I've been coming here for 5+ years as a buyer and a seller! Ive never had a bad experience but felt compelled to finally write a review about my trip today! I had some stuff lying around I've been meaning to sell online but honestly it's not worth the hassle when tattered is right down the block. I brought in my clothes they meticulously went over my goods and brought to my attention why they didn't take my leftover garments in a professional manner. I get it they appeal to a younger demographic so them not wanting my old outdated shirts and skinny jeans makes sense, guess I need to get with the times they then gently folded my left over clothes and packed them neatly in my bag, I got a sweet little pay out and ended up buying some shirts while I was there! super sweet staff, & super knowledgeable if you ask them for help! I asked one of the girls working there for styling tips and they took the time to ensure that I was confident with the look of the shirts before committing to a purchase! Which is why I decided to write this review I felt comfortable & safe the entire time. tattered is one of the last hidden gems in LB for anyone looking for current trends and garments at a solid price. read more

If i could leave 0 stars i would fuck this place. i brought in 2 pairs of nike blazers, 1 pair only been worn once, 2nd pair only worn maybe 5 times both looked pretty decent & in good condition they said they couldn't take them cause of a little wear n tear???? isn't this place a thrift store???? nothing in there is brand new everything in there has a little wear n tear & quite frankly i think my nikes looked better than some items they have in the store. i also brought in a pair of NEVER WORN brown chunky heels, super cute just don't fit me and they said they couldn't take those either for god knows why. if the girls that are working in the front don't like what you bring in they won't take it. don't bother taking your things there read more

I think since I've dealt with designer resell so much I understand this lane of hustle. I like that I come in and there is no line, I can just leave my bag, walk around, they buy what they need from me, and I'm gone. One time, they had an Authentic Louis Vuitton Mini Backpack for sale, good condition and good price, around $1,400 and usually they resell for $2100. So with that being said, I like tattered. It's tough to pay that rent in that area as well, she's been open for a while so props to her! read more

Customer service is terrible. I went in with my girlfriend to look for vintage clothing and was rudely approached by a woman who worked at tattered. They claimed to have a problem with how I was dressed (hoodie and pants, because of the rain today) and did so in a graceless manner. Not to mention that their selection wasn't all that good, but I digress. As a business owner myself, I know that it is difficult to keep all customers satisfied. But, when your workers are as poorly trained as tattered, it really hurts the business. I wish I could've had a better experience, but that is not the case. DO BETTER! read more

This is the best thrift in LB bar none. Tons of new and used goods, I always walk out with a smile. I've been shopping there since the the two woman owners opened, I read some of the bad reviews and basically they add up to sellers unhappy because they didn't cash in big bucks on used stuff and over sensitive people hating- when you look at the place at face value it genuinely has the best quality items in a used apparel shop. I pulled an $800 jacket out of there for less than $100 ..... I bought New adidas for 50 and new awesome vans for 35. read more
