After my original Yelp and Google reviews, Ashley contacted me to discuss everything that had happened. She invited me back to see a different doctor for a completely new eye exam. Whether or not she fully understood my experience, I truly appreciated that she took the time to listen and reach out. Today I had my appointment with Dr. Wynn, and all I can say is she was incredible. She gave me the most thorough eye exam I have ever had. She took the time to discuss my previous experience, listened carefully to my concerns, and never made me feel rushed. She actually built different lens combinations in the office for me to try, had me walk around, sit at a desk, read a computer screen, and read printed paperwork to make sure my prescription worked in real-life situations--not just in the exam chair. I was genuinely amazed by her level of care and attention to detail. After my exam, Ashley took care of reordering all three pairs of my glasses. Although I'll have to wait another couple of weeks for them to arrive, I finally feel optimistic that I'll be able to see comfortably. My original experience was extremely frustrating, and I stand by the concerns I had. However, I also believe great customer service is about how a company responds when something goes wrong. Ashley and Dr. Wynn took my concerns seriously, treated me with kindness and respect, and worked hard to make things right. I'm hopeful these new glasses will finally solve the problem, and I truly appreciate the effort they made.

In fact I did not see any generic eyewear so it was unclear if they carried this or not. Eyewear was well labeled and organized. at one point, LensCrafters use to offer 1 hour service to assemble your prescription. Apparently there is no local lab offered here so it does take longer now. 2-3 days for regular eyewear and up to a week for specialty lenses. Shared parking lot.

I stopped into the store at 32nd St and Greenway, aware that they received low ratings from customers. Not knowing what to expect, I was more than pleasantly surprised at how each employee was very friendly and accomodating. Starting with Alma, who greeted me, and explained their sales. While looking at frame, the manager; Sherri, approached me and asked if I had any questions, which I did. Sherri took her time with me too and was very helpful. I found a pair of frames I love, and Sherri got me right in with the Optometrist; Dr Otomo, who was very thorough and friendly. With a designer frame and a on-line bifocal Rx, I know I paid about half of what I would have paid most other places. I'll be back to Nationwide Vision on Greenway.

During a recent visit, he recommended updating my husband's glasses, and we were referred to Dr. Jayme Windsor. After receiving the new prescription, we paid $484 (with insurance) for glasses that turned out to be unusable. My husband cannot see clearly with them and actually sees much better with his old glasses. At the follow-up appointment, we explained the issue but were told, "this is the best we can do." No meaningful solution was offered, and we were later given the same prescription as the old glasses. We were also informed that no refund is possible. As retirees on a fixed income, this is a significant loss for us. The only positive part of this experience was Alicia in the optical department, who truly tried to help and was very professional. Sadly, due to how this was handled, we cannot recommend this location
