Came here for a group work dinner. The table that they put our larger party at was a high top in the bar which wasn't the most comfortable for a larger group/ party for a sit down dinner. We order a collection of appetizers and with the narrow high top counter it was a bit awkward with placement of share plates and the appetizer plates. We ordered the Gmabler (shishito peppers), cauliflower for appetizers-- unfortunately everything was very bland. For meals, the favorites were the pizza and the shrimp. Decor is chic, service & food ok, seating not the greatest.
We recently stayed at the Talking Stick Casino Resort and enjoyed our food and service at this in casino restaurant. The food quality, taste and portions were good and the martini was great. The 4 Stars is because the restaurant doesn't live up to the ambiance it's showcased as. It's a nice restaurant and nice decor but it's missing the view and atmosphere described.
Beautiful restaurant and phenomenal service! Really some of the best service I've had in a long time. The Mezze Platter was a work of art! Not sure how many vegetables were on the board, but there were a lot. Some were cooked, some raw and the hummus and baba ganoush were delicious. Highly recommend!
We went to Tash to grab a quick bite of food and drinks before the Blues Traveler concert that was taking place on property. We didn't have a reservation so we tried to grab seats at the bar. Unfortunately they were all taken when we arrived so we ended up sitting on their outside patio off the bar. Once the misters turned on and with the shades down the heat wasn't too bad. Service was quick! We ordered a round of Greyhounds to drink, Calamari, and an Uno and Due pizza. The Calamari came out over cooked and didn't like the breading. I did enjoy the Marinara al Limone sauce it was served with. Had a little spice to it. I ended up dipping the pizza crust in the marinara. The Uno pizza was good, loved the roasted vegetables on it and the Due was good with the mozzarella. The restaurant inside is visually pretty and open with a great view of the mountains. I would like to come back and dine inside for dinner because the menu had a lot of things I would like to try.
My husband and I were going to see the blues travelers in concert with our friends at talking stick, so we stopped in to grab a bite to eat at Tash before the concert. Tash opened at 5, we arrived around 515 and their bar was already full. We sat on their outside patio. It was hot out but once they turned on the misters and kept the shades down it was bearable. We shared their calamari to start. The calamari was overcooked and very chewy. Not sure id want to order this again. The marinara el limone on the side was very good. The guys split the Due pizza- artisan pepperoni, house-made fennel sausage, red sauce, fresh mozzarella, they loved it. My friend and I spit their Uno pizza. The last time I was there, I had their Uno pizza, it was a all mushroom pizza. The Uno pizza now changed to foraged mushroom, red onion, garlic, kale, roasted tomato,fontina, and rosemary. Full of flavor, great pizza, but I still favor the all mushroom Uno. Great food, good service and nice atmosphere. We will be back!
Had dinner here with my husband for a date night. The atmosphere was definitely more casual than I anticipated. The service was good, and they were very attentive and quick. I ordered the Sangria, which I enjoyed. For our appetizer, we got Calamari, which was quite rubbery and chewy. We didn't like the sauce that came with it either. For our main courses, I got the scallops and gnocchi, and my husband got the short ribs with shrimp added. My scallops were good, but the gnocchi was mushy. My husband said his shrimp and sides were good, but the short rib was very fatty and not as tender as he had hoped. Overall, this restaurant was not my favorite, and I wouldn't go out of my way to go back.
