This years Taste of Pines was even bigger than last year. The city needs a bigger space to host this event. It keeps getting bigger each year. I had a great time. The food was and drinks were excellent. The best part was that got to vote for my favorite drink, dessert and food. This event happens once per year. The tickets are sold online and they sell fast. It is well organized. They have plenty of policemen and staff guiding with parking and things. I have been attending this event for a few years now and I always have a good time. My favorite dessert was Keik. They had a combination of something I had not tasted before and I loved it. They also had a beautiful, pink station. The coffee rub burger was good. My second favorite was a birria taco. I forgot the name of the restaurant but it was the only one here with that taco. It was delicious. read more

Taste on Pine has a lot going for it. The food? Always on point -- fresh, flavorful, and worth coming back for. Service falls somewhere between good and great -- friendly and helpful, though not quite exceptional. Drinks are the only real drawback during regular hours -- they can feel a little small and light for the price. That said, their weekday happy hours make up for it, and Crab Leg Wednesdays are my personal favorite. Another fun touch: themed nights in the back of the restaurant, where depending on the day you might find karaoke or games -- it's a nice change of pace and adds to the energy. The location is a bit on the sketchy side, so I'd recommend getting there early to take advantage of the free parking and to feel comfortable. Overall, it's a spot I'll definitely keep coming back to -- especially for the food and the weekday specials. read more

Came here for a friend's birthday, and honestly, the vibes were a bit of a rollercoaster. I'm convinced the bartender is actually an alchemist trying to turn gold into mediocrity. The drinks are priced like they're infused with unicorn tears, but they taste like disappointment. They lure you in with a $5 Happy Hour Margarita Tuesday, but save your fiver. It's basically a cup of sour mix that's had a brief, platonic conversation with a bottle of tequila. Hard pass. Just when I was ready to stage a walkout, the Rasta Pasta arrived. My goodness. It was so good I almost forgot I was paying rent level prices for my drink. It's the kind of meal that makes you want to write a thank you note to the chef's mother. The Oxtail and Shrimp Tacos also showed up to play. They were genuinely delicious and solid enough to keep me from crying about the bar tab. Come for the pasta, stay for the tacos, but maybe hydrate in the parking lot first. read more

This event was a fun way to spend the day and offered a great opportunity to sample food and drinks from a wide variety of local vendors. Everything was well organized, from parking to crowd management, which made the experience feel smooth despite the large turnout. I especially enjoyed being able to vote for my favorite food, drink, and dessert, since it made the event more interactive. The selection was impressive, and several dishes really stood out with unique flavors. My only suggestion would be finding a larger venue because it felt crowded at times. Even with that minor issue, I had an enjoyable experience and would happily attend again in the future. read more

I've had my eye on Taste on Pine for a while after seeing it on Instagram, so I finally decided to check it out for a girls' night. We arrived around 8:00 p.m., maybe a little after, and the restaurant was pretty empty--only about four other people inside. We parked on the street in front of an extended-stay motel, but it was still within view of the restaurant and the security outside the lounge. There was no cover charge; we just had to show our IDs and get our purses checked before heading inside. Since it was still early in nightlife terms, we were able to sit anywhere we wanted. Our server, Calisa, was fantastic--super friendly and provided excellent service. She was also really accommodating when I asked about getting a French 75. She was upfront that the bartender was new but assured me that if I didn't like it, she would make it herself as the manager. When my French 75 arrived, I could immediately tell something was off. It was served in a glass that looked more like a beer glass, with extra flowers on it, instead of the traditional flute. It also had mixing straws, which I've never seen for this cocktail. Initially, it tasted okay, but as it sat, it started tasting more like beer, with visible separation between the cognac and the clear liquid at the bottom (which shouldn't have been champagne since the drink is supposed to be topped with it). Instead of having the manager remake it, I decided to order a specialty cocktail, Taste on Pine, from their menu that had similar ingredients. Unfortunately, it was just as disappointing. It was advertised as being served with dry ice, but it arrived in the same type of glass as the French 75 and lacked any of the presentation or wow factor I expected. The vibe was nice for a chill lounge experience. We stayed for a bit, enjoyed the hookah, listened to music, and caught up before heading to another spot for food. As we were leaving, more security had arrived, and metal barriers were set up, so it seemed like the real club crowd was about to roll in. If you're looking for a cool vibe with decent hookah, it's worth stopping by. However, I wouldn't come back for the cocktails. I do appreciate the manager's honesty and effort to accommodate me, which was a nice touch. I'd consider returning, but next time, I'll stick to hookah and maybe a simple drink I know they can execute. read more

Family-owned business affordable prices, Love the Rasta Pasta and the mango habanero wings..

