The last two dive trips that we have done with them were great and we had a wonderful time. I have done approximately 20 dives with this company. However, this last time the guides were so disconnected. Michael and Dololly in the shop were so helpful but as soon as we got on the boat we were basically on our own. The only person that was even remotely helpful was Marco, who we had dove with before. He seemed to be the only guide that knew how to man the boat. Riley was absolutely clueless and rude. She was the guide that stayed on the boat to help us on/off the boat and while my mother was trying to get back on, she let go of her without warning leading to her falling and gashing open her leg. When I asked my mom what happened to her leg Riley snidely commented well she fell on the boat. Then while she was helping me get on the boat she grabbed my air gauge causing me to almost fall as well. One of the guides, didn't catch his name, was drinking alcohol on the boat before and after the dive while certifying a 10 year old boy. I don't understand how this is allowed. Furthermore, our guide left us in the middle of the dive. He eventually showed up but did not seem able to navigate under water as the previous guides had. Which was very nerve wracking considering the currents we were moving into. He also did not help with getting on and off of the boat for the dives. He was very disengaged with our group and did not seem to want to even be a guide. Overall, a bad experience sadly as we have enjoyed our previous trips with them. It seems their guides have become much less knowledgeable and supportive than they used to be. Most dive guides are personable and want to share their dive knowledge, however this group seems to be more about just getting it done.

You need to bring the main things, gear or rent, food, drink, sunscreen, tip for crew. Crew was extremely great and knowledgeable. Nice boat and well equipped to take out for snorkeling, felt like the middle of nowhere, but once in the water you could see a lot underneath. It is not great for those who stay on top because you look down from 13-15' of water so things are down a bit and you will have to dive to get a closer look. Crew let us stay out the whole time even though most of the other passengers gave up after a brief swim. I went on a different trip into Biscayne National Park where the water was 3-8' and I saw much more. I felt like the bottom of the water at this location was too deep to enjoy as much and was disturbed with less life. Overall a GOOD trip with experienced crew and a great time.

I've only used this shop twice to fill my tanks. I have had to go back each time because the first…read moretime they didn't fill my tanks properly. Sent me back with about 3200 PSI in my HP100 tanks. The second time around I asked for 32% nitrox. I checked them at the store with their analyzer and they gave me 34% and 41%. When I questioned them about it they said their analyzer was broken but they were certain the tanks were filled properly with 32%. I checked them at home with my analyzer and they gave me 34% and 41%. So far I cannot say anything good about this shop.

The visibility is pretty good if you choose the right time of year and best of all its not too deep for you amateur divers. I personally want to be cremated when I die and I want a memorial in the ocean that where i belong. In all honesty this is a great dive for divers of all levels. Located 3.25 miles east of Key Biscayne in Miami, Florida - GPS coordinates N25º 42.036', W80º 05.409' - Neptune Memorial ReefTM is the largest man-made reef ever conceived and, when complete, will have transformed over 16 acres of barren ocean floor. The Neptune Memorial Reef project is environmentally sound and meets the strict guidelines and permitting of the EPA, DERM, NOAA, Florida Fish and Wildlife and the Army Corps of Engineers. And the Neptune Memorial Reef is also a member of the Green Burial Council. Our completed first phase is a classical re-creation of the Lost City, 40 feet under the sea. These structures have produced a marine habitat to promote coral and marine organism's growth while creating the ultimate 'Green Burial' opportunity. A recent marine study conducted by the Department of Environmental Resource Management concluded that marine life around the Reef has gone from the zero to thousands in two years.
