I would like to give a shout out and praise to vanessa in guest services. i unfortunately didn't get the other 2 girls names that helped me but i want to talk about their character. for a while ive been disabled and can't carry more than 10lbs so i am forced to ask for help if my family is not with me. i was trying to exchange an item over that 10lb limit but you're average person can carry. but im not able to at all. the girls working at guest services today around 10:30 were happy to help bring the item to guest services and their reaction was very compassionate. i've had to ask for help like this at other business's and the employees reactions have been clearly annoyed but like i said i can't carry over 10lbs due to a sever knee injury awaiting surgery. i normally do pick up to avoid this but bc this was an exchange issue i had to come inside. but the girls were very helpful! vanessa even helped me bring the new item back to my car and was very helpful and understanding and very patient. this is one of my few experience where i received genuine kindness and they were happy to help. i appreciate everything that was done for me and hope this location continues to have people like them and appreciates them back :) read more

So, this store is totally fine. It's remodeled nicely and typically stocked well. The problem is the "Buy Online" option. The employees go through the entire line of returns, then walk over to help the Online Pick Up which seems completely counterintuitive. I've bought online to save time, yet ended up spending more time in the pick up line than I would've just pulling the item off the shelf and going through standard check out. This is the third time this has happened. Not great. read more

This one seemed picked over and not cleaned up. The hats were all messy and most were on the floor. A few were damaged. The selection of hair barrettes weren't great either. The bathroom was kinda gross and dirty. More so than my usual Target in North Hollywood. Plenty of parking though. read more

I usually took care of all my Target shopping at the one on Sepulveda and Burbank until I discovered this super secret Target. All your Targets are pretty much standard: it's busy, it's crowded, and parking is a nightmare. But all your problems seem to fade away at this location. I can always find parking right by the entrance (even on the weekends) in the HUGE lot and since there are less people here, you can comfortably shop for all your needs without feeling like you're in a stampede. And best of all, you don't have to stand in line for 20 minutes. So if you're in the neighborhood, you should definitely try to get your shopping done here. That is, if you can find it :) read more

I didn't find exactly what I was looking for but that had nothing to do with Target....I was a day too late. They were already stocking the back to school items. Doh! This target is a hidden gym for those who live in the valley. Almost everybody frequents the target on sepulveda because it's right in front of Costco so I like to come to this location because it is never as busy here as it is over there. Case in point, I don't have to deal with annoying crowds of people here to get my shopping done and it also certainly means that on black Friday I don't have to wake up super early to get their door buster deals because they're always still available by the time I come in. The staff is very nice but that is to be expected at any target. It has a grocery and pharmacy shop so if you want one your one stop shop, then this is the place for you. read more

I placed an online order for pick up- it took awhile to find the mirror that I ordered- as in almost 30 mins. Then, Jessica Amaya helped us out together with Kenn. I was surprised with Jessica's great customer service since she knew that we waited for quite sometime and offered us a complimentary starbucks drink. It is a truly thoughtful gesture. Can't be happy when I just drove 15 min to Target knowing exactly what I was there for (1 item only) get there 10 min before closing time and they didn't allow me to go in... closing hour is at 9pm. Can't say enough of Target. It's by far my most favorite store. I can buy everything here. I luv thier styles in shoes, clothes, accessories, lingerie, everything for my house, their fruits are yummy, fresh and the best quality-- I always buy my niece Raspberries $3.49, worth every penny because she loves LOVES loves them. She eats the whole basket in one sit if I dont stop her and best of all, with a smile. She knows Target means raspberries :) I buy her dresses (4T) there too and her shoes and get the best compliments. I buy stuff for my bathroom, and CANDLES...! YAY those just make me happy. All my beauty supplies and curtains for my room. This particular store I enjoy coming to for three reasons: 1. This one is ALWAYS clean and neat. 2. Even when there is alot of people; it is never super crowded. 3. Its close to my house. The closest to my house. 4. The prices are lower by at least $0.10-0.20 less on most things. It may not sound like alot but it does add up. I know I said three reasons and then I stated four, its because I can go on and on about Target. :) read more

