This review is mainly about the pharmacy at this store. Even thought I've used this pharmacy since the store was built (25 or 30 years ago), it is rare they do not screw something up as I pick up two or three scrips each month. Here is the latest stupid thing they have done...
I called in a scrip refill to this store on their automated phone system last Saturday. Knowing it would require an ok for refills from my doctors office, I knew it would be Monday afternoon before I could see it if the doctor's office OKed the refills and to see if it was ready to be picked up. I called the auto phone system to check on the status of the refill and they syetem told me no scrip was in the system under the number I gave them. I knew I had punched in the correct number.
I ordered the same scrip number again and called the next day about the same time. Again, no scrip showing under the number I gave to be refilled.
I was agravated the system was not working correctly, so I drove up to the store to order the refill. I asked the young girl at the first order/drop off window if their phone system was broken. No, she said. She checked my name and told me the new scrip was ready at the next pick up window to the left. I asked how it could be ready when their system told me on order for me exhisted. Oh, she says, when we get an ok from the doctors office on the new refill, the system automatatly deleats the order I placed. I said how stupid that was. How so she asked? Well, it says call the system to check the status of your scrip order - and then tells me no order exist. It should say order filled - come get it. She evedently did not have enough sense to understand what i said. So I move to the pick up window. I left a written complaint on the H.E.B. web page and have yet to here from them.
