Delicious food! I thought I'd have leftovers but I ate everything. Really nice couple that seemed to be running it. I decided to try honey lemonade and I'm glad I did! They put it in a to go cup, so I drank my water and decided to enjoy my lemonade at home. Chicken ramen was delicious too. Nice and quiet on a Thursday night, only two other tables of people. Got a side of teriyaki chicken hibachi and steak hibachi and it was perfectly flavored and tender. Only complaint is that I haven't gone here sooner.

We were traveling through Lakeland and looking for a pet friendly restaurant. We found this on Apple Maps as a pet friendly restaurant. And we looked for reviews on YELP where also says "DOGS ALLOWED" For our surprise when we came in the lady greeted us at the door and said they don't allow dogs.

The staff was very friendly, the restaurant was clean, and the food was delicious. We definitely will be back to try more! My wife got a Peach Green Tea and the Spicy Curry Ramen. I ordered the Orange Chicken and Coconut Delight Slush. Everything tasted fresh!

I've been to this place a handful of times but I wish I lived closed to come more! The ramen and boba are A M A Z I N G! You will NOT be disappointed if you stop by. The service is great, our waitress was super sweet and checked up on us. The ambiance is very relaxing and has a good vibe. I have no idea why this place isn't packed full of people. My favorite ramen spot!

Second review. I updated to 5 stars. We had the spicy curry ramen and it was bomb! Also ordered two of the slushes and taro milk tea and they were great!

An amazing little Ramen joint! The staff were so friendly and attentive. We ordered lychee, grapefruit and peach bubble tea, goyoza dumpling, mega pork tonKatsu Ramen and black garlic Ramen. All food and drink was very delicious and you can tell the broth was homemade. The Ramen bowls are massive, and they hold so much food. It was very filling, the pictures are deceiving. Definitely will have to come back and try something else too.

As a sucker for a good ramen place, I've been not so patiently awaiting the opening of My Ramen. When it did, I was ready! So glad this place has come to our side of town. The folks here are super sweet! Some people in our party had questions about the menu, and they were very helpful. There's a huge variety of options on the menu. Within our group, we had the ramen, yakisoba, hibachi, teriyaki chicken and various boba teas. Everything arrived quickly and was amazing! And huge! It's a little pricey, but worth it in my opinion. The total for my portion of the bill (yakisoba, teriyaki chicken kids meal, and two boba teas, plus tip) was around $40. Definitely going to head back over there to try some other goodies!!

Food was not that great tso chicken was covered in sauce.it was overwhelming. A good dish gone bad.the teriyaki chicken was ok. To me it was over cooked. Maybe twice cooked. The fried gyoza was good but undercover. As for service . it's a mom and pop operation. The sweet iced would make a southern bush it was just so sweet.

The best ramen place in Lakeland, hands down. Highly, highly underrated. No matter what you get - authentic ramen, yakisoba, teriyaki, udon, or any of their delicious teas, smoothies, strikes, or bobas - you will NOT go away hungry or disappointed. The food is ordered competently, served fast, plated extremely well, and in huge portions for the price. Please do yourself a favor and visit this place!

    Orange chicken

Idk why I never been here before! The service was great and fast. The food is so authentic and flavorful. Krab Rangoon was the only semi not okay item it's just too much cream cheese. But the orange chicken is amazing; I can't get over how delicious it is.

Ramen was very flavorful! Service is pleasant but can be very very slow. If you're in a lunch break I don't suggest this be your stop.

If you know me, if I'm craving something I gotta have it, so Michi Ramen really saved me lol. The interior was lovely with a modern style. The kitchen can be seen from I ordered their Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen, Sakura Oolong Tea with Milk Foam, and Takoyaki. My friends ordered the Korean Hot Dog with potato half-dog, half-cheese and the hibachi. The cheese pull on the Korean hot dog was insanneee, my friend had couldn't keep pulling w arm because it kept going lol. The service was excellent, our server was attentive, funny, cleared all our empty plates, and was very on top of it. Our food came out fast! The ramen was delicious and the spice was the perfect kind that gave it great flavor but didn't have the nose running. The toppings on the Takoyaki were generous with a great texture. My oolong tea was a bit on the watery side but it's brewed fresh so I didn't mind. My friends loved their hibachi, I had a bite of the veggies and they were cooked to perfection. They said the miso soup and yum yum was on the sweet side which they weren't the biggest fan of but was obsessed with everything else. Will definitely come back when I'm in the area especially now that I know it's next to a Hobby Lobby.

It took several visits to Oksumi for me to realize just how special a place it is. Oh, make no…read moremistake, I knew that I liked it from the first visit, but it took a bit of reflection, and a bit of exploring the menu, for Oksumi's charm to really unfold, before me. Read other reviews, and the phrase "nothing fancy" keeps appearing. Another reviewer calls it "simple" and "to the point." This, right here, is the soul of Oksumi. It isn't a restaurant using the idea of ramen as a canvas for the ego of a chef looking to reinvent the dish. It is a ramenya, and its menu is a love letter to ramen. It does not need to uplift or reinvent ramen, because ramen is already perfect, as it is. One does not taste ego in Oksumi's dishes; one tastes respect, care, craftsmanship, and balance. Perhaps most importantly, one tastes every ingredient, and one tastes the role that every ingredient plays in the whole of one's ramen experience. As I explored the menu, as I tasted each element in my bowl, I found myself, again and again, noticing the quality of each element I tasted. The karaage is crisp, juicy inside, and its notes of melting fat aren't lost, even against a spicier base. The tonkotsu is silky upon the tongue, the shio clean but not at all simple, a subtle medley of salt, chicken, and the transparency needed to let the more delicate elements like the cilantro and bean sprouts express themselves, even as the fresh garlic and bonito express themselves more assertively. Oksumi's care and attention to balance encourages one to see these simple, elemental forms of ramen not as "basic" in the slightest, but as works of art expressed in their own whitespace. Approach the shio here not with the need for every space to be filled. This dish is a culinary Gokui no Uta. If you think there is something, there is nothing; if you think there is nothing, there is something. Over a fragile moment with calamari, in which I reflected that I had never once tasted a rubbery or greasy piece of squid at Oksumi, and in fact, had never tasted a *better* piece of squid, not even in my years on the California coast, it really came home for me. Oksumi is a place in which I stopped consuming, and started appreciating the "something-there." I wandered the menu, from tonkotsu black garlic (a flavor hurricane) to simple shio and the robustness of vegetarian Nagoya-style ramen, and let myself dissolve into the moment, into the Kai, the "something-there" that manifests when one's mind stops playing with its expectations and assumptions, and simply experiences. My happiest moments, as a diner, happen when a meal silences my unreasonable, arrogant, chattering mind, and brings me to a lighted door of experience somewhere between the late Leonard Cohen's semi-contrition and the late Anthony Bourdain's quiet confessionals in moments of being a stranger at a table. Again and again, I return to Oksumi, to understand what ramen *is*, and to humble my difficult, noisy mind to a level of quiet that can appreciate the Kai, the "something-there" that appears only when the mind is still, quiet, and allows itself to experience without a commentary track of judgment. Calling Oksumi "simple" is the highest praise one can pay it. Its ramen does not *need* adornment because its ramen is as adorned as ramen might ever need to be. Your attention is the substrate upon which Oksumi's elemental, straightforward ramen expresses itself. This place is an underrated treasure.
