I was in Olean and decided to take my family over to Tasta Pizza. When I arrived there was only 1 person in line waiting to order but they still managed to make us wait for 10 minutes to give our order (12 slices and a 2 liter). We were given the soda and sat down to wait for our order. We sat in our booth and watched 3 people come and go with their orders fulfilled. Twenty minutes into our wait I approached the front counter and was greeted like a brand new customer like I haven't been already waiting for my order. I told the person behind the counter we are still waiting for the order we made 20 minutes ago. The blank stare I got in return did not help the situation. I returned to my seat and waited another fifteen minutes only to watch another family who came in after us be served. I ended up walking out without pizza or my money. I will never return. It's sad to see a long standing business like this fall so far. Simply disgusted. read more

Prices keep going up, but their quality of food and staff keep going down. They've always nickeled and dimed you to death, but now it's way worse. It's sad when Crosby's gas station pizza is 10x better than tasta. This is a pizza and wings area. There are so many great places to eat at instead of them. Avoid this circus at all costs! I've always hated their pizza. It's stale dough over floured, insanely greasy, and stingy as hell with the cheese even when you pay extra for extra cheese you just get the amount that comes on a regular pizza from far better local pizza places like perfect pizza and Lena's pizza. I only like their old dad wings. Which they raised their price on substantially and started giving out smaller wings. $30 for 20 small wings is a joke. I was talked into getting their pizza and wing special which was wrongly priced on their website. It came out to over $40 for a 16 inch pizza and wings so they messed up like as always. I get there and stand in line waiting while they all stand around and gossip with other customers. I finally get waited on and they tell me that my order doesn't exust6. I argued and then they looked through the computer and said "oh we already gave it to someone else." Are you serious??? This is the 2nd time they gave my order to someone else!!!! I used to work there as I was finishing my senior year in high school (2022 graduate) and stayed for a little after high school l. I'm going to tell you about this place with all the details I know. 1) The owner is a downright jerk who treats his employees other than his daughter and son like absolute trash (call names, tells them they aren't going to make it there and overall is just rude.), which I why I quit because he called me a retard repeatedly and I was sick and he told me just go home and yelled at me for being sick so I never went back for my shift. The fryers don't ever get cleaned when I worked there so I don't know if they cleaned up them before opening or not but there is a chance the grease is constantly reused. One time I was working fryers (which I was always prepping the pizzas) and I had accidentally dropped a wing. I was going to replace it and make a new one but Mike (the owner) said no just put it back on there. Disgusted I gave him a weird look and he said we don't have time for that. As for the staff we all try our best to seem happy and kind but with Mike constantly yelling at us and calling us names we tend to get mad or upset. One time me and another coworker were having a bad day and we had an argument Mike looked at both of us and said if we want to leave we are more than obligated to walk and in that moment I wanted to so bad but I didn't because I was 17 helping pay bills and save for a car. I then downloaded Indeed (job site) looking for a new job. I came across Burger King was hiring so I applied. They me told me they wanted to interview me and I was set my chance to leave. Going back to the whole sick day I earlier mentioned, I constantly kept going to the bathroom to puke. Mike eventually got mad that I was sick and told me to just go home and started yelling. I was so pissed that I literally looked at him and said I won't be fucking back for my job. I went to Burger King asking to do my interview and they said "wait till Sunday because the girl who does the interviews wasn't there" so Sunday I came back and got the job immediately. I started there the next day and Mike called asking if I was coming in for my shift. I very annoyed said "no I found a new job but best of luck and hung up." I have been a loooong time customer of Tasta Pizza going there since High school 25+ years ago but I have noticed lately the quality of food and the friendliness of the staff are both in decline. I've given them many many chances to get better but they don't. My boneless wings were dried out and over cooked and if that's a pound of chicken bites I'd like to weigh myself on that scale... pizza sub was over cooked as well and the girl behind the counter covered in tattoos was less then happy I was there ordering food. We just ordered a few subs for our roadtrip. We went to pick up and I barely was acknowledged by the woman behind the counter. Besides the subs we bought some adult drinks and some chips. I left and remembered I didn't have water for my little guy. I took his clean cup and ran back in to ask for some water and asked the man behind the counter if we could put some water in it. His response was priceless, "We don't have water," he says. I say, "you don't have tap water?" He says, "NO, I only have bottled water." "I told him I would just go to the bathroom to fill it up." Are you kidding me? If I didn't just run in without my purse, and wasn't talked to like I was stealing something, I maybe would have purchased his $1.99 bottle of water. Stopped in on the evening of Friday 4/29 about 9:00pm. Ordered a turkey & capacola sub. The guy behind the register asked if I wanted it toasted. I said yes, just toast the bun, he said we toast the bun, meat, & cheese. I repeated my request to just toast the bun, I was then told "we don't do that". Really, you refuse to not put the cheese and meat on the bun before you toast it? I was asking for less labor, and I didn't want a hot sub. We promptly put down our menus and left. It's a shame, the new location is nice, however not accommodating a simple customer request lost us as customers. My father Placed an order online the total came to 29.96$ so that is what my dad gave me to go get our order I went in an attempted to pay the owner argued with me and told me that the total was 35 and some change so I showed her the confirmation email sent to my father clearly stating the total of 29.96 and she told me that my father must have done something wrong and that I needed to pay the total she has provided of over 35$ my dad called and expressed his concern and questioned why they didn't call them and let him know that the price had changed as she claimed there was a glitch on the computer she was also very rude to my father so eventually we just said that we didn't want the pizza after being publicly yelled at by the business owner for their business's error. she said that we were still responsible for the money. The 17 inch toasted Assorted Sub is the way to go! A LOT of food for an extremely fair price. Pizza and wings are very respectable as well. We only get to go to the area about once a year but the majority of the staff still remembers our faces and are always friendly. This place has grade B food at best and the staff are rude. We stopped in for pizza on our way to work went to our table then the counter and placed our order. What appeared to be the owner softly talked to the counter waiter - we thought she was asking her to clean off our table as it had crumbs etc on it. But no - told us we couldn't have our coffee in the restaurant and said we had to take it out. This is not a coffee shop and thought this was a bit aggressive. Then we figured part of this out - no tap water available only bottled water. I am a business owner and am all for turning a profit but this was ridiculous. I politely responded to the owner that this could impact us returning here. I really don't like leaving bad reviews (especially about small locally owned businesses) but I felt I had to tonight. Besides not being checked on through the whole meal, even though the server had plenty of time to chat with another table (there were only three tables total), the food quality was poor. The loaded fries had a very off flavor (as in the cheese or bacon were bad) and the chicken finger salad was actually a single chicken finger (if that) cut into extremely small slivers and thrown on top of a side salad plate size of shredded lettuce. I almost sent it back thinking it couldn't be the right thing. We also couldn't order water for the table (bottles only) which is just strange. The pizza was really greasy (although the flavor was fine) and the best thing on the table were the wings (old dad seasoning). None of us had been there before, and maybe it was an off night, but with so many pizza places to go to in town we wouldn't go back or recommend it. read more
