I have been here about a dozen times for their breakfast burritos, it is close to the house, they are good, however; I think they are a little over priced. I usually get a bacon breakfast burrito with green chili on the inside. Here it costs about $5.50 after tax. Most places in SE Aurora would charge right around $4 for the same thing. They charge extra for the chili on the inside. C'mon, let's keep it real, who would want a breakfast burrito with no chili on the inside? Not many people! I made that mistake the fist time that I came here. All in all, tasty burrito, a little over priced, but I keep coming back for some reason You have to give them a shot. Green chili / smothering sauce 1000000000/10 carne asada fries 10/10 this place been a favorite of mine since 2015 and maybe before then. my mom and I were regulars here before we moved to Texas Their customer service is trash . They would rather argue with me over the order that they had messed up that simply correct the mistake that was made . The guy at the window caught an attitude when he gave me an unsmothered burrito after I specifically asked for a smothered burrito and then charged me again for the extra sauce that was already supposed to be on the burrito. This new management or whatever they have going on is horrible and I'm not a fan. read more

This place is nothing fancy but the food is great! I was stationed in San Diego for several years and became very fond of SoCal style Mexican food. I'm a fan of the California burrito and this place serves one but named the "Colorado" burrito. This place doesn't match the same quality I'm used to getting in San Diego it comes close enough to satisfy the craving. So if you love SoCal Mexican food and not the usual Tex-Mex or smothered green chili then you might want to check this place out. The place isn't going to blow you away with it's decor, and it's certainly not going to have any curb appeal, but honestly I believe that it is the sign of any legitimate, authentic Mexican Food restaurant. Breakfast Burritos are legit, their tortillas actually taste like they're suppose to taste, and the filling of meat (if you choose), potatoes and eggs is great. They have some of the best Red Salsa out there and it's Pico is great as well. Definitely worth a shot or two if you're in or around the area. read more

I have been going to this spot for breakfast burritos for the past several years. The past few time I have gone their quality of food and attention to detail has dropped drastically. This morning they totally messed up my order. My chili rellano burrito, that was full of nothing but rice, I had order French fries and instead got a side of rice. They slapped everything In the bag which crushed the side of rice that I didn't order and made a huge mess. I get it finding people to work these days is hard but at least try to find people that take some pride in themselves and there work. The quality of their food has also dropped and once again. My daughter and I are at the drive-through. I say, "I'd like to place two orders, please." Barely before I finish, I hear, "NO." It takes me a moment to recover, and I say, "Excuse me? I just want two burritos, and to pay for them each with a different credit card." To which I get, "NO. I'm BUSY." "Okay, later days!" I say and drive off. People in primarily white suburbia have absolutely no idea what good Mexican food is, cause this isn't it. The food is flavorless. We ordered two breakfast burritos, 3 carnitas street tacos, and a pork torta (cannot remember exactly which). The breakfast burritos sizes were good. I was hopeful. We got egg, potato, cheese & bacon. Also got green chili inside. I asked if the green chili was hot (bc I wanted it hot) I was assured it was. I literally couldn't even tell if there was actual green chili in my breakfast burrito, because I couldn't taste it. The whole burrito was just incredibly bland, even after pouring tons of their watery salsas they give you on the side. The carnitas street tacos were dry, which is actually pretty impressive because I didn't think you could even dry out a hugely fatty cut of meat like that. It tasted like it was days old, and had been reheated multiple times. Really? Now to the torta. I'm sure you can guess that this left everything to be desired. I ate 1/4 of it, and threw the rest out Supposedly there was guacamole on there, but i wouldn't have known. Yeah, I won't be back. Went to order tacos was asked if we wanted soft or hard tortillas. We said soft, go home ended up with 11 hard tacos, no cheese and COVERED in guacamole. Also surprised no lime came along with it. Imagine vintage Casa Bonita had a drive-thru. None of the fun, all of the price. Deep-fried sad food. $3.50 for a side of tortilla chips that wouldn't fill a half a bag of tortilla chips bought from the grocery store. I was a devoted customer that went at least once a week. The consistency of the food quality & availability of food items became ridiculous. How do you run out of chips one day at noon then out of pico de gallo by noon on another day? We enjoyed it so much we would try to go earlier in the day to insure food availability...no dice. Speaking of hit or miss, they have some really good, pleasant workers & then they have a couple of male workers that act like you interrupted their day. They obviously don't care about what they do. It will be confirmed when you order a drink with spillage on the side & they just hand it to you. No more of my time will be spent with Tata's! I used to have a Burrito King breakfast burrito habit. When it checked out I saw Tata's move in and while I was completely intrigued by the name choice, hadn't tried it. Then I saw on Yelp that it was the same people running it. So this morning I did my normal breakfast burrito drive thru run and my friendly regular guy was working the window! This review is centered more on the service than the food. The food is great, tastes just like I'm back in Southern CA. I'd make this place my main Mexican food stop but it's the service that has me looking for some place new. Be warned of the person you have to order from whether it's drive through or walk in. It's always the same guy. He constantly interrupts you when you are trying to order, rolls your eyes if you have any questions or want to add an order and frankly makes you feel downright guilty that you even stepped foot into their restaurant. When I talk about awful service that's an under statement. My last three visits have been discouraging to say the least. Today I got two breakfast burritos and they gave me 1 red and 1 green. Before you'd get 1 red and 1 green per burrito. Second when taking my order the cashier has gotten my order wrong twice in the last three visits and I had to clarify at the window. Third the wait time for food has always been tough but worth it now the wait has gotten longer with smaller portions. Long time customer of this place since it was called burrito king. The service on 2 occasions was not good, perhaps Im too critical...I used to be one of those people that monitored customer service reps on their calls to provide feedback and evaluation. The first time it happened I wrote it off as being weather related since there was about an inch of snow on the ground. The second time it was perfect weather and yet it happened again. And now a third time there is an inch of snow on the ground but people are driving all over the place. What is it?
