I went to the Super Duper Spot to use the $10 birthday reward that I had received just a few days earlier, only to be told they no longer accept those rewards. Instead of offering an explanation or trying to make it right, I was simply told it was The Joinery's decision because they're located inside The Joinery food hall. I honestly don't know who's responsible--The Super Duper Spot or The Joinery--but passing the blame back and forth doesn't help the customer. If birthday rewards are being discontinued, any rewards that have already been sent out should still be honored through their expiration date. Overall, it was a disappointing experience and a pretty crappy way to treat someone on their birthday. read more

The joinery is a neat place and I hope more places like it pop up all over Central Florida. I first experienced something like it in Texas and I think it is a great buisness model. My wife and I had Poke bowls from Zukku and it was great! Fresh ingrediants, simple way to order, and the vibe is extremely chill. Fun place for the entire family, my only complaint is the parking. The Joinery is such a cute food hall in downtown Lakeland located on Lake Mirror that has different eateries to choose from, a full bar, and a craft cocktail bar. It has plenty of inside and outside seating depending on what you are feeling!!! Some of the food options include pizza, ramen, tacos, burgers, bbq, and ice cream. Today I went with Sabu Ramen. I did the Tonkotsu Ramen and it was so flavorful and tasty!!! The pork was cooked to perfection and was so so tender. A cute little food hall! Came here after work just to check it out. They actually have a bunch of different vendors to choose from that include tacos, poke, ramen, and more! This has become our favorite halfway spot to meet up with Orlando friends when we drive from Tampa. Drink and food options are both excellent and it's just an awesome spot to hang out. We always get drinks from the bar. They have an awesome selection of craft beer as well as cocktails. The bartenders are friendly and allow you to sample. I haven't gotten to try all of the food vendors, but I love the Tonkatsu ramen from Sabu and the pizza from Folds. Great pricing and options all around. The location, the food vendors, the plentiful seating, the micro-brewery and the service combine to provide a very pleasant experience for singles, those on a date, and families. My wife and I chose The Joinery since Lakeland is the approximate halfway point between Orlando and St Pete where our niece was traveling from to meet us, and because of all the great reviews from fellow Yelpers. Even though we arrived around the time considered a late lunch, the place hummed with the plentiful number of people. We ordered a veggie pizza from Ava (wood-fried Neapolitan-styled), grilled mojo chicken and fried cauliflower tacos from Gallito Taqueria, chicken karaage from Sābu, and the Shrimp Volcano Roll from Zukku. All the food was good and satisfying. Each kiosk used a method of contacting us when the food was ready - a text to our cell phone, a device that buzzes, and a "hey you" as you walk by (true story). We didn't try the other vendors, but given more time and money and a larger stomach, I probably would have. The Joinery selected its food and beverage options well, in my opinion. Misc: As mentioned before, plenty of seating options are available inside and out. Parking in their space was no problem. Events can be booked here. Lastly, a walk around Lake Mirror across the street can be a fun time to spend after the meal at The Joinery. read more