Pretty cool place. I liked the vibe there a lot. It's hard to find if you don't go to players services you will never know it's there. We got seats for 8 at the long table in the bar area. It was great seating and you get a good view of the sunset. The only thing was is the service was a little slow. We got seated and did not see a waitress for 10 mins. My brother tried to order another ice tea and the waitress said they ran out. I was like what? I got the short ribs and they were delicious. The smoked ole fashion was really good too. I thought it was odd they don't have side salads there. It was nice they gave me a desert with chocolate bites and whipped cream. Very nice of them. Not too sure if the waitress was trying to make up for the lack of service or not. But either way, still a great place because the ambiance and the vibe there. I will come again next t time I am back around here.
This restaurant is super cute and provided a lovely dining experience. Beautiful views and the DJ gave the place a nice vibe. Dined here during the sunset which was beautiful. I ordered the crispy salmon salad which was awesome. The purple haze Nick tails was refreshing. Highly recommend
Food is great and very consistent, we always get the cauliflower head - it's delicious everytime! All of the ingredients are fresh and love all of their sauces. The ambiance is trendy and pretty, lots of ops for a nice backdrop. Great patio area for a happy hour with apps. We had disappointing experience last wkend for our group of 9 ppl for my bday, they had a mishap with our table and others not leaving so we ended up eating in bar area. All in all, food is great, cool experience/ambiance, I'd go check it out!
Mediterranean restaurant located upstairs in Talking Stick. It has indoor and outdoor seating with beautiful mountain views. They were short staffed so service was incredibly slow. However the food was delicious except for the calamari. It was overcooked making tough & rubbery. It has potential because the slaw it was served over & aioli on it were both excellent. I'd definitely give it a second try.
Don't come here if you're looking for Mediterranean food. The ambiance was decent, but the food was disappointing. The menu is very limited and, despite advertising itself as a Mediterranean restaurant, most of the dishes are Italian or American. Overall, the food was bland. I ordered the cauliflower, which was listed as a chef's choice, and it had almost no flavor. I was expecting something much more flavorful and authentic.
We had a girls night and stopped and had dinner at Tash located in the Talking stick Resort and Casino. Super cute and chill vibe. The food was delicious. I did the salmon but switched ratatouille for mashed potatoes. The service was great the server was friendly and efficient being a Saturday i assumed the wait would be long but. The food was out less than 20 minutes. My friend ordered a drink and the bar ( seemed to be busy) but even that was brought over fast and it was delicious
Follow the rainbow stairs to the 2nd floor. Love the ambiance, if you schedule at sundown you have amazing views. Chef Julio is the mastermind behind these beautiful plated dishes. Packed with so much flavor and unique spices. Give your palate an explosion of satisfaction. It's a must stop by and check out for a nice dinner, business meet, date night, special occasion. You name it they have you covered here at Tash located inside Talking Stick Resort. The service was amazing! Thank you Tom. Thank you Chef Julio for sharing your tasty creations.

