We were originally going to split one because we weren't even that hungry, but at the last minute we decided to get two... and honestly, I could've eaten 10. It's nothing fancy, just the cutest old-school stand, and you should definitely be prepared for a line because this place is popular. They only accept cash, but at these prices, who cares?! $2 for a corn dog, $0.75 for a small pop, and $1.25 for a large. They even paint your ketchup and mustard right on the corn dog, which is such a fun little old-school touch. If I lived here, I'd probably be getting these 1,000 times. I can absolutely see why this place is so popular!

The service is fast however people love these Pronto Pups so there is always a line but it goes fast and these things are worth every second you wait. We ate & then walked to the pier & on the way back...guess what we did.....we jumped back in line and had more for the road. GREAT PLACE TO EAT! I wish I had got in line 30 years ago. Being a burger joint, we obviously ordered everything but the burgers lol. We had a long trip ahead and didn't wanna feel too greasy but looking over at other tables later, the burgers looked delicious. I got the peach salad that came with curried pumpkin seeds and shredded asiago and croutons. I added grilled chicken for $4. I wished there were some fresh peaches on it but the salad was tossed in a peach dressing instead. The croutons also tasted like fried pieces of sandwich bread. I will say, I was so pleasantly surprised by how delicious this salad was! Holy cow, after a few days of camping, having vegetables was one thing, having this salad changed my outlook on life. My fiancé was a little saddened by the fact that we will be no where near this place (from Connecticut) becuase he thoroughly enjoyed his brisket wrap. Maybe it's the Mid Western charm and hospitality, but our experience was so great. After getting the bill, our waiter (who had two colored socks on and my friend thought he only had one, but alas, one sock was just black while the other was a hot pink) offered us our drinks to go and brought us back a full cup of iced tea and Dr Pepper. Our table of four left with a $70 bill which was fantastic, given that the food also satiated us to the best degree. All the way from CT, I wanna say: thank you Michigan. And thank you to the Gnarly Heifer, even though we did not taste your Heif.

It's a casual restaurant at a golf course, with sandwiches, pizza, and other snacks, plus a full bar. I ordered the buffalo chicken wrap, and Nate got the chicken bacon ranch sub with tater tots. There is some inside seating, but we opted for one of the big tents outside overlooking the golf course. We saw a huge snapping turtle as we waited for our food and got to watch people tee off. The food was quite good and really hit the spot. My wrap was flavorful and the chicken was tender. Nate's sub was toasty and cheesy. The tots were just okay, but that was the only minor negative of the meal. The employees working were super friendly. I'm glad we found this spot!

The hot dog was delicious and the bun was soft and fresh. I can't wait to stop in again to try a different one on the menu. The owners are a husband and wife couple and are friendly and engaging. The building was very small inside as far as seating goes - just a few tables. But you at least get to stand inside to order and wait for your food on a hot day. Things seemed a little outdated, but it was still a fine experience. We ordered only food, no ice cream. It came out fairly quick and the people working were friendly. As far as seating goes, there is a TON of outdoor seating. There are nice picnic tables out the front door in a small fenced-in area. Out back, behind the building, is a very large area, comparatively, that not only has more picnic tables, but also a large play structure with swings and a slide. There were games like cornhole back there, and all of the tables had large, colorful umbrellas. Again, this area was enclosed (for safety) with no front gate for ease of access. Around the play area was the drive, leading to a drive-thru! Love this. There was plenty of parking off to the side. And there was even an ice chest out there to purchase bags of ice. The food - we got corndogs, cheese curds, and onion rings. Everything was fresh, delicious, and absolutely met our expectations. We ended up going back inside to order ice cream after that because of the quality of the food. Just as good! Kudos to this business.