Such a cute little food hall right in downtown. All it's missing is a little coffee shop. There's pizza, ice cream, a bar, 2 Asian places, a sandwich place and bbq. It's small and quaint but decorated cutely with plenty of table seating. The staff working there were so friendly and the service was quick. This was my second visit to The Joinery, and this time, I decided to try the burger station. The burger was packed with flavor--just a bit saltier than I prefer, but still really tasty! I love that there are plenty of seating options and a great variety of food and drinks to choose from. I was pleasantly surprised to discover the outdoor patio overlooking the lake--I'll definitely be sitting out there next time to enjoy the view with my meal. We live in Tampa, but every time we're in or around Lakeland, we stop by The Joinery. Their food selection is great, we love the BBQ, Ramen and Pizza spots, but the Sushi, Burger and Ice Cream spots are great as well! Another fantastic visit! This is a must-do stop if you're driving even remotely near Lakeland. While I usually go for the delicious sushi spot, my nephew and I chose to get smash burgers, ramen, and ice cream this time. As always, friendly and speedy service, even during lunch on a weekday. Food is quality and brilliant flavors. Good portions for decent prices. Our only gripe this time around is the brown butter chocolate chip cookie ice cream we have, quite literally, been talking about all year had far more cookie than ice cream underneath the surface of the scoop... more like a soggy cookie experience that left us a wee bit disappointed. This was my first time to Lakeland and was told about The Joinery. A friend and I went and it is like a food court with different options such as pizza, Mexican food, Ramen, and Sushi. There is also a bar where you can order beverages. I like this concept because you can go with a group of friends, family, or on a date and each person can get what they life. For me I had the Birria quesadilla from the Mexican spot and it did not disappoint! I have had Birria tacos before but not quesadillas! The beef was flavorful and tender, and the gravy to dip the Birria in was delicious and flavorful as well! I had a business meeting here and felt like it was a great spot for groups in particular as there are so many options and cuisines available, from Sabu (ramen and boba), pizza, barbecue, burgers/fries, poke bowls, tacos, and ice cream to finish. Plenty of options for vegan and gluten free friends. The staff members were all very friendly and helpful with answering any questions about the menu. I went on a chilly winter day, so I decided to get a bowl of ramen--the veggie miso ramen ($14) as well as the regular milk tea with boba ($6). The ramen noodles were excellent, and the bowl and appearance were pretty unique. Interestingly, there were brussel sprouts which I thought actually tasted quite good, crispy, and not bitter at all, as someone who usually dislikes them. However, the bowl came with kimchi that was still cold (!), like it had just come out of the fridge, and personally, the broth was much too salty to finish and unfortunately had to be thrown out. I also got the milk tea with boba ($6) which was refreshing, and I liked that you can customize the sweetness level. Of note, the milk teas are all iced (a surcharge for no ice) and nondairy (using oat milk), but they also have hot teas if you choose. read more

This came up when I was looking for places to meet half way with a long time friend - it's roughly between Tampa and Orlando. I went around opening and didn't have any issues finding a spot to park. Keep in mind that if you go during a peak meal time, it could be busy and not as easy to find a spot. This houses multiple food businesses under one roof with communal seating. The atmosphere is great, food is great (yes I've had something from each one lol), and it's all in one spot. Parking can get full at peak times. People bring families and big groups, so if a busy hectic place isn't your vibe, you can sit outside and enjoy the view of the lake. Bathrooms are always clean and stocked and have full doors for complete privacy. They have a fountain for soda so you can actually enjoy your soda, but there's a huge variety of other drinks: alcoholic, nonalcoholic, bubble tea, sparkling water, etc. read more

We went to an outing and needed a place to satisfy six different appetites, and..boy howdy, did we find it. A bar surrounded by a variety of food offering to keep a small hoard happy. We tried the pizza, taqueria, and the bar. With lemonade from the burger joint. All were top notch. The street corn, nachos and puffy tacos were first rate. Just enough spice to awaken the younger and the corn! Boom! Never had a puffy taco, but for once the shell did not crumble. Savory meat, just the right amount of toppings and happiness! The pizza was a New York style, with the usual thin layer of sauce, chewy fresh crust, and just th right amount of cheese. Fold and chomp. The need offerings were well crafted, with no exotics and a great malty or hoppy foundation. The service was a bit slow and disorganized, but the wait was in a very pleasant and popping environment. Kids were everywhere. This place has layers and layers of ambiance. Over all, a great find for us and we highly recommend this if you have out of state guests in Orlando to entertain. A+ read more

My kids and I were starving after a trip to our favorite park nearby and we needed an early dinner. I have 5 young kids, so eating out is always somewhat precarious. We ended up at The Joinery, and it was definitely the right choice. Everyone was able to get whatever they wanted from such an array of choices. The burgers were amazing crowd pleaser. The pizza was delicious. And the crunch wrap and tacos were so yummy! Not only was everyone able to get whatever they were in the mood for, the atmosphere of the joinery was perfectly family friendly. It was loud (but not too loud) so we didn't feel like our big group was too much. There were high chairs easily accessible, and to top it all off, we were able to get my favorite ice cream after dinner, all in one location. We loved the Joinery and will be back! read more
