Absolutely phenomenal. The flavors are divine. I come and get the vegetable ramen with a soft boiled egg, and let me tell you something. LET. ME. TELL. YOU. SOMETHING. The soft boiled egg + red chili oil is absolutely fantastic. If I could afford to eat here everyday for dinner, I absolutely would. The broth is yummy. I am addicted. For $20, you can get the vegetable ramen and edamame. A great deal!
This is my first time at tasty Ramen. Here for a concert at the Krates. I will definitely have to add this to my regular rotation. They have very large portions and great customer service. It is a very laid-back but efficient place with tasty food.
First time coming! You want in and the vibes are so comfy. All the other shops at the Krate area are like small and more of a "get your food and eat outside". Here it was a nice inside seating area. We got the seafood ramen and my sister got chicken. To start, me and my mom aren't mussel lovers when it comes to seafood BUT these mussel's weren't rubbery at all like they usually are. The broth was so good, loved hot you could choose pork or vegetable broth. We got vegetable of course. The shrimp was cooked great and the noodle were nice. Last, the service was great of course. Tasty Ramen is a place to come back to for sure!

My ramen came with chicken, which was cooked perfectly. It was able to marinate along the broth. My egg was very well marinated, I was able to savor the tenderness. It was well presented with a wooden ladle! Service- They usually take my order and they don't really interact with the customer after transaction. Ambiance- It is what you expect out of a small ramen shop. There are cute decorations but it is very small and the music is ok. It is usually empty, I always end up just taking my food outside to enjoy the scenery at the Krates!

How do you know your favorite ramen spot, if you haven't tried them all? I was bummed that they didn't have their beef noodles on the day that I stopped by. However, I did try their most popular, which is their Tonkotsu Ramen. This dish was loaded with pork. The broth did not disappoint and the noodles weren't overcooked. I ate the whole thing! The pork has more of a five spice taste, than the typical charsu pork topping. Corn was also a nice touch. All perfect for a cozy bowl of noodles on cold or rainy days. Fast casual service. Thankfully, ramen was served in a real bowl and not a to-go container.
Brought my daughter in for some ramen on a hot day. The AC was freezing cold, the service was fast and the portions are huge. I highly recommend Tasty Ramen.
I ordered the tonkotsu shoyu ramen for takeout. I like to support local restaurants, and I appreciated the portion size and the generous amount of vegetables. However, the roasted pork was not as soft as I expected, and while the broth was tasty at first, after 4-5 spoonfuls it became too salty for me. The boiled egg was also extremely salty. If you enjoy very salty ramen, you will love this dish, but if you prefer a lighter level of salt, you may want to reconsider ordering this bowl.
Nah, this isn't it. This ramen tasted like cup of noodles / top ramen (orange) packet. Disappointing that all the ramen except for the vegetable were pork broth. The vegetarian ramen broth was extremely salty. Couldn't finish it, tossed it.
Not a place I will visit again for a good quality ramen. The place is nice and clean, but the food is just not the best. I saw a small piece of the condiment wrapper in the soup. So that tells me the broth is prepackaged, something you can easily get from the grocery store. The overall presentation was good, had generous amount of meat, the ramen was also good with right amount of tenderness, but the broth was just too salty in general.
I had been wanting to try this place for days, and what better time than a Saturday night with cold weather to enjoy some ramen? My friends had recommended it to me a while ago, mentioning that the place didn't smell great inside but that their experience wasn't bad. I decided to give it a chance and went. Upon entering, there was no bad smell; everything was organized and clean. The cashier was very attentive to our order and served us kindly. We sat at a table to wait, and in less than 10 minutes, our food was ready, which I consider a big plus. We ordered a Tonkotsu Miso Ramen that comes with pork belly, seasoned egg, cabbage, and mushrooms. It had an excellent flavor; the egg added a delightful touch, and the pork belly was tender and juicy. We also ordered a side of crab rangoon, and they instantly became our favorite; they were fresh and generously filled. I can't wait to come back and try the seafood ramen! :)
The food is so flavorful and satisfying with an abundance of food. Every time I eat here I have so much food that I can save some for later. The flavors are infused through from the broth to the soft tender meat and noodles. The veggies are bright, crisp and fresh. To top it all off is a perfectly soft boiled egg that has absorbed the flavor bath that it sits on. The staff is pleasant and service is always speedy. The ambiance is simple and elegant. A MUST TRY IF VISITING THE KRATE!!!
Little bit on the pricier side but what really isn't at the Krate? My only slight gripe is they charge while $2 extra for their delicious eggs, but it is so worth it because they are special. Lightly soaked in soy sauce and gooey inside. The seafood ramen is obviously pricey but they literally give you like 2 pounds of shrimp! I would advise them to make the broth slightly spicier if they are going to advertise it as 'spicy' seafood ramen. The Shoyu ramen with pork is perfection! No further comment.

