They open relatively early, so when we got there we were one of the only people in the restaurant. Our waiter was very nice and attentive. I had my little one year old with us and he was patient while I was trying to order and figure her out and try to keep her from throwing the plateware. My mom wanted to try the donuts. They were very tasty and not too sweet. For breakfast, I ordered the florentine skillet. It was very fresh and the yolk added a layer of creaminess. My husband got an omelet and really enjoyed it. I didn't try any because it was a little spicy, but he thought it tasty and full of flavor. We tried this place for the first time over Memorial Day weekend, and loved it so much we went back again...twice in three days! The restaurant is super clean, and the employees are super friendly! But best of all, the food was fantastic! I had the Chicken Fried Chicken with the gravy on the side. It was amazing! I am always hesitant about restaurant gravy, but this was good!! The biscuit was amazing, and the chicken was nice and crispy! My husband had an omelet, and it was delicious, and huge! On our second visit, I had the Mediterranean Avocado Toast. Went for breakfast with a few friends to the newly opened Naperville occasion. So many yummy looking options it was hard to choose! They currently don't have a gluten-free menu but plenty of options for my friend to choose from. I had the Espanola omelette which had chicken chorizo-delicious and plenty to take home after I ate the pancakes and potatoes or fruit that comes with it. The options are endless with skillets, avocado toast, waffles, biscuits and beignets to name a few. It's a really cute atmosphere and our waitress was patient with us with all our questions. UPDATE!! So... the magic has died along with my waffle. Went back yesterday, because last time, it was worth the drive and the price. Not this time. ($120 for 3 people) The donuts were still just as good, although 2 of them had raw dough inside. The crepes were good- but very sweet. The chicken sandwich was delicious. The service lacked attention. The pecan waffle was awful. Cold, crumbly and dry. We explained to the waitress and she asked if we would like something else- yes, please and thank you. The cinnamon French toast was better. But why did it have a mound of bananas on it. No idea- the menu clearly says you can add it but we didn't request it. Either way, we were charged for both entrees. When we went up to pay, I kindly explained about the waffle- she said it clearly explains on the menu that it is a simple dish only sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar. Ours had no cinnamon or sugar. Cold, dry and awful. Either way, we paid for the stupid waffle. And the 2nd entree. After the anticipation of going to our new favorite place that we drove a distance for has been crushed, we won't be back. They have 4 different steak offerings: Ribeye, Chopped Steak, Skirt Steak and Country Fried Steak! Generous portions and tasty food. Dad and hubby ordered Omelettes. They have a build your own option available. They opted for hashbrowns and pancakes. Pancakes filled the plate. Hashbrowns were cooked golden brown. Hubby got a topping of peppers and cheese. There are options to upgrade the pancakes to one of their signature ones. Lots of options to customize your sides. I got the Dang Burger which had Remoulade sauce, caramelized onions sautéed fresh mushrooms, lettuce and tomato on it. I ordered French Fries and Cream of Broccoli soup. Both were hot and tasty.
