Recently, I had a strong desire for pizza, but I was not interested in a doughy crust. Fortunately, I remembered a recommendation from one of my clients about a pizza restaurant that cooks their pizzas in a wood-burning fire oven. This unique cooking method sparked my curiosity. I opted for their 12-inch Margarita pizza, which featured house-made marinara sauce, shredded mozzarella, tomato, fresh mozzarella, and a basil leaf. The flavors were straightforward yet sophisticated. The crust was light and crispy, with a pleasant crunch from the charred spots on the bottom. The sauce had a rich flavor profile, with a subtle sweetness and a mild kick. Overall, I would give this pizza a rating of 8 out of 10. While I enjoy tomatoes, I prefer it when they are dispersed throughout the pizza rather than left whole. Service was great. It was only one server, but attended your every need. The ambiance was calm, and relaxed.

Oh...my....God! I stumbled upon this place and let me tell you, it was the best pizza I've had ever. Period. My husband and I ordered the Tartufo pizza and it was heaven! My daughter trains near the area, so needless to say we will be back!! Excelent and friendly service! Move over, Pizza Bruno - you have serious competition!!!

Great food and service! I didn't get a chance to photograph my other plates but they were also really good. We ordered the mussels marinara, tartufo pasta and shrimp fra diavolo. Oh the only thing that was not great was the bahama mama. It literally just tasted like a coconut slush with no alcohol. It's one of those premix drinks and it tasted good, but for $12 I need to tast the rum. Overall great experience and we will be returning in the future as we are locals.

After spending a day with moms and dads with schoolmates. It was birthday celebration time. This restaurant is different from the ones I had been to. It's super close to home. The attention was good. If I return with my family. There was a good Christmas decoration. Good lighting. We love pasta. Very good flavor. Good portion.

Our server Nia was extremely nice and patient with us and helped us with good recommendations on what to get. The Caprese salad was refreshing but could have used more balsamic. All of the food portions are HUGE so keep that in mind when ordering. House wines were really good as well. All of the food was made fresh to order, will definitely be back for the pasta.

I've been tempted to try this restaurant for a month now but the first time my boyfriend and I went they were too full so they didn't have any seating. Last Sunday we wanted some pizza so we decided to call in and make an order to go; we ordered the 18" pizza with half cheese and sweet corn and the other half, sweet corn, tomatoes and basil, the total was $25 which I felt was a little overpriced, but when they gave me the box, I was surprised on how BIG it was! We were only two but 3/4 people can easily eat from it. Flavors were good, corn definitely gives it a delicious sweet taste so I recommend. Overall, I would order from here again but probably just have the small pizza if we're just two!

Incredible find tucked in Lake Nona. Pizza is incredible at an awesome price, the 12" pizza is what we got and it was enough for left overs! We tried the Tartini Express (meat toppings) and the tartufo (pesto). They were amazing, the tartufo comes with pesto and truffle oil which sounds like a rich pizza but it goes so well together and isn't overwhelming. We also had the garlic knots- all I can say for those is get them, no question! We will be back to take advantage of their awesome specials. Update: I have eaten here about a dozen times now since my last review and I can't state enough how great this shop is! They are super timely, and they call when your food is ready so you know if it's done sooner and isn't sitting around getting soggy. They are building an outdoor seating area that is so cute, they have designated "to-go" spots which is perfect for me, and they just have the best pizza!!

    what i got

If i could give this place a zero i would! I ordered 3 orders of zeppole and they literally try to insult our intelligence and gave you garlic knots dough with nutella, NOT ZEPPOLE!!!!As if we didn't know what a zeppole is. It was impossible to eat, extremely chewy, and it didn't even had sugar. I ordered via uber eats so i noticed it when it got home. They also look COMPLETELY DIFFERENT from what they show in their photo on uber eats versus what I actually got. I'm going to be posting the photos here. I'd avoid this place at all costs! I should've read the reviews before ordering. Never again!

We ordered a Bacardi and Coke, Old Fashioned, and a cocktail called Heart Beatz. The Bacardi and Old Fashioned tasted normal. The Heart Beatz was a very unique tasting drink, it wasn't a strong drink nor was it weak. It had a very pleasant taste of pomegranate as well, I could've drank these all night long. The restaurant was extremely busy, so I expected a bit of a wait. However, the service was much slower than expected. It took a long time for our food to arrive, and one of the four kids' meals we ordered never came out. After waiting around 45 minutes, instead of apologizing or trying to resolve the issue, the manager approached us and immediately became argumentative about how many kids' meals had been ordered. I wasn't looking for a confrontation--I simply wanted the missing meal. I actually had to stop the conversation and tell him that if he came over just to argue, I wasn't interested. That interaction really left a bad impression. As for the food, it was a mix of highs and lows. The blue crab dip was easily the standout of the meal--rich, creamy, and packed with flavor. It's absolutely worth ordering. The edamame was also well prepared and made for a great appetizer. Unfortunately, the gnocchi was the complete opposite. It arrived ice cold, lacked flavor, and was one of the most disappointing entrées I've had. For roughly $45 between my meal and wine, I expected a much better experience. While I appreciate that they offered a Kids Eat Free promotion, the long wait, missing meal, and poor handling of the situation overshadowed that benefit. The restaurant itself has a sleek, contemporary atmosphere that's great for groups or families, but the lack of attentive service and the manager's approach to customer concerns made the experience far less enjoyable. I hope they've improved since my visit, because the blue crab dip alone deserves recognition, but based on this experience, I wouldn't be in a hurry to return.

There were plenty of people who didn't look even 'business casual' much less the 'dressy' listed here in Yelp. We were seated and got our drink order in ... and waited several minutes. We had already decided on our orders when our server first arrived at the table, bearing menus listing the courses for the prix fixe five course 'Taste of Bacan' menu. (There was also a prix fixe seven course offering, but no menu for it??) We changed our minds and went with the five course offering ... and waited several more minutes for the first course to arrive. (Fortunately, the delays in service ceased after this.) The food was amazing! First up was a Lobster Burrata Tostada, on a little four inch crispy corn tortilla with sweet notes from the passion fruit. Next up was the Florida Snapper, beautifully cooked, with a loose mofongo and fennel shreds, but served on a bed of curry sauce which was too spicy for us. It was at about this point when the Bread Service we added showed up: a good-sized loaf of warm bread, heavily seasoned on top, paired with a chorizo/ricotta spread that I didn't care for. Then the Pork Belly, so soft and delicious. The last entree was the Carne Asada, served medium rare (off-putting to those of us who prefer our meat cooked), but delicious when eaten with the salsa and corn side. We finished up with the Tres Leches cake. I'm not usually a fan of Tres Leches, but this again was superb, contained in a dark chocolate shell, garnished with little chocolate/crispy rice balls. I appreciated that they had zero-proof mocktail options, and tried the El Dorado. I didn't care for it, though, as the drink changed flavors twice as I worked through the layers, and none of them were particularly tasty. Service started out very slow, but improved once the food started coming. My soda was refilled proactively, and the descriptions of the courses were interesting.

The service was incredible to start, but slowly fizzled out as the meal went on. The cadence that goes with a tasting menu went completely out the window as the second half of the course took twice as long as the first half. The wine pairing was exceptional, highly recommend it. Now the real problem, the food. The food was good. A couple items were really good. But honestly nothing was great! There is a lot of potential here, but this place is truly bordering on not being worth the cost. I wanted to have a different experience. In fact, this was the first restaurant we experienced once in town because I'd been waiting. It unfortunately was not worth the wait.
