    Salmon truffle
    Brenda L.

The good: We stumbled upon this place accidentally but I had a hankering for sushi so we were able to try it out! We got 4 sushi rolls from the fresh roll menu. They were made relatively quickly and tasted great. They varied from each other a lot. I loved the lemony sauce in the salmon truffle roll. The Daisy roll had a side salad with delicious dressing and thinly curled carrots. The salmon truffle roll was close to $17 but the others were all under $14. The prices were really fair. I liked how the spicy tuna was wrapped around the tempura in the truffle roll. I also liked that they didn't skimp on wasabi and pickled ginger. The presentation was nice as well. The bad: There's no outside dining option. Some of the slices in the rolls were larger/smaller than others. The interesting: The atmosphere is very casual. The tables inside are mostly for small groups. They do both sushi and Thai food. It seemed that most patrons there had ordered Thai food.

Cucumber salad was meh. Don't bother with this one.

Came here on a Friday in lent. Had the vegetable and shrimp tempura and vegetable egg rolls. They were all fresh and excellent at a fair price. The people that work here are so friendly and attentive. I would say it's more 4.5 stars but I'm rounding up because of their sweet attitude towards their customers.

They're located in a big shopping plaza with lots of parking. Was just looking a nearby convenient place for some quick Asian food. Clean and simple place. It seems like a hybrid Thai/Japanese restaurant since they have both sushi/shashimi and thai food on their menu. Overall quick and good service and decent food, when you're hungry and in a rush.

I got the egg rolls and pad thai with shrimp. The egg rolls were super crispy. The pad thai sauce was well balanced. But, it kinda tasted like that they squeezed some lime in the dish. Service was very friendly and fast.

One of those Thai places that's is so under cover but should be on everyone's to-do list of places to eat!!! It was lunchtime, and I normally don't go into San Pedro, but I'm glad I did!! When I walked in, the hostess was very nice and the place very clean. I took a second to look over the menu and found the spicy tuna on crispy Rice and the Pork Ramen both were full of flavor and a definite must try and must have again. The speed and delivery of the food were excellent and the friendliness of the staff was also excellent! The menu was full of so many other dishes. I will be back to try other dishes...

my family has been coming here for about 6 years now and we're just as obsessed with it as the first time! so many good options on the menu. our favorites are: chowmein, tempura udon, cashew nut, salmon teriyaki, spicy eggplant, and golden cheese! and great sushi!! the workers are always extremely friendly and accommodating, and the ambience is very relaxed. i was told i could choose any place to eat for my birthday and i chose jasmine hana! and i ordered the orange shrimp, which i haven't had in years, and it was absolutely delicious! 10/10 best thai/sushi place we've ever had.

Coconut Chicken Soup ( Tom Kah ) with Mushrooms, lemon grass and Lime was sensational ! Drunken Noodles without Chiles or Bell Peppers was still tasty. and really a comfort food, having a slight sweet flavor from the Noodles and the perfectly cooked Carrots. Service was very accommodating, paying close attention to all that requested as well as what we asked to omit. They also took care with timing of the courses in our meal. Relaxed and quiet atmosphere was very pleasant. Many other offerings looked very good, so we're eager to return !

We wanted to sit at a table, rather than the counter. I learned this place stays open late on the weekends and this is where many restaurant staff come to eat! This place is tiny, yet cozy. The tables are placed a bit close, but you still have privacy. She shared the gyoza which was crispy on the outside and flavorful inside. One friend ordered the yakisoba and I tasted it which was very good, I will order it next time. My other friend ordered the mabo tofu which I also had a chance to taste and I could easily understand why my friend says this dish is her comfort food. I ordered the Tan Tan Ramen and it was so good! I took half home to share with my husband. There are so many other dishes I want to try next time! Free parking on the lot. We had to wait 15 minutes for a table, which was totally ok. because the food was so good! Prices are reasonable too. OH! They have Happy Hour!!!

