Extremely disappointed with this place. I have been ordering pizza for a while and since they change the company to deliver the pizza, the service has been worst every time. Two days ago they delivered the pizza and now, which is my girls' birthday, they don't want to do it. First, it was because the amount of pizza that I ordered(too much apparently), then because I was no longer inside the ratio of distance. Turns out when you call in an order and yell Polo in the phone right after they say Marco's Pizza, they don't find it nearly as amusing as I do. The service here feels like a fast food Pizza Hut / Domino's type of place. Quick order at quick-serve. 4 big box Pizza chain Marcos has a lot of different topping options to choose from more so than the other giant Pizza Taylors. Not disappointed with the food I received at all however for all the hype surrounding the quick growing Marcos chain I kind of expected something good. The pizza I've received from Marcos isn't bad, it just doesn't stand out. It feels like a generic Pizza. The bottom line is I would return but I would search for coupons. I was just passing through town on my way to Micanopy. I ordered a veggie pizza and small order of wings that I ate in the car with my wife. the pizza was bland and soggy from the canned mushrooms and black olives. No peppers whatsoever. They covered the whole thing fresh 1/2" thick slices of tomatoes. I had asked for well done because I like some crunch in the crust but I might as well had asked for soft dough. The wings were the tiniest wings I've ever seen. They must have been from baby chickens. I felt a knot in my stomach after the second slice and started feeling gassy almost immediately. I burped like hell for the rest of the night. Absolute worst pizza ever. I've had better at Little Caesar for $5. The person who helped me was nice. The kitchen was buzzing with employees handling a busy Friday evening call in order rush but the dining room was abandone. at least 5 customers picked up while I was waiting so I don't know if they like it or it's some good deal they have. My family orders Marco's for convenience. Their app is easy to use but I doubt we will ever order delivery from them again. This is the second time that our pizza was delivered like this. Decent place for pizza, it was a little oily for my taste. But it was good. Not NY style pizza, the crust was thick. They make your pizza fresh so it took some time to get it. They can also add flavoring to your crust which was also good. They seemed pretty busy. Lots of people were picking up food. We would like to try some of their sandwiches next time. Our go to pizza place is closed on Sundays so we tried Marcos even after reading the negative reviews, glad we did. It is nothing special but the food was good, we ordered a pepp pizza, meatball sub and wings, everything was spot on and the delivery time said 41 minutes, they were at the door in less than 20 minutes, food was so hot we had to let it cool down!
