoenix. Additional notes: I chose one of Tatum Flowers' original designs, rather than an FTD arrangement. It is really pretty and very fairly priced, in my opinion.
