Great food and service! I didn't get a chance to photograph my other plates but they were also really good. We ordered the mussels marinara, tartufo pasta and shrimp fra diavolo. Oh the only thing that was not great was the bahama mama. It literally just tasted like a coconut slush with no alcohol. It's one of those premix drinks and it tasted good, but for $12 I need to tast the rum. Overall great experience and we will be returning in the future as we are locals. read more

Our server Nia was extremely nice and patient with us and helped us with good recommendations on what to get. The Caprese salad was refreshing but could have used more balsamic. I've been tempted to try this restaurant for a month now but the first time my boyfriend and I went they were too full so they didn't have any seating. Last Sunday we wanted some pizza so we decided to call in and make an order to go; we ordered the 18" pizza with half cheese and sweet corn and the other half, sweet corn, tomatoes and basil, the total was $25 which I felt was a little overpriced, but when they gave me the box, I was surprised on how BIG it was! We were only two but 3/4 people can easily eat from it. Flavors were good, corn definitely gives it a delicious sweet taste so I recommend. Incredible find tucked in Lake Nona. Pizza is incredible at an awesome price, the 12" pizza is what we got and it was enough for left overs! We tried the Tartini Express (meat toppings) and the tartufo (pesto). They were amazing, the tartufo comes with pesto and truffle oil which sounds like a rich pizza but it goes so well together and isn't overwhelming. We also had the garlic knots- all I can say for those is get them, no question! We will be back to take advantage of their awesome specials. Update: I have eaten here about a dozen times now since my last review and I can't state enough how great this shop is! They are super timely, and they call when your food is ready so you know if it's done sooner and isn't sitting around getting soggy. They are building an outdoor seating area that is so cute, they have designated "to-go" spots which is perfect for me, and they just have the best pizza!! read more

I ordered 3 orders of zeppole and they literally try to insult our intelligence and gave you garlic knots dough with nutella, NOT ZEPPOLE!!!!As if we didn't know what a zeppole is. We came on a Sunday evening as a family. The food was delicious and service was pretty quick. Definitely on the pricier side but we wanted to try a few things to get a good idea of the menu. The only downside is that they don't have a kids menu or didn't let us know if they did and we ended up ordering an adult entree for our two kids to split. I've been here a few times over the past year. The food is underwhelming but the location for me is convenient. At this point,the service is so rude that I would never go here again. I went here with my family on a weekday night. The restaurant was empty except for a couple women at the bar. We waited for service for about 20 minutes while we watched the the employees cackle and laugh at the bar, having a great time. I then approached the bar and asked the bartender if a server may be able to help us. I was met with a snarky "I'll see what I can do" as if I ruined the party. The server greeted us in agitation as if she had something better to do. The service has consistently gone downhill since they opened and now the service is rude and non existent. It appears as if the owners kids are working here and running the place into the ground. Plenty of other places for me to spend my hard earned money at in the area. We won't be back. read more

Stopped in for a first visit last night, Friday, for dinner with another couple. The place is small and seating arrangements can be a challenge. There was one waiter, one cook, and one more server/cook; I think. There were two other tables to be served. We started out with appetizers; mozzarella sticks for us and deep fried calamari for them. The mozzarella sticks were about 1.5' wide by 3.5' long, by .5' thick and they were warm at best; not good. The calamari was over fried and too crisp. Both of us ordered one of their specialty oven pizzas acompañéis with salads. After almost waiting for an hour, we received one pizza. The other pizza was either not ordered or cooked. The pizza was tasty, nothing out of the scope of pizza. We also ordered a bottle of overpriced wine ($30) that also was nothing special. All in all, if you are in a hurry or want to enjoy a special private romantic dinner, maybe this is not it. Don't think we will return. I ordered 1 pizza, 1 lasagna, and 1 caesar salad. This totalled up to $51.97 before delivery tip. It was delivered thru Uber Eats. I accidentally ordered a 2nd order from tartini express a few mins after I placed the initial order. Once I realized the mistake, I cancelled the 2nd order. I was charged a cancellation fee of $20.22 by the restaurant. I just gave them almost $52 for 3 items and they decided to charge me $20 additional for a mistake? Way to treat your neighbors who keep your doors open! I won't make the mistake of ordering from Tartini Express again. read more
