We got two tiramisus, one vanilla custard lobster tail, some mini cannolis, & the wedding cookies. Everything came out to about $50 so beware, prices aren't exactly cheap. But for one, if you're going to do "bad" then do it right & we also shared with our family of 5 so plenty to go around. & Holy cow, everything was incredible. So indulgent, decadent & rich in flavor. My nephews liked the cannolis, personally they're not my favorite, but if you're into it the mini's are a great option to quench the craving. The lobster tail with the vanilla custard took me by surprise. I didn't think I was going to care for it, but the cold custard was refreshing & the flakiness of the bread was crazy, my taster buds were confused by the textures, but in the best way. They complemented each other well. My ultimate favorite was the tiramisu & the wedding cookies. I honestly wish I had gotten more of the wedding cookies, those things took me back. I grew up eating the Mexican ones & the Italians did it right *applause* But damn, the tiramisu was to die for. I would order that again & again. Perfectly chilled, the dusting of the cocoa powder didn't taste like nesquik--incredible. At first the price had me thinking if we were doing too much, like damn, should we have just gone to Sprouts bakery? But after being able to indulge in a great quality dessert, it was worth every dollar. My only feedback, careful when you're paying at the register. If you're not paying attention, the tip automatically defaults to 18% on the tablet. Only thing I didn't care for. I could see if I was eating at the restaurant, but I just popped in to take pastries to go. So, that was kind of annoying. The service was fine, the girl that helped me was nice, but again I just pointed at desserts I wanted & went home. The location is part of the main restaurant, but it has its own entrance & little room making it feel separate to the Sicilian Butcher. They also carry gelato which I haven't tried yet. I believe they have little tables to sit at also. Highly recommend checking this out so save room for dessert!

When I explained to Michelle (the owner) what I needed and showed her a picture of what I wanted to have made, she said she would do a little research and see if she would be able to make the orange blossom flowers to put on my cake pops. She got back to me with in an hour or so and had a plan for making them. She was even able to have them made for me within the timeline I needed. Michelle's communication with me was exceptional and I always felt like she sincerely wanted to help me and provide me with a beautiful product. And they were truly beautiful, delicate little flowers and leaves. They were just what I needed to make my little "cuties" cake pops look adorable. Ordered a cherry-covered cheesecake for the birthday girl. I don't know if the person serving us was being funny - or thought she was -- but instead of 24 cookies, we only got 19, which filled the very small box and broke almost 1/3rd of them. Instead of the cherry danish, we got a cream cheese danish; the cheesecake was nowhere to be found; the chocolate eclair was also missing. We came back into the store and the person who served us was nowhere to be seen, so we re-ordered the eclair, cheesecake, and cherry danish. The cream cheese danish was disappointing: it was cooked with bready-dough, and the cream cheese filling tasted like it came from a can. The best bakeries usually use a laminated dough so that the danish comes out crispy and buttery. Many of the best bakeries use a homemade filling so that the fruit is at its peak of flavor. We didn't know about the cookies, which we'd kept sealed in a cold bag to prevent the chocolate from melting in the 100° heat, and to keep the cookies from being crushed. It wasn't until we got to the fire department that we learned that the cookies were jammed into the tiny box so crowded that they broke as more were added, and that we only got 19 instead of 24. I don't know why was wrong with the young woman who took our order. Maybe she was in a mood, or stoned. I don't know. We were pleasant and we had a moment's exchange (between my friend and I) about what to get for the birthday girl... maybe we strained her patience to the breaking point with a discussion of 3-4 seconds. I don't understand how the items we originally ordered were missed, because we pointed to the pastries we wanted by touching the display case at each tray we selected for our choices. I'd hate to think that she treats others that way, or that she had in mind to treat us poorly. Too bad, because the pastries and cakes looked delicious, but we're left with the choice of not going back, or having our order filled by someone who doesn't fill our orders properly.