A large group of us went to Tash for a work celebration dinner and it was good. I got a bad apple cocktail which was delicious and light. The first drink had a fly in it hiding under the mint leaf but they promptly made me a new one after I let them know. I ordered the scallops with gnocchi and it was good, and the scallops were crispy on the outside which was delicious. The gnocchi was filling but not super heavy. We sat inside at a large table which didn't have purse hooks or seats with backings so I had to hold my purse on my lap the whole time. People in our party also noticed the servers having to ask who got which dish which for an upper end restaurant, they were surprised by. Other than that this was a great experience. read more

Wow what a nice surprise! Went here before seeing a comedy show. Had reservations which of course I recommend always if a restaurant offers them. Tables are not jammed together. Everything is perfectly laid out. Started out with an $18 dollar drink called Running of the Roses. Yes it was overpriced but that is the going price for a drink made with some thought. It was very good. We then had the delicious appetizer of Stracci and Spice. Dear Jesus it was so good. Only thing is they give you only two pieces of famous Nobel bread to go with it. We asked for more and were charged for it. That's why only 4 stars. You get a lot of delectable dip and not enough toasted bread to dip into it. Bummer. I then chose the risotto and my hubby chose scallops and gnocchi. There wasn't any room left for desert but their menu, again, had enough choices for anyone and their personal preferences. The other reason for the 4 stars was our waiter wasn't personable at all. He was polite and efficient but not engaging whatsoever. He reminded me of a deli waiter where they want you to order in a hurry and then get the hell out. I'm not asking for hand holding but my God man, smile! Life is too short! We live clear across valley and don't frequent casinos. But I would go through all that parking hell and drudging through the land of slot machines again just to eat at this hidden gem. What a wonderful dining experience we had here! Service & hospitality were equal parts friendly & competent. This restaurant is inside the Talking Stick Resort & Casino on their top floor. There are various views from many seats inside. We got to see a wild horse & her foal walking by in the grass across the way! We were here for a very early dinner, as we had skipped lunch and were hungry! We shared a pizza and their meatballs! We should have ordered one or the other because it was too much for two of us! Their rustic bread that's served with the meatballs was so delicious! Smoky and crunchy & the perfect pairing with the meatball & marinara! They also surpised me by bringing out a birthday dessert with fun candles! It was a housemade chocolate candy dessert & it was AMAZING (and I'm not crazy for chocolate like everyone else in the world is!) I was told they switch up the birthday desserts though! I'll definitely return anytime I'm at Talking Stick! read more
Tash appears like a model restaurant used in magazine photo shoots. It's beautiful! And the stunning views are a huge plus especially at sunset. Service is outstanding. The staff make sure you're seated in and waited on well. I highly recommend the old fashioned tequila and Mezcal. It was a short show watching it served on the table. It's absolutely delicious. The meatballs were big and tasty. The burata salad definitely tasted fresh and well seasoned. And, another must have would be the crispy chicken. Get your camera ready to capture how cool it is served on your table. They gave us a complimentary dessert which was another treat to the tastebuds. Great dining experience! read more
Was playing at the casino and decided to try this place on a whim for dessert. While walking up the colorful stairway I was hoping to be pleased with the visit. I must say, it did not disappoint. The decor here is absolutely beautiful and the dessert was really good. The service was good as well. Decided to try their cheesecake, glad I did. The presentation was beautiful and the taste was on par. Although I didn't try any of the food, it smelled amazing. Was only here for a short time, but I will surely return for another experience. read more

The food was good. $120+ for three people. One alcoholic drink. The music was a bit louder than needed for dinner crowd. The entertainer, one young woman and a keyboard, was not good at all. We were glad that she took a break for most of our actual eating time. The only really big problem with this place though was the fact that our debit card was charged twice. We didn't realize it until til the next morning. So, before checkout we called the front desk who referred us to the restaurant which doesn't open until long after check-out time, so we were given a number to call and we have to wait until til after we are long gone to speak to someone about the double charge. Hopefully we get it credited back to our account. I will change the star review if we get our money back because at this time, this meal was not worth paying $250 for. read more

Went here with friends for my birthday and had an amazing time. The atmosphere has a cool vibe and looking forward to going back to have drinks on the patio over looking the mountains. The table decided to get a few items to share. We got the calamari, sausage pizza, roasted cauliflower and pasta. All were delicious/ At the end of the meal for my birthday the server Leo had me choose a desert and brought it out with a candle. read more

This review is for the bar area of Tash restaurant, inside of Talking Stick Resort & Casino. It also happens to be my 200th review! Woooo! I get excited for every 100th review I write. This was a nice bar to visit for the 200th review occasion. I had family visiting who enjoy going to casinos so we stopped by Talking Stick. I'm not a big gambler aside from placing bets with my sports book apps. It was Sunday so we figured we could check out the other offerings of the resort and watch some football. We walked around looking for the best spot to watch the games but the TVs were spread out in various areas, near the table games, and some smallish TVs in a bar area on the main floor. Not the best viewing options so we kept walking around. And then I saw the rainbow staircase and I had to go up! As we walked on the steps they changed colors, which I thought was fun. On the 2nd story is the hostess stand for Tash. We had already eaten but wanted to grab a cocktail at the bar. Finally we found the best spot to watch the game...at the Tash bar! Plenty of TVs, easily seen at the bar seats. We enjoyed a signature cocktail- Running of the Rose (Hendricks gin, ketel one grapefruit & rose vodka, cucumber, rosemary & lime), a glass of wine, old fashioned, and Aperol spritz (one of my favorite drinks since having it in Venice, Italy over a decade ago). Drinks were good, but pricey, but it is an upscale casino bar so no surprise. Only "negative" is that it was freezing in there. By the time we left I was pretty cold. Otherwise a beautiful bar area, I saw a nice sunset. The food menu looked good and people next to us had food that smelled good. So I would have eaten if hungry :) read more

