As my local target I am glad u can always find something here. The lines are always LONG. Usually all self checkout only. Which can be a headache. Today I went to look for holiday decor but the shelves were pretty empty. Although the shelves were empty the store was not messy like many other Targets are. I usually experience great customer service at this location. The price of Target items is always a bit questionable in my opinion. I don't think you can really complain though because Target is truly an experience. I can say I swish this location offered more variety like other locations in the Virginia area that seem to offer more high end products. You can always find something you "need" at Target. So no real complaints other than the lines with cashiers are always closed. read more

I have been frequenting this for years but today is the last time. The cashier Bartholomew or something with a B (his name tag was blurred) was very rude!! First he told my mother she should have put the divider because she is making his job harder.... Mind you our orders were clearly and visibly separated. Then he slams all my items as he is ringing them. When I show him my target app to pay he tells me aggressively you need to push skip first but he was so angry I was confused so I ask him to repeat himself. He says it again loudly. I tell him he is too aggressive about his job and he says he doesn't care it doesn't matter. Just disrespectful. As a grown man you should be ashamed. read more

Target is a discount retailer that also holds a Starbucks and a pharmacy. They offer clothing, shoes, jewelry, electronics, toys/games, beauty products, furniture, as well as groceries and household items. I usually come here to check out their bargain bins (ranging from $1 to $5), and while it can be a hot mess in terms of organization, this particular location seems to have more of a selection than the usual, especially in terms of seasonal items. I found some cute greeting cards that were pretty cute! I'd avoid going to the Starbucks in this store, as the cashiers are not trained to do various types of transactions, such as the gift cards. Also, their card reader is always breaking down, so you would have to use cash most of the time. It is 2:37pm and I am in the Target in Waldorf the line is wrapped around the store due to self service check out that done accept cash! So I'm stuck in a regular checkout line which is okay but however it's only one checkout line open in the entire store! What irritates me the most is that this is the closet target next to me other than laplata and brandywine which is hella traffic to get to! I think that this is absurd! There are workers walking about looking at the lines but not opening any lines up to service the people! I'm confused as to how this will work and I only have 3 items... something needs to be done or they need to hire more people or put the people that are waking around in the target uniform on a register! Then someone came over from exchanges and return and refuses to turn her light on so that she can get a line smh Waldorf Target something needs to be done here cause this Target ain't Targeting anymore! read more

I'm from out of state, but the few times i have been here visiting family it's my go to place to pick up everything i need. They consistently seems to be well stocked, organized and clean. My main reason for reviewing is to recognize the excellent customer service i received from Jeri. She was incredibly polite, professional, and helpful. Definitely an asset to this store. read more

This is my go to Target. Its usually pretty tidy and organized. Sometimes there are items that get low but typically it will get restocked pretty quickly. My favorite sections are the grooming section and home section. They have all these hair products to choose from and a decent makeup section. The home section is modern and they change the theme every few weeks to a month or so. read more

The store is usually stocked with the things I need. However, customer service is pretty much non-existent. When you call they act as if they can't hear you and there is static or just answer the phone and then completely ignore you until you hang up. The employees are rude as hell. read more

Meh describes it perfectly. Some of the staff are really nice; most ignore you or won't make eye contact when you ask for help--good thing I don't need help--or go to check out. They have expanded into grocery stuff in the past couple of years, so that's kind of nice. The selection isn't great, but it's not bad. Not happy about the sudden lack of Choxie products in the candy/chocolate section--I don't know if it's just this location that doesn't carry it anymore, but I'm now hunting for Choxie. Also, for having so damn many checkout stands, there's usually only 2 open at any time, and generally not one of the express lanes. Those I'd like to use, since I don't buy much in one go and hate having to stand behind the family of seven screaming kids with three carts of stuff. Maybe they should start using self-check-outs, because it would make getting through the store so much easier. read more

Went here on a Saturday evening! It was extremely quiet in here! Very nice and very clean! The location is kind of tucked away and off the beating path! However, the staff was very friendly! May have to make this my Target of choice when I am on that side of town which is pretty often! read more

I love this target and all the nice stuff they have! If I need something to wear, I can always find something here. They have a lot of clearance items too which is always great! Staff can be annoying when it gets close to closing. But other than that I like this place! read more

The closest Target to me is the worst one ever! Often filthy, understocked and well that's enough for me! Actually left the store the other day to go to Walmart! Need to get it together! Making the Brandywine store my top choice (La Plata second) even though they are further away...the waldorf target is literally 6 minutes from my door but the convenience is not worth it. I love this location. Lot's of variety when it comes to items. Big location, good customer service and great prices.

Besides the fact that I love target, the cashier process is always a quick defaulted conversation. Today was different. Our cashier, Joseph, was very funny, personable, and professional. I placed my dog food, a 384927493 lb bag on the belt to be rung up and Joseph said "Who put this on here? When you're in this lane I do all the lifting and work." I give 5 stars to the cashier, Alexis. I went early on Saturday morning to pick up a last minute gift. I wanted to beat the holiday rush. Alexis was wonderful. I've worked in retail before so I am aware of the customer service standards. Alexis greeted me before I got to the registers and walked me to her line to check out. She helped me load my items on and off the belt. She was extremely friendly and very professional. I wish I had staff working for me that were more like her. read more

Wow. I brought back a return and was dreading this long line in front of customer service. How shocked and surprised I was at how fast the line moved and when it was my turn it took less than 2 minutes to process my return. I posted this on my Facebook page and added that I felt a bit guilty for not letting people go in front if me as I did not expect to get through the process so quickly. Oh, and the floor staff were extremely helpful in finding items I couldn't find. They weren't avoiding customers but were on the floor to help as well as their other responsibilities. It was a great shopping experience On Christmas Eve that could have otherwise been a very taxing day. Thank you target staff. read more

Horrible experience purchasing a Samsung phone, and Sprint service. Target cellphone service (located in electronic department) was pitiful. Had a very difficult time return phone after having phone for 10 days, well within the 14 day period. Only thing worst than working with Target on the cell phone return was dealing with Sprint. Very long story. Bottom line I'll never purchase a cell phone from Target again. And I'll never sign-up with Sprint. read more
