Nice, clean target. I am always in and out of this Target...always many check out lines open...and cashiers very friendly.

Well run, excellent customer service throughout and at the food court; Starbucks (though they get busy for whatever reason- there's 2 other Starbucks in the same shopping center and it baffles me how many customers seem to swarm here...must be the quality of service from what I've seen, though!) was clean here unlike some of the other tar-bucks I've visited. Typically i am a huge fan of target i love it. But this one avoide it if you can!!! I did a gift card that had a balance of under $10 i requested that it be cashed out. the girl said she couldn't but her supervisor could. her supervisor told me she couldn't do it unless i purchased something. i was very nice and told her i didn't need anything and so i wouldn't be purchasing anything but that state law requires a gift card under $10 to be cashed out. she told me she wouldn't do it and i could take up with her store manager. Her store Manager Kevin came to help me. he asked what i needed and told him i wanted to cash out my gift card since it was under $10. he looked at the recipet and said "umm i see where this is going, no." I said excuse me its under $10. he asked if i made a purchase today and i told him no i didn't anything but that has no bearing on what i'm requesting. he said yeah no i won't be cashing it out for you today. i told him state law requires him to. he continued to be condisending, hostle, disrespectful, and just plain rude. when i told him he can't make his own rules and that the law is the law he told me "I'm sure there is a loop hole to the law" i explained to him i work in retail there is no loop hole that the law says if its under $10 you must cash it out. to which the supervisor chick responded it says on the back right here not redeemable for cash. to wich i showed her had she finished reading the sentence it says except where prohibited by law and that we happen to be in a state with a law that prohibits it. she left. He told me he wouldn't be doing it and proceeded to walk away. I requested corporates number and his name. I called corporate as soon as i got to my car and the girl was shocked! she told me that was absolutly not policy and that yes he was required to cash it. unfortunatly i was so upset by this manager that i didn't feel comfortable going back so she could speak with him. so she gave me a ref # i plan to either go back and speak with a different manager tomorrow or my husband will go back on my behalf. I say avoide this store! especially this manager who deserves to be fired. read more

Messy store and the poorly trained, overzealous and very intrusive loss prevention agents make for an uncomfortable store experience for the average honest shopper who likes to browse and comparison shop. This is the store closest to me but I don't go here usually and I was reminded why when I went in to return a box of diapers that my mother in law bought that weren't the right ones. I used about 10 of the diapers out of 140 total because I had no choice and they just didn't work for my daughter. I tried to return them without a receipt because I didn't buy them my mother in law did and it was a nightmare. I just wanted to exchange for the right ones that is all. The lady gave me a hard time so I asked for the manager her name started with a C I think and they were giving me dirty looks and made me feel like I was a crook trying to do something wrong. Well anyway....will never shop at this target again. I went to the other target on Adams which I usually drive farther to go to and had no problems what so ever returning them. They didn't even ask questions. They happily returned them and gave me a gift card. They need to look into a friendlier staff! read more

This store has no customer service whatsoever. Bought gift cards here, paid for it. After I gave them out to friends, they all show 0 balances. Store manager says there is nothing he can do, and need to file a police report. That's not the right way to treat customers. Don't ever shop at this store!!!!! read more

Last Tuesday I shopped at this Target store. That night I arrived at home (2 hours from this store) and noticed MULTIPLE mistakes on my receipt. (how does one charge for 3 of an item when I purchased 1?) I am normally really good about checking my receipt as I have been overcharged at this store in the past. (I use to live down the street) I immediately called this store and spoke with the manager, Erin. At first she told me to come in and they would sort it out, however I do not live close by and this is a major inconvenience. She told me she would have Nick sort this out tomorrow (Wednesday) and get back to me and I could be credited at a closer store once they checked the cameras. It is now Monday, almost a week later and I have not received a call back. I called the store again today, asking for Erin. She apologized and told me Nick forgot and would get back to me within a few hours. Almost six hours later I have yet to hear from anyone. I am extremely disappointed with the customer service at this location. Also, I find it funny that the checker was more interested in signing me up for a red card (she asked TWICE) that she couldn't ring up the few items I purchased properly. read more

