I'm never disappointed when I go to Marshalls. In fact, I have to stop myself from shopping there weekly. You can easily spend all of your money here. The employees are always helpful and the shelves are always stocked. I stopped in specifically for some planters and left with a whole lot more. Let's just say this is typically the norm. After perusing the aisles, I did find other items that were of need such as my face cleanser. Only two left, so I grabbed them both. For 3.99 and regular priced at 9.99, that's a steal. I always stock up on honey and they have a unique selection readily available. Hand soap popped into my cart as well. Do you go to the clearance section? If not, you should definitely check it out. Maybe I shouldn't have said that. Anyway, I ended up finding a brand of coffee I have been wanting to try on sale. Blk & Bold is a black-owned brand of coffee who contributes 5% of their profits to support at-risk youth both locally and nationally. So let's just say I had a very nice shopping experience. :)

I'm never disappointed when I come to Marshalls! I like the display by the front entrance. They change it, based on the month/season. Currently, it has college themed items, like planners, calendars, and diy message boards. The store is organized and bright. It's easy to navigate from one section to the next. They offer a great selection of items. The household section is where I find the most goodies. Halloween and Fall items are out! The pop up cards by the registers are adorable--they have a good variety! The beauty section is pretty small at this location.

Love my designer duds, and friends don't let friends pay full retail. Thus, we have the usually reliable Marshall's! No matter what city am in, can always know that I can pop in here and find a last minute gift of any kind, toiletry I did not bring, or extra clothing! This is one store I never have buyer remorse after shopping, because many deals are waiting for you to find them, and it's something to get excited about! Love combing through and finding brands like Hudson, J Brand, James Perse, Sanctuary, Free People, C & C California, Rebecca Taylor, Rachel Zoe.... the list goes on! They keep the layout and organization streamlined as to not be overwhelming or have an outdated look. Also they've had Le Creuset the past couple seasons which have made amazing purchases for nearly every female in my family. Also seen Rae Dunn too, if you're into that! Very friendly staff, and fair return policy on full priced items in case something doesn't work out. That is a rare occurrence for me though. Have fun!!!

I really like this Marshalls location on Dorchester Road in North Charleston. This store is well managed and organized and I like that I can find the section I am looking for quickly without having to search. The checkout here is quick and efficient which can be lacking in other Marshalls as you could be waiting a while before you can leave. I am consistently impressed with this Marshalls.

One place that will always dominate any neighborhood besides that other depressing behemoth store…read moreis Target. A huge sprawling parking lot with enough space under one roof to get in a mile of walking, if one were so compelled. This brings me to Target in Summerville, SC. Located in a safe albeit busy part of town this place will have, almost anything you need since it's a Super Target. They're aren't many people walking around so if you need something be prepared to "hunt." Finally the place is always clean and stocked so that's a huge bonus. As for the food, it has what one has come to expect from Target, average products at a low cost however when it comes to fruit and veggies, the supply is always needs a lot of washing. The baked and homemade food items are average but better than that other "blue" store! I've also found they're limited in toys as I tried to purchase some items for my kids but they only have the absolute most popular items. So, if you want that GI Joe action figure, you won't find it here, or at least anything new. As for electronics, they have most of the newest gaming consoles, games and controllers however 4k media is limited, but that's a standard among all stores now as physical media continues to be replaced by inferior forms of content like streaming. Most items like pet food and accessories are in abundance, hardware and housing goods have most of what someone needs and the kitchen section has a lot of average equipment to great stuff depending on what you need. For example, the knife selection is horrible but mixers are just as good as anywhere else. I do all of my vitamin and specialty medicine (not prescription) from Target as it's the cheapest. Overall, Target is exactly what you expect anywhere and that's by design. The only real differences are subtle things that regionally might sell better at one place then another state won't offer a product as it won't make sense. Think of a heavy winter coat for sale in Texas - it isn't needed. Other than those items, it's Target so you already know what you want.

Who doesn't love target?! This one stays pretty busy and it seems at any time of the day. That Starbucks is crazy busy so I avoid going there. I always find at least a few things from the back sales rack for great prices which I love. The grocery sometimes can be a little lacking depending on the season I can't find certain things but they have a decent selection. I was returning some things this visit, it did take a bit longer of a wait given the holidays, but the gentleman that helped me was very nice and friendly despite the piles of returns surrounding him. Very solid target!

It's definitely a treasure hunt, and honestly, I never leave empty-handed. Every trip, I walk out with a full buggy. In the jewelry section, I found a beautiful necklace and bracelet set for my husband, plus a box of six pairs of small hoop earrings for myself. From there, we moved to bath and body--where I stocked up on everything from vanilla-scented shimmering body oil to goat milk & honey lotion, bergamot & hinoki body wash, and turmeric brown sugar exfoliating wash (plus a few extras I couldn't pass up). The candle section did not disappoint either--men's DW candles, Dayroom candles, #96 heavily fragranced options, and my favorite DW pink rose scents. I also came across crystal bookends, Citrine spheres, and white quartz geodes, along with four posing Buddha statues that are perfect for my bathroom. And I still wasn't done. My grandson found a toy archery set, and I picked up two outfits for his little sisters. One little dress came with a hat and the other with sunglasses. The pet section was packed with toys, accessories, and high-end shampoos and conditioners you'd usually only find in boutiques--I grabbed a few squeaky toys and an oatmeal shampoo for my itchy pup. Of course, we ended at what I call "the trap"--the checkout line surrounded by snacks, gummy vitamins, jelly beans, greeting cards, and novelty mugs. It gets you every Single time. Overall, the store feels organized and thoughtfully curated, which makes the entire shopping experience easy, fun, and hard to walk away from without a great find. If you love name brand fashion and don't mind digging a little, TJMaxx in Azalea Square Summerville is absolutely worth checking out. 5/5 prices 5/5 Organized 5/5 well lit and inviting 5/5 one of a kind items 5/5 friendly service 5/5 Handicapped parking

Starting on Saturday the line is around the corner of the building with people waiting to get a deal. The warehouse is lined with wooden crates that are full of everything you can imagine from toys to blankets to household items. There are a couple of rules but they're pretty straight forward. Shopping: Adults 16 and older are given a large blue IKEA bag. Whatever you can fit in it you can buy for only $7! That's every single item in the store. Once the bag is full you have to pay but you can come back in as many times as you want. If there is a box you want opened to see inside just ask a store employee and they will be happy to help you. Opening it on your own will get you kicked out. Only a certain amount of people are allowed in at a time so you may have to wait. No large bags or purses are allowed inside so just bring your wallet. They take cash or card. Don't drag the blue bags because they will rip. Saturday's everything is $7, Sunday it's $5. Parking: parking is limited on busy days. The Goose Creek police are there on weekends to help with traffic control and making sure everyone behaves. Don't park in the local business parking spots or you'll get towed. You can line the roadway against the grass closer to the train tracks. Food: Yes! Food trucks are here on the weekend serving out delicious food for hungry shoppers. The staff is really friendly and helpful. You never know what you'll find hidden under the piles so have fun!