I visited recently 1/10 for a friends birthday party. This was a nice vibe and a good grown time . Cocktails were done right and though I didn't order an entree I did have a bite of friend's chicken Alfredo and it was pretty good. Had I had an appetite I would have ordered some myself. Definitely an establishment worth visiting. read more

Nice ambiance, cute set up. Went as a group and most ordered the crab leg special and it was pretty good. Be aware that if you want sides with the crab legs, 2 sides is an ADDITIONAL $12!!! One of our guest ordered the salmon dinner and it was burnt to a crisp and we was surprised the server even brought it out to her like that. The manager came to her and he rectified the matter with no issue. The owner, she was quite attentive and professional and very welcoming. Only issue is the parking is very limited and the security outside tried to charge $40 to park on the street!!! That was insane. You're spending money to eat at the establishment so why charge, especially that much to park!! Make it make sense. read more

I've been hearing about Taste on Pine but hadn't had a chance to stop in, however, last night; I was in thurrrrrrrrrrrrrr. LoL!!!!! It sits on the corner which is perfect for finding a parking spot as you have two streets to choose from. This made parking easy which is always a good thing. Walking up, there is security out front which is much appreciated as the area can be hit or Miss after dark. Security was very professional and welcomed us into the establishment. As soon as you walk in, it's a total vibeeeeeeeeeee. The ambiance is vibrant. The staff is upbeat. The color selections on the wall make the space mysterious while the neon lighting makes it pop. It's a visual balance of date night and turn up all in one... The floor plan is open, so we had no preference on where to sit. Once seated, Tone greeted us and welcomed us in. Of course, Markus immediately ordered his Hookah as I ordered my Sweet Tea. LoL! Though they took a minimalist approach to the menu, they covered every main desire. There are wings, pasta options, salmon, and even a rice bowl. Nothing overly complex, yet still simple without being plain. For dinner, I decided to be simple with 10 Wings and Fries. For those who love the small wings, this is your spot. The wings are the smaller party sized wings (as of 06.29.24), they were perfectly fried and had the right amount of SweetHeat on them. The fries are the shoestring fries and were golden fried and perfectly seasoned. The food was good and did what was needed for a simple meal... Next time I go I want to try the salmon. As we were wrapping our night, Mark, one of the owners stopped by to greet us and check on us. This was truly appreciated as a representation of Great Service. As Tone was an attentive waiter, then to meet one of the co-owners who took time to say hello, it's action items such as this that will keep me coming back. If you're in the area and looking for a Vibe or a Meal, Taste on Pine is a stop you must make. Come for the Food, stay for the Vibeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. read more

Be Warned! I was greeted by the best hostess in the business. I was seated and waited for my party. We were drawn to this place for the happy hour. Since they ran out of wings, I ordered the Asian Chicken Bowl, the menu price $15. Once my food arrived (10mins after everyone else) it was "decent". Now it's time for the bill...no itemized check, just the amount to pay. Hold Up! Why is my bill more than I expected. The server then showed me the itemized ticket, ...and there it was Asian Chicken Bowl $18. I requested to see the menu to check the price. The menu never came after waiting 20mins. Finally a mgr came over and said "is everything ok", I said no and explained the price difference...he said "it's only $3". Welp, that was basically saying don't come back! He did ask are you good, I want to resolve it...the proper response should have been, let me adjust that for you. Sir, It's just $3, it's $3 plus tax, it's $3 plus gratuity. I'm glad other patrons enjoy Taste on Pine, I just want you all to be warned and ask about menu prices. #principal read more

Taste on Pine - Bill - Lounges Near Me - Atlanta, Georgia

One of the late nightmare with a friend and decided to go to taste on Pine. It wasn't a very busy night for the restaurant, which was perfect. We were able to take our time and get a good idea of how the restaurant operates. Our server name was Tone and he was excellent all of our questions in detailed and even gave suggestions. I do enjoy a drink and a hookah as I wait on my food and the hookah was perfectly made. It wasn't too harsh or too weak and I was able to enjoy it without feeling very lightheaded. My friend and I engaged in great conversation with our server while we waited on our food. I would recommend anybody going to taste on the pond. The hospitality was out of this world for it to be considered a bar/lounge. The food came out hot and fresh in my drink was perfectly made. I know that they will be undergoing some renovations. I hope they come back with the same or even better hospitality, and can't wait to come back in a couple of months. read more

We came here on a Wednesday night. Parking is limited, but there is street parking. The restaurant opens at 7 pm. It's a great place for late happy hour. We ordered crab legs, corn, eggs, fries (not pictured), broccoli (not pictured), and the island hopper which is basically a passion fruit margarita. The service was amazing and the food was delicious! I'm definitely going to get at least 3 more clusters next time. It was truly a vibe! I look forward to trying it again soon. read more