It didn't take me long to find a negative review on Yelp directed at the Target store manager 'Kevin'. This too is a negative review directed at him. I was literally dumbfounded by the way he interacted with me in front of my 10 year old daughter. We waited one hour to be 'helped' by the store manager only to be blown off within seconds of him arriving. It was such a surreal experience that I tried to make sense of it however I could. I kept hoping that my daughter would not be negatively affected by the encounter. I've never been treated so unfairly by any salesperson or manager in my life. I complained to Target corporate but I just got the usual form letter reply. I am very glad that there is a forum such as yelp to voice our experiences. read more

I would award this Target store no stars. I purchased a computer monitor that didn't work. I returned it promptly with the receipt, the box, and all of its contents. I paid by check. The store claimed my check hadn't cleared after six days (they lied). I went to the bank for evidence it had cleared several days prior. I returned the merchandise again, with the receipt, and evidence that the check had cleared, They refused a refund. Since I am on crutches with an injury it is extremely difficult for me to return such merchandise. I left the merchandise in the store, with the receipt, but photographed it before I left as proof that I had left it at the store. I am out $206. They refuse to give me my money. They are trying to get me to accept a gift card. I do not normally shop at Target for anything so a gift card is absolutely useless to me. However, I am short of cash and need money. I am a senior citizen on social security. The store manager tried to grab my camera and physically tried to detain me as I exited the store. It was scary. Sioux read more

i don't usually shop in this store and it had been quite a while since I'd been there. What a change. At 10:30 a.m., the place was messy with clothes on the floor, items helter-skelter on the shelves, and small appliance boxes that had been opened and looked like returns. This store used to be very clean and well-organized, but no doubt due to a change in management and/or company philosophy, has become the opposite (I call it the KMart syndrome). No quarrel with the employees I dealt with. Needless to say, I won't go there again. read more

Normally I love Target. It is my one stop shop no matter the location. I always regret going to this location. They never have enough lanes open, I have been overcharged for items on ad several times and had to either go to another Target or email corporate to get a refund. This location seems to run out of basics frequently as well. Parking lot is a disaster too. Last night I stupidly pulled off the freeway and thought I'd just run in...ugh in line forever. Soft lines clearance needs to be sized. Needs to have more cashiers at pick hours. Team members try to be very helpful, when available.

I love Target in general but I have to say for a retail store the customer service here is horrible. I'm giving it 2 stars for value and convenience but knocking the other 3 stars because of my recent experience here. Purchased an item expecting the free gift that it advertised, came to check out to find the guy at the register had no idea what I was talking about nor did he do anything to help me find out. (Kudos to him for offerring a discount off of my purchase but this wasnt what I wanted.) Went to customer service to inquire about it and they said they didn't know either and responded with "oh it's only while supplies last." I would be okay with that if they actually confirmed that there were no more free gifts. I purchased the item to get the free gift so this was a bit annoying. On top of that the guy at the register and the higher ups at customer service both muttered the words "I don't know" in their explanations to me. Really?? Being in the retail industry I understand how important customer service is and I didn't see it at this branch. read more

I loved this target...it's the one I grew up with before moving! Always brings back feelings of nostalgia..like waking up on Christmas morning :) now they completely changed the layout and it doesn't feel the same anymore..but it still gets 4 stars because of how happy it used to make me feel going to this one. read more

Went to target this morning to get office supplies and a weight scale to start my nutritional therapist business. Thanks to the ladies labeling this morning at 8:50 intentionally blocking my view of the journals while I was obviously shopping I decided to leave! I will gladly shop somewhere else where the workers aren't so rude! read more

This Target is nice and clean. Parking is also nice here. Also on the many occasions that I have been here, there is a staff member asking if I needed anything. How nice! One time I got my cart stolen here. I found the items of my cart unloaded throughout the aisle. It's not the stores fault. Too bad weirdos are everywhere including this nice Target store. read more