Today we decided to revisit the restaurant for old time's sake. Inside, the main wall was repainted with a new mural. The annual LA Marathon posters, pinned by the staff who participated in the events, were also gone. Nonetheless, it retained its traditional izakaya décor with its counter seating alongside some regular tables. The staff were all new but still very courteous and brought the menu and water right away. New items were added but the core dishes remained the same. For this visit, we ordered our regular items and they arrived in 10 minutes: Eboshi Mini Trio with Shio Ramen, Fried Rice and Gyoza: The fried rice was still top notch, with slightly firm texture, not too oily, and pleasantly seasoned. The Shio Ramen with its clear broth was nicely savory. The thin noodles were cooked perfectly, and the chashu pieces were tender. To complement the set, the gyozas with their delicate wraps had nicely burnt bottoms, and flavorful fillings. Champon Ramen: A complex ramen with an assortment of meat, veggies and seafood. There were sliced pork pieces, shrimps, squids, cabbage, onions, snow peas and many more. The clear broth was quite savory and enriched by oil from sauteed ingredients. The noodles had a very nice texture and were a tad al dente. We were amazed that after all these years, the restaurant retained its original taste and flavor. We found out the reason why while exiting the restaurant: The young cook from two decades ago is now running the open kitchen as head chef. Great food and still reasonable prices. It was totally worth revisiting.

We walked in when they first opened and was seated immediately. Ordered the Koi Ramen, no, not made from koi fish, but a pork and chicken bone broth. Also ordered a side of Karaage Chicken, Gyoza, and white rice. The food came pretty quick, piping hot, and freshly prepared. The karaage chicken was a decent sized serving, and was lightly glazed in a garlic soy sauce, very good! The gyoza was good and seemed house made, not the typical previously frozen deal that many places serve, but I could be mistaken. The ramen was really tasty! The broth has like a foamy top and was very flavorful! The chasiu was a nice slice, and a very well made 1/2 ramen egg. The noodles were cooked perfectly. Today I was there with my emotional support animal and so I asked to eat outside like we usually do in the summer (they have in the past provided service outside, they even have tables) The lady couldn't even bother to sit me outside and just told me to order at the counter. I obliged even though I was worried about leaving my pet in distress outside while I order (so I was already anxious) I order quickly just ordering the essentials knowing that I may order extra food as items would come like the fried rice. Instead l left! They don't need my business! I was told that I had to pay now and I said no I don't want take out I want service and eat it here. She said if I wanted to eat outside that I should pay now. The bill was already 34 for ramen, side of kimchi and garlic and a beer. Didn't even order the flavor egg. I have no problem paying but are you serious, this is new. It was rude and disrespectful and not welcoming. So I walked back to my place. Dropped of my pet and drove 10 minutes to Hakata Ramen, far more superior with better service. Mind you today theres farmers market and people looking for yummy food to eat. Truly a wasted opportunity on a patron that pays handsomely for good food. I will never return and never order take out again. In this day in age when businesses are closing everywhere and where most don't go out to eat anymore this was such a stupid move to make on their behalf. The ambiance is casual since it's within the food court. You order from a kiosk, then receive a buzzer (fair warning -- it's super loud and doesn't shut off ), so if you end up going shopping, waiting for your food - be forewarned. That said, the food comes out quickly - within 15 minutes, which is great. Then, just find a seat within the food court. There's a water station within the food court (if you want water), or you can purchase drinks at the kiosk, OR just walk in the market beforehand to grab a drink. We tried the Premium Black Garlic Ramen, and it was excellent. The broth was rich, creamy, and full of flavor, easily my favorite. We also had the Premium Spicy Ramen, which was also good, but I preferred the black garlic because of that extra creaminess. The difference between the premium and non-premium is that you get a whole seasoned egg, nori (seaweed), and extra meat. They also provide free spice (where the utensils are) if you want your ramen to be spicy. We also got the mini chashu rice bowl - and for the price...it's a generous portion and honestly filling enough to be a meal on its own (although you're only able to buy this with a ramen purchase). This is also great, if you have kids and they do not want to eat ramen. Overall, it was great ramen with super-fast service.
