I do not always like how Target merchandises products, but that was not the case with this store. Aisles and product spacing / stock were nice, and the color / decor was more tasteful than I normally encounter at Target. Store had Dubai chocolates, and adorable crafted Christmas cards in stock, Plus a very nice Ulta Beauty department, and a busy Starbucks. Lots of Cashiers on duty, and self checkouts. Easy parking, and a person was staffed at the entrance to help guide customers. Picked up some cleaning supplies, and shopped for an iPad case though they had limited choices so this was instead purchased online. Overall a pleasant experience. read more

I just had a really enjoyable shopping experience Target. I thought the shelves were well kept, the prices were very reasonable, and the aisles were very passable in terms of not being too narrow. But, I want to make special mention of two things that I thought were great. First, many of the storage areas/cases in the frozen food section had lights that were dimmed and went on as you approached them. Nice conservation idea and one that I have not seen in the United States before. And, the young woman at the check out -- her name was Esme -- was absolutely lovely in terms of being welcoming, interested in making sure I had a good shopping experience, and being a good conversationalist. Nicely done Esme. Definitely made me wanted to visit the store again soon. read more

What can improve? Everything I'm sorry but what Happened?? It's a mess everywhere target has been the place for everything all these years, NOW it's all outa style this place was welcoming for teens what happened? It was suppose to be a quick turn around to the pharmacy section to get an allergy meds for my granddaughter. But guess what??? Does that really happen at all in real life? How can you pass a sale especially when the dollar bins are where you can't miss it waving at you !!! Well found a $3 body scrubber, grabbed it and accompanied me throughout the store. The store according to my daughter in law was recently renovated. I thought it just newly opened cause the store shined so bright and had that lively ambience look that I felt upon entering the store. It was a quick in-and-out since I knew everything I needed was gonna be in one area. But then I got overwhelmed by how unusually big this Target is! (I'm from SoCal, so we don't have a Target store with this scale! At least, not one that I know of!) But luckily (and immediately) found the items I needed. Wow, this place is REALLY organized. The manager wasn't very helpful a bearded man with long mustache. It's a mess in there you can't find things easily. I was shopping for someone with a baby and needed several things., Baby diapers we're all the way by menswear instead of being close to baby items. Hmmm... the Target employees are particularly happy and helpful today... and I am trying to figure out why! Don't get me wrong, given a chance I would pick Target over the other option any day... but to have no less than 4 Target Employees greet me as I am walking briskly by hunting down toiletries and a water filter was surprisingly unnerving. This Target is actually very nice. It's up-to-date and clean. Actually it's bigger than most Targets I'm accustomed to (everything's bigger in Texas). The parking is huge. The first few rows are for curbside pickups. One thing, the bathroom floor was extremely dirty. read more

The inside of this store is decent, but the pick up service is terrible. I'm missing 5 items from my order, and instead they gave me a bag from someone else's order. Why is the plus sized women section so small? Also, looked like a hot mess. There was a clearance clothes section that was horrendous! I think I saw it swallow some small children. This is the only Target in Waco, so I'm very thankful for this location. They have everything you need, but I find that they're slower to mark down their inventory and are slower with getting new merchandise out on the shelves. I appreciate that their grocery section is pretty comprehensive, so I can actually get something productive done before I peruse every single aisle in this store. read more

Went in search for a cozy coupe today and a young lady there went out of her way to look in the back room to search after this toy.Few mins later she came with it, completely made my day since this was a gift. Disappointed in this target!! Huge store, but their food selection isn't that great. 1 section door for frozen meals and like 3 for ice creams and desserts? No wonder Texas is the fattest state!! They have awesome baby and toddler clearance but the store really lacks organization. They had clearance pajamas for infants and toddlers next to the formula. Formula isn't even near the clothes section! I did get 3 pairs of pajamas for my son for $2 each but I got lucky that I found them. They also had toddler boys clearance items mixed in the regular boys section. I didn't understand that. I'm also guessing that the manager isn't the brightest. The power went out 3 times when we were shopping and the manager came over the walkie talkies and demanded that all associates report up front and get a flashlight. It was pitch black inside the store!! How in the world did she expect employees to go up front if they couldn't even see?! read more

