There were enough people to create a lively atmosphere, but not enough that we had to wait to play games. At the bar, I ordered a cosmopolitan, but the bartender offered me a vodka cranberry instead. The drink was refreshing, but the ice gave it that watered down taste. Halfway through the night I lost my phone and only realised when my date and I were in the car. When we returned to the bar the bartender had it with him. I love that I didn't have to go looking for it. There's also a nice shuffle puck table, which we used a lot. It was so much fun! Although we'd eaten elsewhere, I really wanted to try their Cheddar Jalapeño Cornbread Muffin. At $2 each a true bargain. It was accompanied by butter and honey, and was absolutely delish. The dry cider I was drinking complemented it well. Nice place to hang. As for food, I've only tried the spicy Seattle dog, and I would get it again. The hot dog is cut up & shaped weird (see photo), but it tastes wonderful. I heard the fried chicken is great so I'll try that next time. Also, I was excited to see that they had buckeyes on the menu, but they didn't have any when we visited. Inside is spacious and woodsy, & outside there is an enjoyable patio. Servers are nice and seem happy to be there, which always elevates my experience anywhere.