THE SNACK BAR SUCKS!!!!! Just came from here and we wanted pizza.. They said they don't have they're pizzas done till 10:30-11. We left right after and went to the one in Westminster mall and they had pizzas already ready!! This is the third or fourth time we came here and they didn't have crap done! read more

Went to buy a few Knox Rose pieces at this location because they were sold out elsewhere. Arrived at 10:30pm w/store closing at 11pm. Asked dressing room attendant Diana at 10:45pm if I could try on clothes. She responded "dressing room is closed". Asked why. Said "store is closing in 15 minutes". Said I didn't want to buy wrong sizes. Diana told me "6 pieces is the limit". I said "so can I go try these pieces on?" Diana called "her manager" so as "not to get in trouble" and said to her manager "I have a customer here with more than 6 pieces and the dressing room is closed and she wants to try them on quickly because she doesn't have much time." Diana however had NO CLUE how many pieces I had since she hadn't counted them, could not see them from behind her counter, and lied to her 'so-called manager' about WHY I was short on time - because HER STORE WAS CLOSING. I could hear her manager replying negatively in the phone, so asked her to call manager. Went to front of store customer service to ask for help. Woman at door said she was "the lead on duty in charge" and then proceeded to interrupt me repeatedly after asking me "how she could help.' I tried to explain that I wanted to try on the pieces and was running out of time to do so, and that I didn't like the snotty attitude and misstatements of the millienial chick Diana. She proceeded to interrupt me, so I dumped the clothes at the door and walked out. F Target. I will return the rest of my purchases there tomorrow. Take the $1500 loss Target and kiss my wallet. FYI, the other customers who have complained on Yelp about employees in this store lying to their faces just to avoid doing any work is absolutely correct. I've been to this store a couple of times and this isn't the first time this kind of BS has happened there. Corporate needs to fix this place. read more

This store is wonderful, especially the grocery store section. The food is fresh and there is a good selection. A secret gem for us senior citizens on a limited income. They have good prices. I also like the toiletries and hardware sections. Excellent store. Good parking and friendly staff. A good place to shop. read more

The only real criticism I have of this store is their banker's hours ( they open at 8am). As a result, I end up going to the Walmart down the street at Beach and Talbert (open at 7am), or the Walmart up the street at Beach and Trask (open 24 hours) quite a bit. This Target should open at 7am, but since they do not, I usually drive the extra couple miles down to Walmart. Not everyone is a banker. read more

I walked out empty handed from the Westminster, California Target after waiting in a very long line for almost 30 minutes to buy two small items. (I intended on buying a few more items, but sadly the shelves that should have contained these items were endlessly empty.) They have 16 registers, but yet only TWO open. Neither of which was en express lane. So, I stood their patiently watching the 10 people in front of me and 12 people behind me wait as well as well as the 20 plus customers in the only other line wait, I finally got fed up and left. There were several Target employees standing around the registers chatting...None of those employees seemed to notice or care about the customers and the two long lines. This is not my first experience in a Target with multiple registers and only a few open, but this was by far the worst. I would like to ask Target management why they have so many registers taking up space when they never seem to utilize more than a few at a time? Oh, and one more thing...Target Management, when are you going to come up with an explanation as to why your systems allowed credit card information and PIN number information to millions of customers to be compromised? read more

This review is for the starbucks barista at Target.I went there last night around April 27 at 8:41PM to get my mocha frappe and and some maternity shopping.I told the barista that i want decaf one,when he gave me my drink i ask him to confirm if its decaf and he told me that i didnt ordered decaf.I said that i cant drink it because Im pregnant,he was so mad and told me that he didnt see that Iam pregnant eventhough that my stomach is sticking out right in front of him while Iam paying and when Iam getting my drink.Such a liar,i insist that I wont get that drink because thats not what I ordered.He ended up throwing my drink in the trash can made a new drink again while throwing/dragging everything like the blender,spoon and gave my drink in a very insulting voice.I didnt drink my mocha frappe who knows if he really used a decaf coffee in it!This is the first time ever that somebody treated me like this! read more
