I don't get the hate on this target. It's by far the best one in the valley. I have two kids, trust me I've been to them all. So much parking everywhere and it's never packed. We call it the "secret target" because it's off the beaten path. In my line of work, I constantly need props. Not "proper recognition" (although, hey, yeah, that would be nice) but stoopid items that decorate a set for some stooopid photo shoot that I've got to put together around new face peeling creams or body sloughing treatment. Give me somewhere I can go 2 minutes from the studio, that's cheap, got almost anything I need and is not f'ing insane to deal with. That's right, this is one of THE BEST Targets on the planet. I've been going here for years, and the parking lot doesn't even reach 1/2 full during holidays. Everything is on the shelves. The floors are clean. The staff, friendly. Flash. Give me cute t-shirts under $20. I just can't get enough of Target now that I found one that's 100% better than it's ghetto sister in Culver City. I find I do all my Target shopping either during my prop runs or just during a lunch break. I hope this 'secret' Target store does enough business to stay open indefinitely without being discovered. I'd recently begun to lament my periodic excursions to Target, but buying all the various supplies required to run a house hold is impractical at any other store. The thought of venturing out on a lovely, rainy Saturday afternoon to fight the traffic at the Target just north of Burbank on Sepulveda was a horrendously offensive idea. And the traffic is really only the start of my irritation with that store's narrow, crowded aisles and policy of removing any cart left in a walk way for longer than nine seconds. Rather than write a note that said "I'M STILL SHOPPING DO NOT REMOVE MY CART" I investigated the rumor that another Target existed in my local area. I was overjoyed to see the perfect five star record that other Yelpers had created for this location. And now I'm happy to report that all the good things they are saying are indeed true. I had a rather disturbing experience at this location this past Sunday. I had been waiting in line a long time when this guy asked if it was OK for him to go ahead of me because he had a gallon of milk. I told him no it wasn't OK but what did he care as I had only been waiting in line for 20 minutes. Turns out he was an employee at this store. I had told the cashier about the situation and the clerk smirked and then laughed. I asked what was so funny and he wouldn't answer. I then asked "Do you know who pays your salary? I do. And so do all the other customers who shop here." He continued to smirk. The cashier did not take the coupon I had for a BOGO and he bagged my purchases all in one bag albeit I had brought several to lighten my load. I asked to speak with a manager. I waited for several minutes and when one didn't make an entrance, I went home. I sent a complaint to Target via email. The response I received from Asha was less than desirable. S/he wouldn't do anything unless they had my home address. I replied what did asking for my address have anything to do with my situation? Since I received no response, I inquired again. This is probably the best located Target ever. Really who the hell needs to go to the other Targets if you Live in this area?? If you do come here go through Kester, best option you will avoid all the Nasty traffic on Van Nuys Blvd or Sepulveda. This is not a scary Target at all well at least not for me. Workers there just do there thing. Lines are not crazy they are usually very well stocked and parking is jolly (very good). This store made me love Target all over again, really. Pain free. A hidden Target! I love this Target because of its "tucked away" location. Located by random industrial looking businesses. This Target is probably the only Target I have been to with little lines and less crowds. There is always lots of parking! I mean, it's Target. I LOVE target. This location has a huge parking lot, Starbucks inside, and I usually find what I am looking for and then some. I just snagged some Champion workout gear for buy-one-get-one 50% off and we always find good deals on home decor. I never thought I'd ever utter this but I love Target(Kester and Raymer). I am even stupider for not realizing how close it has been to my home. (Saticoy and Van Nuys) First the bad: The prices are a few cents higher than the Wal-Mart on Roscoe and Van Nuys. Unless you're on the brink of being homeless isn't that big of a deal. If you're on Metro, it can be a tad hard to get to. The good: Ample Parking! So much so that you can do donuts safely on the other side. :) DON'T THOUGH! :P Lines are very rare, you're in and out lightning quick. The store is very clean. Easy to navigate and beyond orderly. The staff is uber friendly, they'll ask you how you've been, if you need any help and would you like to apply for a Target card? Rare to be hassled outside and beyond safe. You can find clothes, food, sports equipment, toys, music, movies, automotive, nutrition, and a StarHut. This is probably my favorite market because of convenience, time saving, and affordability. If it could match Wal-Mart prices, it'd get the coveted five stars but will have to settle for four. Enjoy this hidden treasure. :) read more

I slipped & fell in this store on June 7, 2018 and all Target has done via their insurance carrier is ignore my claim! The incident was reported to the store manager immediately & thankfully as I layed on the floor other shoppers came to my aid. The report was never filed as required by Target policy & 2 1/2 months later I'm STILL waiting for a resolution! I bruised my shin, hurt my left knee & had a bruise on my right arm & yet I'm still being given the runaround! Shame on Target for making me feel as though "I" did something wrong!!! read more