So I came here because one of my friends saw the promo for one of the nights specials. Everybody there was Nice and friendly. Came to greet me immediately. I don't have any big complaints about that. I got there and it was pretty empty because it was just opening. Which was fine! There is some indoor and some outdoor seating. They have hookah if you're into a smoking hookah. It looks like they have a back room as well but that door was closed because it probably wasn't enough people to have it open. Or maybe it was a private area. But they do have a lot more space than it looks like initially. Music but maybe a little loud but not a deal breaker. It was set in the mood, it was a vibe. Which was okay. To me it wasn't like it was a DJed set, but the music was all right. It has a Full bar and some decent specials. Happy hour is clutch. Wednesday has $5 crab leg clusters. Friday is wing night. Now the clusters come with this Cajun garlic butter situation and that joint is good! Whatever that butter is, they put it on everything! Well whatever seasoning is in the butter I guess! I had a couple of clusters, I had some broccoli and some french fries. The broccoli had the same seasoning and the broccoli was just the right amount of spice and I enjoyed it. The french fries had the regular seasoning, it didn't have a doused in butter, and they were pretty seasoned well. The crab itself was pretty good. Wasn't the biggest portion but was the smallest portion either. For $5 you really can't complain! They give you gloves but they don't give you crackers. That part kind of threw me off a little bit. Any crab place I would think unless they come pre-cracked, would give you crackers to navigate that. Sure it's not the end of the world, you may have to get a little dirty and grip some of the shell, but that was just odd. I have to bite one of the shelves to get the main claw meat out, hopefully it in damage my teeth lol. But seriously though, not having crackers was again, not the end of the world but I would probably get a couple of those for that specific night since it's going to be a lot of crab being served. Just a couple of things to note, Be aware that there is an 18% gratuity added to all checks so don't get it confused when you see your bill. Also, parking is basically get it how you live. There isn't a lot of parking there, but when you do find it it's all street parking so you may have to park around the corner a little bit. Just don't expect a specific parking lot dedicated to this restaurant. Around the corner is poor Calvin's so you can probably park there and it's just a minute or two walk. read more

Came here for one thing only and that was the CRAB LEGS. My friend told me they had $5 crab legs on Wednesdays so i definitely had to give them a try. Crab legs took a while to come out, but they were very flavorful and seasoned to only be $5. I was pleasantly surprised. They also have $10 drinks here. Typical Atlanta lounge type of setup. They do have hookah and a dj. They have various specials also on other days of the week. Parking is free on the side of the street, just be careful if you are walking by yourself and you park far. I would definetly come back. read more

The food was the real star -- that Rasta pasta was my favorite thing to eat there and it was even good the second day (leftovers). The drinks were also really good. The chicken and rice was also a must try! I like the wings but they weren't mind blowing. The service was good-- our server was very nice. The ambiance is good, but it is like a lounge so if you don't like loud music, bring earplugs ! read more

First and foremost the ambiance of this spot is very cute and chill. I love the fact that you have the option sit out on the patio or indoors and that both spaces are married by rolling glass doors. The dj is always on point. The drinks are amazing! My go to is the liv and little made with tequila instead of vodka. The fresh edible flower is fun touch. The food is always really good, especially the garlic broccoli and the enclave wings ( that sweet heat sauce is a game changer (Chef's )! The service is always bar none. The servers are friendly, and have positive attitudes they are very attentive and always accommodating. That is something that is very rare these days, and it it very much appreciated. Overall, I would definitely recommend this spot for a fun night out. read more

Great service and fresh food I liked the wings and the salmon it was delicious !!!!!!!!!

I came across this hidden gem while scrolling on Instagram with my homegirl. It was pretty easy to find and has street parking available for free. Upon arriving we were greeted by the security guard and he was very nice and handsome too. As soon as I get to the door, we were greeted by either the manager or the owner and he made sure that we were seated promptly and with a smile. He asked the preference that we had whether on the patio or inside. We originally sat inside, but the air was on blast, which is a good thing but my friend preferred to go outside. The inside of the establishment was very cute and gave a nice chill vibe. They had a very good mixture of music playing. We went to happy hour on Friday where they offer lemon drops and their house special for drinks. For Food on happy hour on Friday they offer $.75 wings and $10 lobster tails. We ordered the chicken eggrolls and the shrimp eggrolls for an appetizer and they both were to die for. The food came out hot and steaming and it was so good. We also try the wings for happy hour. I tried the lemon pepper and the jerk flavor and they both were good. For my drink, I tried the lemon drop and the house special and let me tell you the bartender knows what she doing. The drinks were strong and tasty! If you haven't tried this place, you should definitely try it out read more

This is a beauty establishment. Good vibes, but mediocre food. I ordered the Asian bowl. The only thing that made this be able to be called a bowl is the food was in a bowl. It was a bowl full of white rice, 4 pieces of broccoli and 6 shrimp. No vegetables, onions, peppers, Asian toppings, nothing. They should have called it bowl of white rice with Asian dressing. Maybe they should look at the Asian bowl at Applebees and take notes. read more

Great atmosphere and food. Valet parking and secure atmosphere. Drinks good. Two sides to party.

The ambiance was a club/lounge vibe with hookah. The food was ok. Wings were good but the my main entree was subpar. The service was good. I I'll say seems like a new restaurant in early stages. The price point doesn't match the experience. Plastic cups and plastic silverware with a 90$ price tag attached. Also beware of the gratuity18% . Seems excessive after tipping. If you want wings and drinks could work out for you. Not a "dinner" vibe. read more

the food was great and it was reasonably priced, no instagram overcharging! the drinks were strong and the staff was cool! I went to this location based off a music event. The setup of the location is very different. The outside patio area is beautiful but the inside can use some work. It's a restaurant/club. But they could work on the decor some more. The drinks we had were strong. I saw people ordering hookahs and their are sections for purchase. There is also a stage for performances. read more