I love, love, love Target!!! First off, this store is always neat and lives up to Target standards when it comes to a fun shopping experience. They have cute clothes, good-cheap- selection on DVDs and Blurays, an ever changing dollar section, good toys, awesome art supplies/office supplies selection, and of course awesome stuff for the home. Only section lacking is the food. You can get your basics here, but that's about it. Prices are cheap for the most part, some things are little high-brow for a place like Waco. They also have a little restaurant, if you can call it that. They've got Pizza Hut items, along with your usual hot dog stand stuff. The staff is usually friendly. The only bad experience I had with a staff member was, I think, a manager. For a manager, you'd think he'd be more friendly, but he was pretty short with me and others. I didn't see his name. Very clean, open, large store. They have a few great sales a year do be sure to check those out. Customer service is helpful when the lines are full they'll sometimes check you out there. They have everything that larger targets do, their workers are fairly clueless in where certain items are, and if they even carry them. read more

I made an online purchase for a Graco travel system on November 8th of this year. This item was to be picked up at the target store on bosque Blvd in Waco Texas on November 20th. When the delivery date came I received an email stating that my order would be delayed, I found this strange because it had almost been two weeks from when I ordered the item. Friday, the 23rd came, my order still did not arrive and at this time my sister's baby was born three days before! I called customer service and was told that the 24th was in fact the last day and that my order would arrive on Saturday. When my order still had not arrived on Saturday I called customer service once again where I was put on hold several times as they attempted to figure out where my order was. When the representative came back on the line, they simply asked if I would like to cancel the order. I explained to the representative that it was never my intention to cancel anything, I just wanted my item to be delivered to the store I chose in a reasonable amount of time. The representative then repeated for the second time that I would receive an email when the item was ready to be picked up, but the representative was unable to give me a date when the item would be delivered to this target location. I did receive an apology from the representative, however, I do not think that will suffice. This extreme incompetence is unacceptable and I will be sure to warn people to make online purchases elsewhere. read more

Online shopping coming (other company named Estes Express). Estes Express send wrong items, in torn up boxes, on the wrong day... Consistently. They have done this twice to me and botched another two scheduled pickups and deliveries. Target needs to drop these guys ASAP. I LOVE Target, but our Waco Target is consistently out of everything. Empty shelves and only available sizes being off-sizes are regular occurrences here. Unsure if they can't keep up with the Baylor demand or what, but in my experience this is an issue year-round. My husband and I have driven to the Temple Target on multiple occasions to get what we need, knowing our own is out of stock. Such a bummer. Still love Target! They would not honor their own Price Match Guarantee - worst part is we tried to get them to match the price on their own website. It wasn't even a competitors website. They claimed it was because the part was out of stock online after the fact. While we were in the store the website said it was instock. It only went out of stock by the time the Manager finally talked to me. No where on the Price Match Guarantee page on their site does it say they don't match their own website if it is out of stock online. Why even have a guarantee if you don't stand behind it. Hate to say it but went to WalMart and they price match instantly with no question. read more

I usually have the best experiences at this Target but today I approached a lady for some help and received some of the worst customer service EVER. I was honestly surprised Target allows such behavior from an employee. I believe her name was Ariel.. she was just standing there doing nothing so I figured I'd ask her for help but she didn't listen to me the first few times I asked her something and when she finally decided to answer my question she stared at me like she was disgusted or full of hate. I like this Target a lot. The cashiers and customer service are friendly, and the stock people are friendly and polite. So polite! We went there the other night, were checking out and I realized I had a coupon for Cottonelle TP, but didn't want to hold up the line or go back and get it. The cashier hopped into action, got someone to run and get me what I needed. The only reason why I didn't give it five stars is because it's a smaller, less well stocked store, and frequently the shelves are picked through. I went to the Thanksgiving day Black Friday / Thursday day sale ( very first one right). I stand at the back of the line for an hour. I came to get one TV , 40 in for 119.00 dollars . Then as we move inside( we meaning all the folks in line that I talk with).i run around looking for that TV only to find that tickets were given out to people ahead of me which I knew nothing about. Then as I leave the store I 'm approach by this young man that heard me complain about the ticket that I didn't get and TV I couldn't get to say that for 20 dollars that he would sell me one of his because it wasn't using to 2 he had left.i didn't have but 9 dollars on me on cash which wasn't enough which is uncle/ dad yelled out to him and told him he'll get 20 from some of his he boys.So no more Black Friday/Thursday sales at target for me read more