Target is probably one of my favorite places to go for ANYTHING! However, some targets just so happen to be better than others. With that being said this Target is good for somethings but not everything. I like this Target because like many other Yelpers have said before, it's hidden and away from the main streets which attracts less customers. Since they don't attract a high volume of customers they don't staff for a high volume of customers. The checkout lanes here are beyond slow. They normally have two lanes open which is extremely shocking because they are always long. This Target is always clean compared to other Targets in the valley which makes shopping here a bit more appealing. Things are easier to find and a bit more organized. However, I've noticed for most items they seem to have a decent amount of things in stock but nothing I ever need. :( It's a smaller location so maybe they skimp out on items that aren't in high demand in this area. For instance, I am always looking for dress clothes and always find myself disgusted at this location because it's always bare. Overall Clean, not so crowded, slow lines and kinda small. Weigh your options and your needs when debating which Target to go to. They aren't all the same. :) read more

5 stars alone just for the drive-up feature! If you haven't taken advantage of this, you're missing out. It's sooo convenient to be able to order items online or through the app and then have them brought out to your car. The process is so seamless and they're usually really, really quick with order fulfillment (Walmart, Best Buy, etc. don't even compare). Typically 10-15 mins after placing the order, I receive an email/text letting me know my items are ready to be picked up. After pulling into the drive-up spots and checking in on the app, someone is to my car within a few minutes and I'm off again. Love, love, love this feature so much! read more

This Target is my regular Target and my one discrepancy is that it has really, really filthy bathrooms every time I'm here. I almost vomited because I walked in the stall to see a shitty diaper(not wrapped) smashed into the feminine products disposal trashcans which are always overflowing with..you guessed it, feminine products. There's always wet toilet paper on the floor and all kinds of excremental debris on the toilet. When you walk in it's like walking into a porto potty mixed with rotten fish. How is this acceptable?? I've seen bars at 4 am in the Lower East Side of Manhattan with cleaner bathrooms then this. The employees at check out are usually very nice and happy, I'm sure it's because they all somehow get away with never cleaning that filth hole of a bathroom. side note they are always out of things I need for it seems weeks at a time. Literally the best target staff ever. I was looking for a bts album as usual and I couldn't find it so I ran into an employee who was kind in of your direct me to the tablet to find the product name. He then went on a hunt for the album and came back with not 1 but 2 albums. He went above and beyond to help me, other employees would simply not go out of their way to find an album. Shout out to the cashier too, she was really nice and was also an Army she priced matched my album and I saved a couple bucks :) overall I love this target and will be coming back again, It was the store I grew up going to and will continue to be a customer here!! read more

Fairly clean and never too crowded. This location is pretty hidden with a large parking lot. They are well stocked and have plenty of workers so the lines don't get insane. When I'm in the valley, I definitely choose this location over the other ones read more

Returns are so easy! We purchased a Leap Pad 2 bundle pack at the Target in Signal Hall (about 1hr from our house). We got home and realized it had the cartridges missing. Apparently, Someone had stolen the games at Target and put the box back on the shelf. We were so disillusioned when we discovered the missing games. The next day we went to this target to return the item. They asked why we are returning it and I told them. They didn't even open the box to verify my claim of the missing games; they refunded the full amount back on my AMEX and apologized and told me to have a good day. Why is this location a surprise to many Yelpers?! Ok, maybe because I grew up knowing this placed was FedCo, then eventually becoming Target. Besides that...time to get a NEW PHONE!!! I saw the Target Ad online around 1am, Sunday for a phone that was on-sale that I had my eye since this company released their new program. So, I was going to get my phone right at opening time. I arrived around 8:20am to a big lot. As I can remember as a little kid, FedCo's multilevel parking garage. Now most of the lot is pretty much empty spaces. Just beware that the Holidays are just around the corner and it may seem like a small lot. When I walked in, I noticed that they have a new grocery section. I remember a couple years ago that it used to be the Electronics Section, but it was relocated on the north side instead of the east side. As I was walking toward the electronics section, some guy was getting a Philips product and the the Target Employee had problem trying to get the magnetic seal off the product. I know the customer was a little irritated implying that the employee didn't know how to use the magnetic detach device. I thought and argument was about to erupt right at opening bell. As I witnessed the small snuffle, I found the Virgin Mobile section just next to the Electronics cashier. I didn't know that they do all the Wireless Services. I was under the impression it was just prepaid phones, but they sold plans as well. THERE IT WAS..The LG Rumor Touch. I had an eye on it since Virgin had those ads on my e-mail. The original price was $149.99, but since I saw the ad online, the price was $129.99. Not a bad deal. I could use the savings on eBay for my charger and other accessories. The phone was locked in a special hanger and I had to wait after the guy was ringing up the sale for the Philips product. After him was a fairly tall guy, just a few inches taller me who rode that nice speed bike. He was in full Motorcycle Gear. He was getting....Halo Reach. Damn, that game alone is pricey at $49.99. Geez. However, another problem occurred. Since the game was Rated M for Mature, you need a supervisor code to allow the purchase.Ugh...Another wait...Ugh After he was done, I got my LG Rumor Touch off the rack. The Virgin Mobile LG Rumor Touch will activate right when the cashier scans it. It won't work if it is stolen without being purchased. You can purchase your plan right at the counter or you can do it online which I did. My total was $142.66 with $20 saved. I took the $40 Plan for 1200 Minutes and Unlimited Everything. Great thing about it is...NO CONTRACT and I didn't quite leave Sprint since Virgin Mobile uses the same network. Like many have said, this location is hidden, but I have known about this place for awhile. I avoid the Sepulveda location since its hard to get out of there and its a different vibe especially with CostCo nearby. I have to say goodbye to my Palm Treo today and get in touch with the touchscreen community. I was supposed to rate it average because of the wait, but I did save a lot of money for the long run, so they get an extra star. Hidden Target in the middle of a random neighborhood. Not in the best area, so don't veer off the property line. Overall, a lot less crowded than most Targets, but their wage rate per working hour must be good for the store manager's bonus, as the front lanes are never staffed appropriately. Target in Van NUYS is one of the best places to get a good deal. This place has many special sales from clothes to appliances to electronics to toys. Every department has a good deal for sure. Compared to other stores like Walmart this place is pretty organized. Not messy at all. Like Ross! I personally come here when I buy electronics. I've purchased our PlayStation here and also our flat screen TVS. I was actually surprise to see how all the flat screen TVS have dropped in PRICE TREMENDOUSLY!! $1,500 flat screens now cut down to half!! Wow!! I feel like I can buy ten at once now!! They also have a fishing department maybe also called the sports department? I think.. Man.. They have so many poles for cheap also. Not bad quality kinds but strong quality kinds. I've decided to buy a pole. I'll submit a pic when I get one for sure. In addition, there's a STARBUCKS IN THE DRONT DOOR OR SAY THE EXIT!! Either or works. Cool thing.. This Target I call the "hidden" Target as it's in Raymer street and not in a main street or shopping center where you would see most Targets. It's clean and easy to find stuff. It's a great Target if you are looking for stuff you have a hard time finding at other Target locations. One thing that sucks about this one is if you have the Shopkick app, you don't get your walk in kickbucks at this location. :( read more

