I experienced blatant , obvious racism in this store the minute I stepped in the door. The security guard/loss prevention guy immediately came over and spoke to me. This is an old intimidation trick used years ago by inexperienced security guards to deter shoplifting. I took great offense to it because he was qn qmqtueur wanna be cop and I knew what he was doing. I noticed that he was only walking over and speaking to black people. Now they may have a problem with stealing in that store and it's his job to stop it . However I will not be shopping in that Target again because Ii have plenty of money and I don't steal and I earn 20 times his salary. I will not allow anyone to make me feel lesser than. They should be better trained. I left feeling targeted and a victim of obvious stereotyping and racism. It was loud and clear. This location is horrible and some of the associates have zero customer service skills. I drove from Philly because their website listed a very specific toy was in stock. I searched their toy department for about 20 mins, when I could not find it I asked an associate who was stocking for help. She verified that the item was in stock and specifically stated "it shows it's on the floor so it wouldn't be in the back". This associate was genuinely trying to be helpful and searched with me trying to locate it. When neither of us could find it she said she asked her co-worker, this is when things went downhill. This co worker stated that it was in fact there but was not on the floor because they were short staffed and couldn't stock it. I explained that the other associate said it was on the floor to which she replied "it's in the back and I don't know where it is". I asked if I could pay and pick it up at another time, she declined. I asked when it would be on the floor to which she replied "I don't know, we are short staffed". I explained that I drove from Philly and that this was a bad experience, her response (while smirking) was "yeah". Also there was no manger on duty to speak with. Some Targets are great but I would avoid this location at all costs I imagine they have staffing issues due to poor management. read more

First and foremost, I love Target - I always have - their prices, their selection, their décor and their product placement. My favorite color is also red! (Oh, I love their dog mascot too!). My daughter found out online that she could get the sought after Nintendo "Switch" at this particular store. There were literally two left when we arrived and she scored the red and blue one that she wanted so badly (a leather case for it too)! I also got my son two pair of really nice jeans, for only $30 each. The employees were helpful (one w/ jean sizing) and it's just an overall pleasant place to be! read more

I used to frequent this location very often, but no more. Doesn't matter if you go at peak or off peak time they have only 1-2 cashiers working. To make matters worse, there's only 4 self checkout lanes with an item limit that customers don't adhere to and the employees don't enforce. This has been an issue for well over a year and I'm tired of waiting for things to improve. Other locations have more self checkouts and cashiers so I'm not sure what the issue is with this one other than possibly poor management or maybe corporate doesn't care about this location and wants it to fail. Also drive up used to be good, but now you have to be prepared to wait past your pickup time (sometimes 30 minutes). I feel bad for the workers there, seems like they're getting setup for failure. They post hiring signs, but they don't hire. I've recently found it is much easier to get what I need from other retailers so I won't be going back unless something changes. read more

This store is very clean and usually well stocked. However, I am taking some umbrage with short-staffing the cash registers. This past Sunday afternoon there was one cashier on duty and one cashier staffer at the self-checkout lines. The cashier had 6+ people in line with full-to-the-brim shopping carts. I was #20 in the self-checkout line. When I told my wife after I got home she said "It's always busy on Sundays. Why hasn't Target received this memo? Why do they have so many cash registers? I don't think they even use these a Christmas time. read more

I had a terrible experience at Target a few weeks ago. It's location is on the Blackhorse Pike, Turnersville. I had finished shopping and noticed no cash registers were open. I know most enjoy using Self Service, I do not. I found a Team Leader and asked him to open one. He became so defensive and insisted I disrespected him. How by saying I was the customer and should have had my request honored. But because I disrespected this young gentleman, he said he would not open a register. I have never experienced such rudeness. I complained to corporate. What happened to true customer service. We bring our bags, scan our shopping. They hire less because they know we the customers will perform what was once the workers job to do. read more

I usually have a good experience at Target at Turnersville but yesterday I did not. I went into the fitting room to try on a few items and the old lady that was working back there had a little bit of an attitude when she saw I had more than 6 items. I was okay with leaving a few back with my mom and I did what she said but her attitude bothered me. After I was done trying things on, I walked out of the room and I asked her "Where should I put these" referring to the items I didn't fit in. She practically yelled back at me "Give me a minute!" I honestly was in shock. I work in retail and I understand that it can be stressful, but I would never yell at a customer. I try to make it easier on the workers because I understand how many things they have to manage at a time so I put everything back on hangers and I didn't leave a mess in the dressing room. I was even practically offering to hang the clothes myself by asking where she would like me to put the items. It wasn't like I was trying to force the clothes in her hand while she was doing something else. I was fine waiting a second but there was no need to yell at me and honestly it got under my skin. read more

