Instead of offering an explanation or trying to make it right, I was simply told it was The Joinery's decision because they're located inside The Joinery food hall. I honestly don't know who's responsible--The Super Duper Spot or The Joinery--but passing the blame back and forth doesn't help the customer. If birthday rewards are being discontinued, any rewards that have already been sent out should still be honored through their expiration date. It has plenty of inside and outside seating depending on what you are feeling!!! Some of the food options include pizza, ramen, tacos, burgers, bbq, and ice cream. Today I went with Sabu Ramen. I did the Tonkotsu Ramen and it was so flavorful and tasty!!! The pork was cooked to perfection and was so so tender. A cute little food hall! Came here after work just to check it out. They actually have a bunch of different vendors to choose from that include tacos, poke, ramen, and more! I only got a few things but it tasted great! It definitely got busy on a Friday evening but it never got too crazy and I didn't have to wait too long for my food. I have seen this lace while walking round Mirror Lake in several occasions but failed to give it a try. Today we had a group and needed an option that offered a variety. The Joinery was perfect. Lots of wrong inside and out. A variety of choices s one had a burrito from a taqueria and had Japanese street food and I had a poke bowl from another. This has become our favorite halfway spot to meet up with Orlando friends when we drive from Tampa. Drink and food options are both excellent and it's just an awesome spot to hang out. We always get drinks from the bar. They have an awesome selection of craft beer as well as cocktails. The bartenders are friendly and allow you to sample. I haven't gotten to try all of the food vendors, but I love the Tonkatsu ramen from Sabu and the pizza from Folds. Great pricing and options all around. The location, the food vendors, the plentiful seating, the micro-brewery and the service combine to provide a very pleasant experience for singles, those on a date, and families. My wife and I chose The Joinery since Lakeland is the approximate halfway point between Orlando and St Pete where our niece was traveling from to meet us, and because of all the great reviews from fellow Yelpers. Even though we arrived around the time considered a late lunch, the place hummed with the plentiful number of people. We ordered a veggie pizza from Ava (wood-fried Neapolitan-styled), grilled mojo chicken and fried cauliflower tacos from Gallito Taqueria, chicken karaage from Sābu, and the Shrimp Volcano Roll from Zukku. All the food was good and satisfying. Each kiosk used a method of contacting us when the food was ready - a text to our cell phone, a device that buzzes, and a "hey you" as you walk by (true story). We didn't try the other vendors, but given more time and money and a larger stomach, I probably would have. The Joinery selected its food and beverage options well, in my opinion. Misc: As mentioned before, plenty of seating options are available inside and out. Parking in their space was no problem. Events can be booked here. Such a cute little food hall right in downtown. All it's missing is a little coffee shop. There's pizza, ice cream, a bar, 2 Asian places, a sandwich place and bbq. It's small and quaint but decorated cutely with plenty of table seating. The staff working there were so friendly and the service was quick. Very simple quick food experience in a renovated old building with over priced atmosphere.

Great variety of food and almost everything is a solid pick. Had the BBQ and the brisket was amazing. Tried the ramen and it was good but the honey chicken bun tasted better than the chicken they give you with the ramen. The ice cream also didn't disappoint. I am extremely disappointed by my experience at The Joinery, particularly because this was a place my family and I had enjoyed and visited many times before. I went there to celebrate my birthday with my son, who traveled from Orlando specifically to spend the day with me. Unfortunately, what should have been a happy afternoon turned into one of the most humiliating experiences I have ever had at a restaurant. I have a trained service dog who performs a specific disability-related task for me. While we were there, some teenagers were distracting and bothering my service dog, which caused him to bark. Instead of addressing what was happening or allowing me the opportunity to handle the situation, the manager told me that because of my service dog, I would have to move outside. I explained that he is a service animal and that I was entitled to remain inside with him. Rather than de-escalating the situation, the manager continued to challenge me and ultimately called the police. Having police officers arrive while I was simply trying to celebrate my birthday with my son was incredibly embarrassing and humiliating. After speaking with us, the police confirmed that I was within my rights to remain seated inside with my service dog. What troubles me most is how unnecessarily this situation escalated. A manager of a public establishment should understand the laws surrounding service animals and know how to handle these situations professionally and respectfully. I am sharing this because businesses need to take the rights of people with disabilities seriously and properly train their management and staff regarding service animals. No customer should be made to feel humiliated or singled out for requiring the assistance of a legitimate service animal. I sincerely hope The Joinery's ownership uses this experience as an opportunity to provide appropriate training so that another customer with a disability does not experience what I did. read more

