Here's your review: --- St. Cloud finally has an incredible Italian spot to call its own. Santa Mozzarella took over an old pizza shop and transformed it into something classy and quaint, perfect for an intimate date night or a great spot to bring the whole family for a really good meal. I have been here about three times in the last few months and every visit gets better. The meatballs are by far my favorite. Made with veal, ground beef and sausage and topped with ricotta, they are the softest, most delicious meatballs I have ever had. The beef arancini is also one of the best I have tried anywhere. I have also had the fettuccine Alfredo and the penne alla vodka, both incredibly flavorful. Service has been amazing every time. Our server Hannah was attentive and full of joy, the kind of service that makes the whole experience even better. Now let's talk pizza because IT IS the best in town. The Santa Pepperoni is incredible, loaded with crispy pepperoni cups, fresh mozzarella, basil and a drizzle of hot honey on top. The Meat Lovers is also fantastic with sausage, pepperoni, ham and steak. I genuinely do not want any other pizza in my life after trying these. I am giving this cute little spot five stars because it was worth going back to but I have just one reservation. Santa Mozzarella does the important things very well! The ambiance is small, cozy and nice. That is a positive and the only negative. There are very few tables for an eat in restaurant and no place to wait for your table inside if the four seat bar area is full. We went on a Saturday evening and had about a 25 minute wait, and sat in our car with our friends to wait. The food was great. The menu has pizzas, calzone, and some pasta dishes. We had the burrata appetizer with pesto and olive oil with grilled bread. Delicious! The olive oil was fruity and delicious. We ate it up! Our group opted for the pizza (Santa Pepperoni) which was delicious. The crust was crispy, and seasoned well. The sauce was really flavorful, and the topping was just right. The hot honey on the pizza was not overpowering and it enhanced the salty cupped pepperoni nicely! The calzone was really gooey (in the best possible way!) and delicious. Finally I have to say something about our server, Kia. She was phenomenal. I can't describe how when she came to the table and had to squeeze in to take our order she was almost like a tour guide. She knew the menu, and was very comfortable discussing options. It is difficult to describe just how good she was in this small and noisy restaurant at gaining our attention, and leading us through the process of ordering. We were driving home from the East Coast back to Orlando and finally had the chance to stop in here and grab a Pizza. We called 30 minutes ahead and it was ready around 5 minutes after we arrived, and it was definitely hot and fresh. When we walked in, I was not expecting such a nice dining room. It had a nice elegance, more fancy than pizzeria, smelled very clean, and was decently busy for a mid afternoon Saturday. We only ordered a pizza, the Santa Pepperoni, which met my expectations. Cooked well done without asking, it was extremely crispy. The center had a small flop where the dough was thinner but it didn't take away from anything. They use cup pepperoni which is my preferred style and not too much cheese. Definitely in my top 3 central Florida pizza spots. I wish we had ordered other things as well. The pasta dishes looked spectacular and portions were generous. We will definitely be back when we're in the area. read more

Went on a Monday night, had a pizza and vodka pasta. Everything was good, was seated immediately and server was attentive. The pasta was cooked al dente, which I would've preferred it to be cooked a little longer but that's just a personal preference. Flavor was good! My favorite was the Santa Pepperoni pizza, I got the hot honey on the side and wouldn't change anything about it, it was delicious. I liked that it wasn't soggy at all. This is an opportunity for them to correct their mistakes. Came to the restaurant an hour and 45 minutes before closing did not get our food until 15 minutes until closing. It was so slow being the only person truly sitting down and having something to eat it should not be the slow. As our friends are sitting basically at the bar chitchatting and they receive their food before us as we ordered before them is highly unacceptable. Now let's come to the point that they need correction and that is the biggest issue as someone owned an operated businesses before and my wife's family that came from a side that operated restaurants. They have a very beautiful location and it's very nice inside and well maintained but when you still have people sitting down and eating, you do not put chairs on the table run a vacuum mop, a floor without a wet floor sign spray chemicals on a table that are not properly marked and just as table cleaner does not say what it is and it's splashing when you're spraying the tables on customers that are sitting there. And then begin to clean the restaurant and shut it down when you still customers dining in and the location is still open as they begin to pick up stuff