Stopped by for the miso ramen and left absolutely stuffed. The portion sizes here are huge--they definitely don't skimp on the meat or noodles. Every bowl is packed and very filling, making it a good value if you're hungry. The broth and overall flavor were decent, but nothing that really stood out or had me craving another visit. This place is in a restaurant mecca called Krate at the Grove in Tampa, and it was AWESOME! I had the Chicken Tonkatsu, and K had the Pork Tonkatsu. Honestly, it was the best tonkatsu we've ever had! I ate until I was completely full and STILL had a whole bowl left to take home! K said it was "crazy good" and especially loved the soft-boiled egg. I had asked for mine without the egg or scallions, but after he tasted his, he wished I had gotten the egg so he could've had mine too! read more

Great ramen place very close to 4.5 stars. The restaurant is part of the Krate Shipping Container stores. The price is not cheap after the pandemic. We understand the restaurant now have increase price due to materials cost. So it is not count against them. We have the Tonkutsu Ramen. The charshu is pan grilled with added condition to enhance the flavor. It is beautiful. The ingredients are definitely nice and complimented to dish. Soup is good bone flavor. Overall is good. You need to give them time to cook. read more
Very nice place with good selection and large portions. I would love to have more vegetarian options, with tofu and not beef broth. I had vegetarian ramen and was very good! It's chilly outside and that was a good dish to have. Ladies who work there were all super nice and pleasant. I like ramen a lot and it was a very high quality. It's not cheap but you get a huge portion. Definitely will be back! So good! read more

I have been waiting to try Tasty Ramen for months since Krate was being built. I finally got the chance and was impressed with the small staff and volume of orders on a Friday night they had. I ordered the vegetarian ramen since I've been more plant bladed lately. I was disappointed with the lack of flavor I had in the ramen. I think if I ordered a different kind it would have had more toppings that had a depth of flavor like the seasoned egg and marinated mushrooms. There was a lot of attention to detail and a lot of care in this place and I really do want to come back and try the hibachi or a different ramen in the future. For the price I expected more. I also felt the interior of this restaurant needs more decor since it's a shipping container it needs some more character. I definitely got that those working the counter were working hard and valued what they were doing. read more

Got kicked out for simply doing some work on my computer was told this is a restaurant, but there was no one in line or even customers single person in the (restaurant) I paid for lunch and everything so that makes me a pain Customer I've been coming here since it opened and I'm just blown away that I can't simply do some work while eating lunch I won't come back to this place and I'm posting a picture to show how empty this place was read more

They were super friendly here and willing to nix the pork for me (I do not eat pork) so they did a vegetable broth for me instead of a pork base. There were lots of seafood in it but I do feel like the flavor was lacking. Maybe it needed some spices or more salt or something just to add a little umph to it. Overall though, it was still a good ramen and a great helping as well! read more

This is located in the crate at the Grove in Wesley Chapel, Florida. It's a part of one of many decorated shipping crates turned into restaurants in this lovely area. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The indoor gives a cozy/casual vibe. The seating is rather limited inside, so you might find yourself sitting outside if there's enough seats during peak time (weekends). I had the pleasure of having the seafood Ramen which is my favorite. This was fire! It was loaded with shrimp and other types of seafood. The broth was excellent. I would definitely consider coming here again to try out the other types of ramen. The location of this overall place is a bit of a hike for me, but whenever I am here, it's a strong consideration each time I'm here out of the many choices of restaurants. read more
I can't express enough how much I love Tasty Ramen!! The food has all been so flavorful and is made to order. The restaurant is cozy & service is great. If you eat there, the ramen is served in a beautiful bowl with a large wooden spoon. There's also chili oil out on the tables if you want more heat (thank you!!). The portions are huge...100% well worth every penny! I've had many ramen places in the Tampa area and have paid far more for ramen not nearly as good. Their ramen is packed with flavor (and includes tasty toppings without an upcharge) but you can add more toppings as well for a small fee. The chef is also serving chicken fried rice that is out of this world!! The chicken is cut up small and cooked perfectly to a light crisp. It really makes every bite perfect. It's tossed in the most delicious sauce that really brings this dish to the next level. For apps, the Gyoza, spring rolls, and fried shrimp are all tasty as well. I love that you can add an app to your meal as a combo- just do it!! Tasty Ramen is a new favorite that I will be back for over & over again. :) read more

Who doesn't like a good hot ramen noodle bowl. This was a very healthy serving I got too. I ordered the seafood ramen, which was delicious. The broth alone was hearty. This bowl took me two days to finish lol however I wouldn't recommend you to do this. This is a bowl meant for not now but RIGHT NOW! I'll definitely will be back. Don't let the $20 price scare you trust me, you get your monies worth. Though this place is a trek for me whenever I'm at the KRATE trust and believe I'm stopping by to grab a to-go bowl of Tasty Ramen read more

Upon arriving at KRATE Container Park at the Grove at Wesley Chapel, we picked Tasty Ramen as our first stop. We had tonkotsu soy ramen. The broth was tasty, not overly salty. The texture of the noodle was done right. Three circles of pork belly were soft and grilled to crispy at the edges. The soft-boiled egg, the wood ear mushroom, the bamboo shot, seaweed and garlic oil, were all well prepared. This was a good quality bowl of ramen. The inside sitting got AC, so it was comfortable during hot summer evening. Only 2 persons worked there, a bit wait on the service during the mealtime and yet they were all friendly and helpful. I am not used to the new inflation pricing, but to satisfy the ramen craving, this place got the job done. read more
First time at this spot. I don't have Ramen today as I wasn't that hungry . So I opt for singing small like there gyoza's very satisfying and a great presentation.. The real surprise was The octopus salad WOW. If your into cold asian salads and like this texture as well as umami sweet sour .. this dish was refreshing for me I opt for the sriracha for a little kick.. amazing service and cool temp to eat your food in peace ... coming back read more

I've been here several times now and I am impressed. I normally get the combo with Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen with the crab Rangoon. the serving is abundant and the flavor is spectacular. I have recommended people this spot and no one has been disappointed. Great spot to get your Ramen fix in Wesley Chapel. read more