I grew up visiting this Target and can't remember having any issues. It was a reliable spot to find quality items for a range of household needs. I moved away about 8 years ago so my recent visits have been infrequent. I prefer the Cherry Hill or Woodbury locations. Today I was reminded why I tend to pass over this location. I only needed a couple items. After a quick browse around the fairly messy clothing section, I grabbed a cardigan and purse and made my way to the check out area. They had three lines open. No express. Two of the lines were long. In the third, a lady was finishing her order. As I walked into the line, a guy with a full cart of items (and, later, two separate orders) walked in ahead of me. When I'm in that situation I always let the person holding two things hop in front of me. I feel like that's common courtesy and just all-around a nice thing to do. Guy apparently didn't agree with me so I had a long wait. When it was finally my turn, I suggested opening an express line for people like me. She didn't even acknowledge what I said in any way. Just rang me up and said to have a good day. What? In the parking lot, I made a call about how upset I was. Got into my car and guy had been within earshot, so he rewarded my wait and frustration by pulling up behind my car and flipping me off. I have no personal desire to return to this particular Target again any time soon. It's too unorganized and the customer service is severely lacking. But they are well-stocked, so they have that going for them. read more

Solid Target! This was one of the first ones to go up in the area, but they have since remodeled it, so it is up to date. Typically, it isn't that busy here. During Christmas time, I'll choose this location over the Hamilton/Mays Landing one, (which is closer) just because the flow seems to be better at check-out. AAAnd they have a Starbucks. I remember in the late 90's this Target hosted the Philly summer cast of RENT, and they performed in front of the women's dressing room! My only complaint with this location is the disgusting bathroom. Any other Target close by such as Sicklerville & Deptford are way cleaner! This bathroom has only 3 stalls, the toilet seats look like they need to be replaced and the entire restroom is obviously never cleaned during the day. They are currently renovating the entire store and hopefully they make the bathroom bigger with new toilet seats at the very least. read more

Target is a wonderful store. They have been very helpful during COVID-19. They really saved me when I could not get delivered items. Curbside pickup or they always will deliver to your home. They have reasonable prices and very good items. read more

Minus one star for the jerk (or overly zealous employee) who swiped our cart. It had stuff in it. Luckily no personal items. But there was a one-of-a-kind clearance item we couldn't replace. Otherwise, I've got no complaints about this Target. They have some flavors of Naked juice that I haven't seen anywhere else. First, let me start off by saying that I LOVE target. It never fails, you go into the store for a few things and you leave with 173 bags and $200 less in your pocket. This location in particular is my favorite in the area. It is by far the cleanest, well stocked and most customer service oriented Target in this area. Always come out of this store with more than I expected. Love to look at the end of the aisles for clearance items. Variety is amazing and the food selection at the front of the store is always a great pick me up for shopping. Keeps the kids happy too. Restrooms are convenient and clean. Waited over 30 minutes in the electronic section to buy a phone. The 1 employee working there stood on the phone trying to port this number the entire time. Apparently target only hires 1 person for the entire store that can do phones. Was forced to walk out of the store after 30 minutes when the employee refused to get off the phone. This is my favorite target. Its super clean and has a friendly staff. There's a starbucks, Pizza Hut and a Market cafe. The cafe area is set up by the front windows so you can actually sit by the window instead of concrete walls. read more

The operator answering the phones needs a lesson in politeness. Don't call this Target or you will here sighs and grumps and feel her frustration and/or aggravation with her job. Very rude and nasty and just repeats the same thing over and over, like she's a chat-bot. Probably would've had a lot more success with a bot, since they can't be rude. read more

Yesterday ...the 4th of JULY.. i stopped into this Target store to buy Tonic Soda. I have never been in this store before and was not at all familiar with the location of anything in the store. I stopped at the customer counter and asked the very nice landy behind the desk did they carry tonic soda , if so where could I find it. She was not too sure so she asked a young man, who was walking away form the area. He came over to the counter and told me ...yes we do carry tonic soda. I asked where it was located. He told me it was all the way in the back of the store. Considering I have had some medical problems lately, I knew I could not walk that far. It was also a very hot day and the heat was taking it's toll on me. The young man, seeing my concern about walking that far, asked if he cold get it for me. I was amazed. He then went and got the items I was lookng for and brougth them to me at the front of the store, where he proceeded to help me with the check out. He even offered to carry the bags to my car. I said no as my car was close by and I did not want to take advantage of his good will. As we were checking out I asked him his name and told him Target will hear about you. He is an asset to this company and should be acknowleded for his wonderful approach to customers. His name is George. I am sorry, I did not get his last name.