Service was slow & unfriendly. Our group sat for more than 10 minutes before we were asked for drink orders. When the waiter brought our plates, they stood at the head of our table & yelled out our orders until someone claimed it. Poor training - I saw the same at other tables. My meal description sounded wonderful, the plate itself was just okay. Artisan pasta was just ordinary spaghetti; the bacon, asparagus were extremely skimpy: and the heirloom tomatoes were the basic cherry variety. After collecting & running credit cards, they were just dumped in the middle of the table without a word. Again, poor training. The wine list is minimal & mediocre. I will not return, nor will the other 7 people at our table. read more

I have been coming to TASH since they opened at Talking Stick and they are a bit of a hidden gem still. They have reworked the menu and now offer even better options. The room is gorgeous!!!! The patio is amazing and has fabulous views (right now the temp poker tent is a bit in the way but will be moved soon). A really cool option for a private event or party. I would ask for a seat at the window where if you are lucky, you can see the wild horses running in the vast open land. FANTASTIC! I really love the calamari (not super fried) and the lamb chops. Calamari is served with a coleslaw that is delish and not too mayonaise-y. Also, love the noble bread which you can request with the cheese plate in lieu of the naan. Flat breads are good too! read more

Tash is not what I expected in a casino restaurant. In stead I got a fine dining tapas fusion restaurant that provided ambrosial cuisine, modern atmosphere, and excellent service. The menu is a mix of tapas and large plates that mix Spanish with other Mediterranean flavors. Not too pricy, but definitely not a casino buffet. Phoenix has no shortage of restaurants and this one is in a casino, but worth the effort. read more
I came here with a group of about 20 people in December and we had a large tasting menu where they brought multiple courses to the center of each of our 3 large tables for sharing. The service was crazy slow to order a drink. I tried several drinks and the only one that I liked was the Signature Cocktail. For $18 a cocktail, I expect artisan delicious cocktails. These drinks were all awful (besides the signature). They tasted like drinks you get at a dive bar. We had the following: mezze, pizza sei, mushroom risotto, charred brussel sprouts, horiatiki salad. ribeye board, herb crusted salmon board, chicken tagine, and assorted desserts. The only thing that was good was the salmon. The ribeye was overcooked and some pieces were burnt. The tagine was just bad. It did not taste like Moroccan tagine. The creme de limao was awful and I don't think anyone ate any of them. I just looked at the menu and I think these were supposed to have strawberries and a wafer on top but I don't think ours had that. The almond fruit tart which I ordered separately from the prefix menu was delicious. read more

We originally planned to go dine elsewhere, but glad my husband & I decided on Tash. The service alone from Tara deserves a great review! She was very helpful and thorough when explaining the menu items to us. I really liked the cauliflower. It's a whole head, fried up and topped with muhammara and tzatziki sauce, it was so good and cooked just perfectly. The Calamari and Piri Piri Shrimp was delicious as well. I tried the Heat Wave free spirit, it was sweeter than I expected and not as spicy as I thought it'd be. Overall, I recommend coming here for some good eats. read more

Very nice restaurant. I was facing the window but it was dark so I saw nothing. It's not the restaurants fault its the desert and no lights. The service was good. I had the short rib that was in a crock that was smoked. They removed top at the table. It's was good. I was not a hugh fan of the sauces but still very tasty. $37 was a decent price but felt it was one of the highest priced menu items. Maybe should have been a little larger. Would probably not go back just because most menu items did not intereste me. read more

Wow highly recommend this restaurant!! Amazing atmosphere, incredible band, and super tasty food I HIGHLY recommend the Brussel sprouts, the meatballs, and the mussels. We also got the osso buco and roasted cauliflower. Both were very good, I'd order again. The only thing we ordered that I wouldn't again is the flatbread... kinda dry and plain. But this post is about all the good things. Very great service and drinks. If you're at talking stick then you should check this place out!!! read more

Really pretty ambiance & views. However, the food & service fell short. The roasted veggie & hummus platter was beautiful and delicious. The short ribs were decent. The service was not that great. We had reservations and were seated at a small table in the bar, yet the other tables never were full during the whole duration. We sat for a very long time after our appetizers and even had to flag down another server for drink and entree orders. We felt service and menu items needs some work. The menu was small. Not sure if we will be back. read more