and put it away an hour before closing. And then begin to put chairs on tables vacuum, and then begin to mop this a deters away customers that we have seen ourselves that looked in seeing chairs on table tables they're going to leave and not come in and give you business and then your customers that are sitting down in dining with you now feel rushed and unwelcome. Highly unacceptable. I would never do this to one of my businesses and I would hate to see someone do this all to theirs and catering to their friends and not a new clients that they could feel very welcomed and to keep them coming back. This location is added to my list that I will never return and it's sad because I'm big on food reviews and I am big on encouraging new people to try restaurants I particularly like to go to restaurants during this time of the night, cause it shows the true colors of their employees and how they treat the business. It looks like they will not be keeping their A grade, and they all just continue their routine going back down to a B and play it up and down up and down. So what the takeaways are what they could learn from the situation is do not begin shutting down the restaurants when you have people dining in do not spray chemicals while people are eating and around food do not mop a floor while people are still inside the restaurant cause they can slip and fall and it's just another call to our good friends and your worst enemy Morgan and Morgan. Don't begin running a vacuum as it's loud obnoxious and makes customers feel unwelcome. Asking from across the restaurant or behind the bar, if you need anything instead of coming to the table as well is a sign of respect it was not respectful as cups are empty on the table. You only refill one but not the other and you ask if everything's OK if you need anything from behind a bar instead of coming up to the table and checking on your customers. read more

After watching the viral video of this place, I had to try the pizza. I was super excited because it looked like their pizza was actually going to be crispy. Unfortunately, after waiting an hour for our pizza, granite we did order it well done, the pizza came out. It was barely warm, and there was not a single crisp to it. It tasted like we were eating white bread with cheese on it. We did eat at the location so we did not wait until we get home. If we were to take it home, it would be understanding, but coming out of the kitchen like this was not OK. The meatballs and mozzarella bites were incredible. Absolutely fantastic pizza. The crispiest dough while maintaining fantastic doughy quality at the end. Terrifically flavorful sauce with the choice to add some amazing buffalo/stracciatella cheese! One of the top 3 if not the top pizza places in Orlando. I've been patronizing Santa Mozzarella since they were just a food truck outside a gas station and am so incredibly proud of them opening a store front. My husband and I tried Santa Mozzarella for the first time earlier this week and were blown away by the taste and quality of the pies we ordered. Our favorite was the Santa Pepperoni, which had a slight sweet twist with the drizzled hot honey! The reason I decided to go with a 3/5 rating is for a few reasons: 1. The pizza itself was delicious, but both times we have ordered (in-person and waited there) by the time we drive home which is only 3-4 minutes away, the pizza is already at room temperature somehow. 2. We had tried the pizza here before the renovation and we thought it was average. After seeing a review my husband wanted to try it again and we were not disappointed. We tried the mozzarella bites and the arancini as appetizers. The mozzarella was authentic cheese that when you pulled it, it stretches wonderfully. The arancini was filled with a lot of meat instead of all rice. Then came the pizza. We ordered have cheese, half mushroom. I wanted it well done so the cheese was melted and bubbly. When I picked up the first slice, the bottom was cooked well done and when I folded the slice I could hear the crack. I took one bite and I finally had the flavor that I was use to in Boston. It was the best pizza I have here since moving over 30 years ago. There were bubbles in the cheese and the cheese was evenly melted across the entire pie. We got to talk to the owner and I said my only disappointment was they did not have eggplant on the menu. Service here was very attentive and they even helped my husband with his walker. What happened? We ordered a couple of months ago and it was fantastic. Ordered again and it wasn't very good. We asked for the Santa Pepperoni and it was not the same as what we had previously. There was barely any sauce, there was no stracciatella, no basil or parmesan, no honey on the pizza (we asked for more on the side and a half filled plastic container is all we got), and the pepperoni was not charred like before (that's my favorite way to have them). The take out pizzas were too big for the boxes, so they were folded over in the box: not such a big deal but annoying because those pieces were messed up. We also ordered garlic knots which weren't even baked all the way through, and were doughy inside. read more
