All around, sushi was good, and seemed to be Japanese ran which was a surprise, and that is good! Service was very good! Ambiance was kinda cute, nothing great, but okay. It is close by, so we will go again.

Seriously outdated prices on their website. Restaurants need to make even a little effort to keep websites fresh. I chose to visit because prices seemed reasonable. The Sushi Deluxe on the website was listed at $15.95. Actually price upon arrival was $24.95. Sushi was mediocre. Maybe it was an off night but fix your damn website.

Nice little neighborhood sushi place. Looks authentic. Hard to find a menu newer than 3 years on yelp so I'm posting pictuees of it.

Dinner combo- sesame chicken and sushi, includes rice and salad.

The food at Tashiro is always excellent. It's a local established restaurant located in a small strip mall with lots of good parking. It's right across the street from the Terrace Theaters so it's a good pre-show spot. Sometimes there's a wait but 6 pm is generally a good time. They have a very active sushi bar which has a fair amount of seats. Give it a try.

Adorable restaurant with delicious sushi! I dined with a friend, and was pleasantly greeted and sat by our server, who was helpful with my questions about the menu. The ambiance is very casual. You can sit in a standard table or you can sit in front of the chefs as they prepare the sushi. The layout is quaint and lovely. I started off with shrimp tempura and miso soup, which were great! For my entrees, I got the spicy shrimp sushi and the bakes crab roll. All of the seafood tasted extremely fresh and each bite was delicious. My friend ordered a deluxe sushi plate, which featured an assortment of raw fish and vegetables. Since we were sharing, I tried the salmon and tune, which were amazing! I definitely recommend this adorable restaurant, and hope to return in the near future!

Outstanding! Food was a perfect combination of simple, traditional, fresh Japanese with some Americanized options, but not overkill with everything covered in mayo. Amazing service. We could not believe how friendly, calm, and expedient our waitress was, especially since every table was full. Very kid friendly, but not a deafening noise level of ambience. Unlike some of the other reviews, we were amazed at the price. Easily 30% less than we would have paid at the places we go to in Redondo or on the hill. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. We will certainly be back!

Ambiance: traditional Japanese restaurant in business over decades, a hidden gem in the area, currently open for indoor dining with social distance, three tables setup for outdoor dining as well, ample parking in the plaza Service: both waitresses served the table were so friendly and patient with questions, refilled water tentatively and cleaned the table adequately, and they definitely deserved a big tip Food & Drink: plenty regular menu items and specials off the menu available upon request, the combo sets have the best values and you won't be disappointed for the variety, they use good quality wasabi and the cutting of raw fish is just right Seaweed Salad - *** Seasoned wakame seaweed, complementary mini salad with cucumber Miso Soup - **** well cooked, taste ok, recommend House Salad - *** Green salad w/ house dressing, lettuce and shredded purple cabbage, carrot and red ginger Tempura Assortment - **** Deep fried battered shrimps & vegetables, so crispy and crunchy, and tasted with dipping sauce, recommend Sashimi - **** 2Pcs tuna, 2pcs salmon, 2pcs albacore, so fresh, recommend Nigiri Special - ***** 10 pcs different kinds of cooked or raw fish, tuna, salmon, albacore, scallop, shrimp, unagi, yellowtail, mackerel, snapper, salmon roe, so fresh and tasty, highly recommend Hot Tea - *** bold matcha taste Price: moderate portions, decent quality and reasonable prices, about $30 per person for a fulfilling meal

Pleasant surprise. Was looking for a sushi spot that definitely offered sashimi (avoiding rice for keto) and decided to try this place. Best decision ever! Each sashimi piece was fresh and enjoyable. My partner enjoyed the rolls ordered as well. Service was superb and parking was not an issue. I know I'll be coming back frequently!

Food is meh. Tempura was too greasy, and fish (in sushi) tasted old. Would rather go to Gardena for quality Japanese food.

We wanted to sit at a table, rather than the counter. I learned this place stays open late on the weekends and this is where many restaurant staff come to eat! This place is tiny, yet cozy. Today we decided to revisit the restaurant for old time's sake. Inside, the main wall was repainted with a new mural. The annual LA Marathon posters, pinned by the staff who participated in the events, were also gone. Nonetheless, it retained its traditional izakaya décor with its counter seating alongside some regular tables. The staff were all new but still very courteous and brought the menu and water right away. New items were added but the core dishes remained the same. For this visit, we ordered our regular items and they arrived in 10 minutes: Eboshi Mini Trio with Shio Ramen, Fried Rice and Gyoza: The fried rice was still top notch, with slightly firm texture, not too oily, and pleasantly seasoned. The Shio Ramen with its clear broth was nicely savory. The thin noodles were cooked perfectly, and the chashu pieces were tender. To complement the set, the gyozas with their delicate wraps had nicely burnt bottoms, and flavorful fillings. Champon Ramen: A complex ramen with an assortment of meat, veggies and seafood. There were sliced pork pieces, shrimps, squids, cabbage, onions, snow peas and many more. The clear broth was quite savory and enriched by oil from sauteed ingredients. The noodles had a very nice texture and were a tad al dente. We were amazed that after all these years, the restaurant retained its original taste and flavor. We found out the reason why while exiting the restaurant: The young cook from two decades ago is now running the open kitchen as head chef. Great food and still reasonable prices. It was totally worth revisiting.

We walked in right on time for our reservation (because we're adults who respect the space-time continuum) and were ushered into a booth with "privatey" curtains. I'm not saying they'd hide you from the FBI, but they certainly provided enough cover for us to giggle and navigate stupidly through the menu. You can also order directly to a friendly human too. The atmosphere is colorful, lively, unstuffy, and private enough to enjoy good convo but not awko quiet.