I went to this target to do a return on two books with my receipt and i waited about 5 minutes in line. The cashiers were quickly and friendly. This is a no-brainer, more or less, for two reasons: 1) it's my neighborhood Target, and 2) PARKING. Lots and lots of parking. It's in kind of an industrial area, so there's no other retail around and thusly has a huge surface parking lot that could probably never be filled up unless it was Black Friday and every other Target in the Valley was shut down. Even then? Not so sure it would be full. While the Target on Sepulveda/Hatteras is...adequate, the parking structure can be a pain to get around when even medium traffic is afoot, so this is always my first try when heading to a Target location. I would simply recommend to go before noon on weekends, as it seems that every family within 5 miles comes here for a family day out and then just kind of...hangs out. In the middle of aisles. Every aisle. I love Target, a lot, but I never think of it as a family attraction. There are only so many times you can lounge around on Isaac Mizrahi college furnishing display models. read more

I went to purchase an item just to find out there's a release date of 7/28. I was okay with that but then I came back looking for something else only to find the same item again on the floor. I feel they should have honored the purchase even if it's before the release date since it was on the floor for sale again but still they would not sell the item. The first time that happened management was supposed to notify their employees but obviously they didn't because these items are still being put on the floor when they're not supposed to. Very disappointing and frustrating. This particular item is only sold at Walmart and Target stores but this particular item here in Los Angeles is only at Target at the moment so it's very frustrating when it's there on the floor but they don't sell it. read more

I went there searching for new products from Native (deodorant, now soaps and body washes) and was amazed to find a spacious, easily-navigated area for all things personal grooming. It's Target. But it's a hidden Target. One fateful day about a year ago, my GPS took me here instead of the location I'd usually go to in this area just a couple miles up the street on Sepulveda. That location has a horrible parking structure and tons of people at all hours of the day. This one is just the opposite, very quiet, not many people and a big parking lot. I'm surprised they haven't gone out of business, there only seems to be a handful of customers any time I've been, even weekends. But they must be doing ok cause last time I was there they were remodeling to build a new grocery section, just like the Sepulveda one recently added. The only negative is it's in a somewhat seedy area, next to the train tracks and surrounded by industrial buildings. One time coming out of the store a kid tried to sell me drugs on the way to my car, but that seems to be an isolated incident. I'll take that over the congestion of the Sepulveda location any day. read more

I love that this Target is so secluded. It also is a bit scary if you are unfamiliar with the area. If you DO know ther area- you're even more fearful. One time there was a fight that broke out- they were knocking things over while I was looking for my one-piece suit with my son who was 10 mo. old at the time. I like this Target because its fairly close and somehow "hidden" from Van Nuys Blvd, which makes it a blind spot for all the dirty people roaming van nuys.
