Recently, I had a strong desire for pizza, but I was not interested in a doughy crust. Fortunately, I remembered a recommendation from one of my clients about a pizza restaurant that cooks their pizzas in a wood-burning fire oven. This unique cooking method sparked my curiosity. I opted for their 12-inch Margarita pizza, which featured house-made marinara sauce, shredded mozzarella, tomato, fresh mozzarella, and a basil leaf. The flavors were straightforward yet sophisticated. The crust was light and crispy, with a pleasant crunch from the charred spots on the bottom. The sauce had a rich flavor profile, with a subtle sweetness and a mild kick. Overall, I would give this pizza a rating of 8 out of 10. While I enjoy tomatoes, I prefer it when they are dispersed throughout the pizza rather than left whole. Service was great. It was only one server, but attended your every need. The ambiance was calm, and relaxed.

Oh...my....God! I stumbled upon this place and let me tell you, it was the best pizza I've had ever. Period. My husband and I ordered the Tartufo pizza and it was heaven! My daughter trains near the area, so needless to say we will be back!! Excelent and friendly service! Move over, Pizza Bruno - you have serious competition!!!

Great food and service! I didn't get a chance to photograph my other plates but they were also really good. We ordered the mussels marinara, tartufo pasta and shrimp fra diavolo. Oh the only thing that was not great was the bahama mama. It literally just tasted like a coconut slush with no alcohol. It's one of those premix drinks and it tasted good, but for $12 I need to tast the rum. Overall great experience and we will be returning in the future as we are locals.

After spending a day with moms and dads with schoolmates. It was birthday celebration time. This restaurant is different from the ones I had been to. It's super close to home. The attention was good. If I return with my family. There was a good Christmas decoration. Good lighting. We love pasta. Very good flavor. Good portion.

Our server Nia was extremely nice and patient with us and helped us with good recommendations on what to get. The Caprese salad was refreshing but could have used more balsamic. All of the food portions are HUGE so keep that in mind when ordering. House wines were really good as well. All of the food was made fresh to order, will definitely be back for the pasta.

I've been tempted to try this restaurant for a month now but the first time my boyfriend and I went they were too full so they didn't have any seating. Last Sunday we wanted some pizza so we decided to call in and make an order to go; we ordered the 18" pizza with half cheese and sweet corn and the other half, sweet corn, tomatoes and basil, the total was $25 which I felt was a little overpriced, but when they gave me the box, I was surprised on how BIG it was! We were only two but 3/4 people can easily eat from it. Flavors were good, corn definitely gives it a delicious sweet taste so I recommend. Overall, I would order from here again but probably just have the small pizza if we're just two!

Incredible find tucked in Lake Nona. Pizza is incredible at an awesome price, the 12" pizza is what we got and it was enough for left overs! We tried the Tartini Express (meat toppings) and the tartufo (pesto). They were amazing, the tartufo comes with pesto and truffle oil which sounds like a rich pizza but it goes so well together and isn't overwhelming. We also had the garlic knots- all I can say for those is get them, no question! We will be back to take advantage of their awesome specials. Update: I have eaten here about a dozen times now since my last review and I can't state enough how great this shop is! They are super timely, and they call when your food is ready so you know if it's done sooner and isn't sitting around getting soggy. They are building an outdoor seating area that is so cute, they have designated "to-go" spots which is perfect for me, and they just have the best pizza!!

    what i got

If i could give this place a zero i would! I ordered 3 orders of zeppole and they literally try to insult our intelligence and gave you garlic knots dough with nutella, NOT ZEPPOLE!!!!As if we didn't know what a zeppole is. It was impossible to eat, extremely chewy, and it didn't even had sugar. I ordered via uber eats so i noticed it when it got home. They also look COMPLETELY DIFFERENT from what they show in their photo on uber eats versus what I actually got. I'm going to be posting the photos here. I'd avoid this place at all costs! I should've read the reviews before ordering. Never again!

Still 5 stars since I can't bump it up another notch. They have their staples like Chicken Parm, Lasagna, Bolognese, Shrimp Fry Diavolo, Puttanesca , Piccata, Gnocchi, and a variety of delicious pizzas and appetizers. There are too many to name. This restaurant can stand on their own with their standards. Where they stand out is with their specials. The chef here is always innovating and trying some new dishes. I wish I could get a notification of what's on the menu each night. I've had some amazing surprises with the taste and presentation of these dishes. And when they have wedding soup (Christmas time), I definitely make sure I go. I feel like part of the family when I go here. They always recognize us and some of the staff even resembles member of my extended Italian family. They cook better than my Italian grandma (shhhh, don't tell her). They also just opened a sister restaurant (Amalfi) down the block so they're taking over Avalon Park! I've been here a lot and plan on going a lot more. Some of the best Italian food in Orlando! Overall the service and food were 10/10 especially our server Madison who's been there since the beginning and gave us A+ hospitality.

I think sometimes that the lack of service has kept me from eating out much, and then I go to Christinis where the service is too-notch. Great service can make lackluster food taste better but Christinis doesn't have to worry there. Their food is too notch as well. It is old world attentive service, and you can't help but feel special when you go there. Our server this evening was Atilla (sp?) and he has a commanding presence and keeps a close eye on things in an unobtrusive way. It was my birthday and they treated me very well. Okay, let's get to the food. Bread service before the meal was excellent. The bread came with an eggplant sauce that was excellent. They offer butter and olive oil but I say to forego that, and just have the eggplant sauce/dip. We both had the shrimp cocktail, which wasn't the plan. But the shrimp were so large and we hadn't had a shrimp cocktail in a long time, and boy was it good. The shrimp was fresh and as mentioned, very large. We then had a Caesar salad which was good. The cheese was good, but I was surprised that there were no anchovies. We like classic Caesar with anchovies, but the salad was good nonetheless. We split a small portion of the fagottini pasta with pear and Gorgonzola cream sauce. It was the absolute best. It sounds like an odd flavor combo but it works. We both had the veal (their specialty) hubby had the veal picatta. I had the Marsala. Both very good. It came with a polenta fritter that was good, I'm not sure what was inside, it had a nice flavor, maybe pimentos? Even though tiramisu or crème brûlée is usually my go to if having dessert, we went for cannolis for a "lighter" option. Very good as well. The last one the list is ambiance. Beautiful tables, classy elegant restaurant, and tuxedoed waitstaff. Excellent!

My only complaint, and this was super minor, the table space was tight. We had a party of 7 and it felt like we were stacked on top of the other tables.