I love Target, and i especially love THIS location. Its hidden and seldom busy at all. Its easy to park, get in, buy an item or two amd get the hell outta there. I honestly dont see how Walmarts stay in business with Targets around. They are clean, brightly lit and usually the prices are awesome. I also love Target cause i save soooo much money there. I use Target mobile coupons along with Target Cartwheels along with manufacture coupons and always save a bundle. I dont see shit-hole Walmarts doing that. This is my 2nd go-to Target cause they usually have what I cant find at my first go-to Target. Also they just remodeled this Target and its looking quite fantastic. This Target is smaller compared to the Sepulveda Target so its more accessible parking wise and location wise its not on any major streets but near two major streets so its quite the hidden little gem of a Target! Daniel and Mariah from Target Van Nuys ( Raymer St) did an excellent job of service recovery today (8/26/2022). I was ready to pay my items (worth 500.00) when the register jammed. Daniel approach a supervisor (I didn't get his name) and informed us (Daniel and I) that my items has to be re-scannned. I was disappointed of course but what can I do? Daniel asked his supervisor for back up. Because there was a line of customers waiting, I told Daniel to attend to them while we're waiting for back up. Daniel kept on apologizing for the inconvenience. I totally understand that he's just doing his job and it's not his fault. (There's no point arguing or getting angry.) 15 minutes passed, no back up. I approached the supervisor and another lady ( who I didn't get her name neither) and was told that they already called for back up. No other effort was made. Another 5 minutes passed, still no back up. So, I told Daniel to re-scan my items even though there was still a customer waiting and politely asked the customer to look for another cashier. Daniel re-scanned my items but when it get to scanning my coupons, the machine got jammed for the second time! This time, Daniel approached Mariah and explained the situation. He remained calm while explaining it to Mariah. Mariah assisted Daniel hopefully to "unjammed" the machine but to no avail. My items need ti be re-scanned for the second time. Note: the items that I'm buying is worth $500. So, what Mariah did was to open another register and re-scanned my items . This time the coupons went through, I got credited my rewards points and gave me the gift card that I'm supposed to receive for the items I bought. She also gave me an extra $10 gift card for the inconvenience. Daniel being calm apologizing and asking for back up (which the supervisor didn't even thought of) and Mariah assisting Daniel with no questions and giving me an extra $10 gift card are excellent acts of service recovery. I've been shopping in this store since it opened and replaced Fedco. I hope this comment will be read by the higher management. Daniel and Mariah are a treasure to your company. Not a great location. I occasionally stand in as photo assistance; I was in Van Nuys for a photo shoot and the photographer had forgotten the bath bombs we needed. So we found ourselves at this target. We didn't go too deep into the store, but found that the recent attempt at remodel didn't live up to other locations. I guess you have to work with what you have. We found the bath bombs we needed and there were very few choices. At the time I was ok with that they had what we needed, I have since visited my local target and they carry so many more scents and colors of bath bombs. After we grabbed so we went looking for the flowers that some stores carry. Not this one. I am sure this has so much to do with the are we were in. read more

Horrible customer service! I needed help with a registry and they were unable to help me find it. I finally figured it out on my own and printed the list. I asked an employee where an item on the registry was and he told me the incorrect location and just pointed. Did not offer to walk me there, show me where the item I was looking for was - nothing. I came here with my mom who just got done with a round of chemo which has left her with a bit of brain fog.. we got in line with a few things and had planned to get two target gift cards as a promo for spending $40 on health and beauty. We were greeted by a miserable hag called ~MARCIELA~who didn't seem to want to help my mom check her things out. It made me so angry I'm going out of my way to call a manager to report her for being such a jerk. On a recent trip to visit my mother I ended up buying several items for her and then returning or exchanging some. At one point I brought my mother into the store in her wheelchair, and she was interested in trying out one of their "scooters" attached to a shopping card. One of the security staff helped her get familiar with the scooter, and was very kind and patient. We were able to travel all over the store (unfortunately, knocking down a few things from displays in the process). All the staff we encountered were kind and helpful. In 3 days I made 5 or 6 trips to this store, so became pretty familiar with it! I recommend this location for their staff, well-maintained store and organized merchandise. read more

I came yesterday to get my dog a treatment and it was in a box. I tried to take it off the hook but it was locked. There are always employees stocking or walking around but not yesterday. I walked around the store and finally found an employee, he let me know that the electronic department had the key to get it off the hook but there was no one. He called someone on his walkie talkie. Minutes later passed and still nothing. I decided to take another walk around the store and took me a while to find another employee I let him know that I've been waiting for minutes now. He told me to look again because he's busy in the middle of doing something. Which was so rude. I didn't get his name. But i found it so rude. I love this Target and always had great experience until yesterday. After that terrible experience I walked towards the electronic department and waited for a few minutes hoping for any employee to be there and nothing. Turns out there were 3 other people waiting for help at the electronic department and nothing. I worked in customer service before I know what it's like to be in the middle of something but I will help out. I walked over to the dog isle and the second employee I asked he had the key to unlock it , he got me what I needed. But he didn't even say sorry nothing , with attitude. So disrespectful. read more

Well this Target is not as busy as other Targets in they valley. They have a starbucks and a pizza place inside of the store which is nice in case you get hungry or if you need your coffee fix. The store is clean and they usually have people cleaning up the clothes on the floor. The bathrooms are clean with a bit of tagging on the wall but nothing major. The staff is usually helpful, depending in what mood there in, but overall they help as much as they can. The parking here is massive, you can always find parking. No more having to walk a mile to get to the store. read more

Came in for some board games and needed them price matched to target.com. Was limited to 1. Management failed to provide price match policy regarding quantity limits. I believe target is one, not multiple entities and every store should be trained the same way and provided the same training materials to the staff. It seems like this store enforces this policy on different standards, almost as it depends on their mood and time of day. Customer satisfaction is what your brand emphasizes and this time this store failed to meet the expectations. read more

This target has no formal etiquette over the phone. 99% of the time, they don't pick up their phone and when they do, they are rude. Ask for the manager right away once they pick up. Ask for the manager, the term is "L.O.D." or "G.S.T.L" for guest relations. Sales floor team members are lazy and has no training in dealing with customer service. I call these stores to check on products before heading out there. They tend to run out of things, so I save my time by calling before heading out there. But unfortunately, they havent been answering their calls. Tip #1: Re-route your call to Pharmacy (Press 1), or Electronics (Press 2), and call for a manager.