We live in Tampa, but every time we're in or around Lakeland, we stop by The Joinery. Their food selection is great, we love the BBQ, Ramen and Pizza spots, but the Sushi, Burger and Ice Cream spots are great as well! Gonna be honest, I didn't care for the Mexican restaurant but I'm sure they're there for a reason! The bar staff is great and always super friendly. read more

Another fantastic visit! This is a must-do stop if you're driving even remotely near Lakeland. While I usually go for the delicious sushi spot, my nephew and I chose to get smash burgers, ramen, and ice cream this time. As always, friendly and speedy service, even during lunch on a weekday. Food is quality and brilliant flavors. Good portions for decent prices. Our only gripe this time around is the brown butter chocolate chip cookie ice cream we have, quite literally, been talking about all year had far more cookie than ice cream underneath the surface of the scoop... more like a soggy cookie experience that left us a wee bit disappointed. This was my first time to Lakeland and was told about The Joinery. A friend and I went and it is like a food court with different options such as pizza, Mexican food, Ramen, and Sushi. There is also a bar where you can order beverages. I like this concept because you can go with a group of friends, family, or on a date and each person can get what they life. For me I had the Birria quesadilla from the Mexican spot and it did not disappoint! I have had Birria tacos before but not quesadillas! The beef was flavorful and tender, and the gravy to dip the Birria in was delicious and flavorful as well! I had a business meeting here and felt like it was a great spot for groups in particular as there are so many options and cuisines available, from Sabu (ramen and boba), pizza, barbecue, burgers/fries, poke bowls, tacos, and ice cream to finish. Plenty of options for vegan and gluten free friends. The staff members were all very friendly and helpful with answering any questions about the menu. I went on a chilly winter day, so I decided to get a bowl of ramen--the veggie miso ramen ($14) as well as the regular milk tea with boba ($6). The ramen noodles were excellent, and the bowl and appearance were pretty unique. Interestingly, there were brussel sprouts which I thought actually tasted quite good, crispy, and not bitter at all, as someone who usually dislikes them. However, the bowl came with kimchi that was still cold (!), like it had just come out of the fridge, and personally, the broth was much too salty to finish and unfortunately had to be thrown out. I also got the milk tea with boba ($6) which was refreshing, and I liked that you can customize the sweetness level. Of note, the milk teas are all iced (a surcharge for no ice) and nondairy (using oat milk), but they also have hot teas if you choose. read more

Keep in mind that if you go during a peak meal time, it could be busy and not as easy to find a spot. This houses multiple food businesses under one roof with communal seating. Also even if you ask for no ice they still give you less of it so i wouldn't ask for no ice you Prb still finish the whole thing in like 5 sips either way, again, nothing wrong with that, I personally make my own boba a LOT and it's definitely kinda pricey, so I don't blame em, the burger place.... Ehhhhh it tastes a littlleee burnt but other than that it's good, the taco place is fire, the Chinese place is fire, but the soda machines there, like the public ones not the restaurant specific ones, are like 80% water, so if you're gonna go there, just the joinery in general, don't get your hopes up too much for the drinks, BUT! The taco place has Jarritos, and the Chinese place has that Chinese drink that I forgot the name of that is pretty good, so I would recommend getting one of those two instead of just a basic fountain drink.. but other than that it's fire! read more

The atmosphere is great, food is great (yes I've had something from each one lol), and it's all in one spot. Parking can get full at peak times. People bring families and big groups, so if a busy hectic place isn't your vibe, you can sit outside and enjoy the view of the lake. Bathrooms are always clean and stocked and have full doors for complete privacy. They have a fountain for soda so you can actually enjoy your soda, but there's a huge variety of other drinks: alcoholic, nonalcoholic, bubble tea, sparkling water, etc. read more

Just enough spice to awaken the younger and the corn! Boom! Never had a puffy taco, but for once the shell did not crumble. Savory meat, just the right amount of toppings and happiness! The pizza was a New York style, with the usual thin layer of sauce, chewy fresh crust, and just th right amount of cheese. Fold and chomp. The need offerings were well crafted, with no exotics and a great malty or hoppy foundation. The service was a bit slow and disorganized, but the wait was in a very pleasant and popping environment.
