Target is always a necessary stop. They really found that balance between fairly priced, every day essentials, and more premium household goods. I love coming here to shop for cute outfits for my daughter and to grab a delicious Starbucks to enjoy while I shop. The lines here are normally long, but they move quickly thanks to the attentive employees. The only thing I need to worry about here is leaving with something I don't need because it's so tempting. I love coming here.

Umm...this is crazy

I have been to this Target several times and I'm surprised I haven't written a review on it yet. The majority of the time, I have had stellar service here. The employee who pushes the carts in has helped carry my bags to the car when I was wheelchair bound. The store employee who grabbed my purse and locked it in the back when I absentmindedly left it in the cart on my way out (How did I do that? Facepalm). The electronics employee who recommended the most amazing earphones I've ever owned and was so sweet about it. The clean store that seems to never be messy...even though we know there are a ton of people who leave Starbucks cups everywhere. I have so many good experiences here, it's almost intertwined in great memories with my family. There has only been one bad experience (nobody is perfect) and that was the shoe debacle. I'm sure someone came to clean it up within the hour though. I would definitely recommend this Target. All the amazing employees that work here deserve a pat on the back. Seriously. Great job.

Always a deal to be had. The fact that more and more self checkout units are being added and fewer staff running registers on site is disappointing. Starting to get a Walmart feel in the realm of customer service. Haven't had the opportunity to utilize the curbside pickup and hope to in the future.

Target is my happy place! What's not to love about this place?! The updates to the women's clothing and jewelry sections are refreshing and modern. This store is always clean, organized, and well lit. Target carries a ton of speciality brands you can't find in other stores. There are always plenty of registers open. There's a Starbucks inside. The parking lot can get a little annoying to get out because of the set up for the area but it's nothing too bad.

Hair accessories ect.

Large Department store with a grocery section in the rear of the store along with a Starbucks near the entrance. I find the clothing and apparel is generally overpriced based on the quality of clothing sold there in my opinion, they do have a nice clearance section for the deal seekers where they mark down things like work out apparel and other items that most of us don't want to spend a fortune on. Picked up two 30.00 dollar sweat shirts for less than 10 bucks yesterday.

There were five of us making decisions, all also remote from each other. Not an easy assignment but Karen was enthusiastic and encouraging all along the way. When we finally got to Mt Pleasant to sign papers and make final fabric/rug choices, Karen and Emily were so well organized that we finished in record time with no drama. The store is beautiful with a HUGE showroom floor and many sales. You can't go wrong with this store of Karen. We will be back to buy more after we move into our new home.

That was, until a Black Friday ad showed up on our TV and my hub called out, "Hon, come look at this chair." "Yeah, it could work," I casually replied. I had a plan. First thing, Small Business Saturday, I stopped into J&K Furnishings in the Belle Hall Shopping Center (Long Point Road) as soon as it opened. I was approached immediately by Karen who took me over to the advertised chair. She was knowledgeable and patient, even knowing that there would be no sale. I was there just to check out the chair. Yes, it was comfortable, genuine buttery leather, priced well and was exactly what I wanted. I told Karen that I'd be back the next day with my husband. We returned on Sunday and worked with Ryan who also was patient and low key. He closed the sale. We both appreciated that he did not try to upsell a higher priced chair or other items. We actually asked for a protection plan. Delivery was set and confirmed with an automated phone call. The drivers called as they were on the way. The chair is perfect ... even our our fur son approves! The entire experience was easy. If you're looking to feather your nest, or freshen up tired decor, be sure to check out J&K. I know you'll be satisfied.

Here's why: I am a witness to the fact they put NEW price tags on all their furniture, grossly inflating the prices then marking them down 30%. A sofa that was $699 a month ago has a new price of $1099 minus 30% is....you got it, $699. The customer thinks they're getting a deal. What they're really getting is the original sales price which is to say, there is no sale, only deception. I got to admit, having lived across the US, I used to love Dean and Deluca (not sure if Summerville…read morehad one and if they still exist). The place had an upscale vibe to it with better than your grocery store type of food offerings and products. World Market kind of, sort of, not really but sort of fills a little of that void. It also has a certain Bed Bath and Beyond feel, geez anyone else these once great pillars of our shopping experience are gone? Anyways, World Market has a lot inventory and items for the home chef, as well as some Hoby Lobby type enthusiast. This particular store is in a safe part of town with plenty of parking and is very clean. Walking in, I mentioned all the other examples that seem to have an influence on this retailer. So, if any of them fit your liking, well this is the place for you! The reason I was in the store is to get some rare pasta shapes. Quick aside, I love different pasta shapes b/c they literally taste different b/c how they hit the pallet. Don't believe me? As a former chef, tell me macaroni and spaghetti taste the same, they don't! Anyways I was purchasing some principesse pasta (think fettuccini with the lasagna frills on the side, splendid). It's cut with a bronze dye which means it gives a rough texture, perfect for holding sauces and gripping the tongue rather than sliding off. I also picked up some German egg noodles (mini-lasagna) which look like pappardelle with ruffles. Besides online, this is the only local store that carries the shapes. Ok pasta course is over. They have a wide selection of interesting chips, wines, coffees, Asian drinks and ramen noodles, specialty candies and more things that I don't have time to discuss. In other words, this place offers products that you've probably never consider, which really will enhance your life. If you're there, steer clear of the Lindl gourmet truffles unless you have a deal with the belt b/c they're so darn good. I highly advise taking a moment to scan their spices and oils section as well. My only draw back is I wish they had a refrigerated section. While there, they have an interesting kitchen utensils section as well as creative dinnerware, not like those huge cheap places which have no character but only corporate uniformity. I rather liked a lot of their dishes and could envision myself with my pinky up eating crumpets and sipping noon tea! Now they have some furniture and stuff but to be perfectly honest I had no interest in their offerings so I can't speak to quality, price or selection, but it's there if you want to take a looksie. Finally, they are holiday influences so lets say it's Christmas time, they'll have a good amount of space dedicated to things like reefs, lights, ornaments, you name it. I think it's refreshing to have options out there to offset the mainstream. As far as prices, they're a little higher with good reason, it's not the normally created stuff. But at least the option is out there. To wrap up, the employees are nice and ring you up quickly while joyfully answering questions. They have an inventory of items unlike many other places making it a unique shopping experience. Furthermore, it's clean and safe which provides for a laid-back shopping experience. Drop on by, but avoid the upscale candy isle, your hips will thank me!
