With the heat as bad as it is, it was good to see that Target had a good amount of fans for sale. The store is similar to other Target stores. They have price scans around the store, so it's easy to check on the prices of the items you are interested in. I had a question about an item and this nice lady was very helpful. Extremely rare to see more than 2 registers open. 20 customers lined up with full carts waiting for service. 2/5 self checkout stations operate. Lots of employees walking around, managers checking employees for the color of their shirts instead of ringing out customers. read more

Hire freaking staff. The wait at drive up is pathetic!!! People lined up for upwards of 20 minutes is unacceptable. It's not the employees fault either, it's management and corporate with their greedy salaries that no one wants. read more

This location sucks. I've ordered multiple things online for pick up in store. I receive an alert my item is ready, only to go to the store to find that it isn't ready. After waiting to be acknowledged for an eternity, they go get the items I ordered. read more

Apparently this location has just given up. Stopped in last couple weekends to this location that we routinely visit 1-2 times a week, and will not be returning. Zero registers open 2 weekends in a row. Employees literally walking the other way when a customer approaches. The store is even hot temperature-wise. Apparently they can't afford staffing or running the AC for their customers. Can't tell if poor new management or cheap cost cutting moves from local higher ups. Guess you just want to promote small orders. Terrible target. Simply terrible. Especially in what is normally a busy store. read more

Wildly unprofessional. My friend got hired here a bit ago and worked for about a month. After a month this place just absolutely ghosted him. Stopped scheduling him for shifts, he got logged out of his scheduling app and worst of all, he received no notice, no call, no email, NO indication of them possibly letting him go. Absolutely disgusting if you ask me; these places use people for busy Holiday shopping times and then never contact them again, like *poof*. Do NOT work here. read more

Busy Sunday morning and NO registers open. Has nothing to do with staffing because they have 20+ employees stocking shelves that don't need to be stocked. I asked the manager why no registers were open when it is so busy. He said "There's a reason no registers are open." They could have 2 of the people stocking shelves on registers. Also, so many isles I wanted to go down were completely blocked by the stockers. So rude, especially to handicapped and the elderly. Never shopping here again. Even Walmart has at least a few registers open and their prices are cheaper. read more

Dear Target People, My neighbors and I really appreciate you building this store just for us. We understand that someday the crowds will arrive, but until then it is nice to wander the aisles, stumbling upon Target employees hovering in stand-by mode, expectant looks on their faces, hearing again and again the retail standby, "Can I help you find anything?" The friendly cashiers make eye-contact when we are still 30 feet away, the smile actually traveling to their eyes, then look askance at each other, as if to say, "No, this one's mine." The lady at the Starbucks counter watches as I check out (the other day there were actually THREE check-outs going at once!) wondering if I will stroll over and fulfill her need to steam something, perhaps wondering what twisted variation I may throw at her such as; "Extra-hot, no-whip" or even the useless coffee I have heard others order: "Decaf Skinny". We will enjoy the personal service as long as we can. read more

Aisles were mostly stocked, except for the Christmas area, but not surprised as it is almost the middle of December. Visited this Target to return some clothes I had purchased that did not fit. The line for returns was about 4 people long, and after standing there for 15 minutes and it not budging, I decided to go take a look around for a replacement. Other employees were nearby, but never opened another register for returns. They did not have the replacement jumpsuit in my size, but I ended up finding a whole lot of short sleeve tees on sale for a ridiculously low price of $3.40. I also found a 2 piece bathing suit on clearance for $20. I searched their backpacks and found the one I had been eyeing online, which was much smaller and cheaply made than I had thought. Decided to buy a different backpack, which cost $30 (?!). Went back to the returns line, still a bit of a wait, with other employees still milling about. Ended up doing the return and buying my new items, which would have been a wash, except for that expensive no-name generic backpack. This isn't my usual go-to Target, but "did the job" in my situation, just took much longer than I was expecting. read more

This Target is subpar. Their grocery department always seems to be picked over and if there is food, it's either past expiration date or nearing it. Not sure why this always seems to be the case but it's the main reason I like to avoid this location. read more

I have to say, I'm surprised to see the dissatisfaction others have experienced at this Target location! This store isn't just my closest Target, it's also my closest Starbucks, I fact that I find mildly irritating. We've got this BIG shopping center in Mansfield, and a few good-sized strip malls, and we're RIGHT off 495, but we don't have a Starbucks???? Every time I see new construction in a commercial lot in Mansfield I get excited, hoping it's a Starbucks. They're building two auto parts stores in Mansfield a mile apart right now, but no Starbucks. Not yet. Anyways, I come to this Target when I need Target things. Today it was laundry detergent (biodegradable, fragrance free), razor cartridges, a new glass beaker thing for the french press, some almond milk. Nothing crazy! This is a pretty decent-sized Target, not as big as others I have seen, and it's definitely a bummer that they don't stock the Designer collaborations that Target does in women's wear from time to time. I'm a sucker for those. They do have some cute stuff though. I feel like 30% of my spring and summer wardrobe is Target pajamas. Life is short! Be comfortable. Wear pajamas all the time! :-) The staff here can be a little weird- I did get the stink eye once for returning a sofa cover that didn't fit my couch. It also didn't have the dimensions printed on the packaging, so I didn't feel too badly about returning it outside of the package that I couldn't squeeze it back into. There was also a time where the kid who rang us up gave my hubs a hard time about bringing our dog with us to shop... Target is dog friendly, and I was surprised that this kid said we shouldn't bring the dog, since it isn't against Target policy, but I guess this particular cashier was allergic to dogs! Side note: the dog in question here is a 15 pound smooth coat dachshund named Scamper, who has many, many adventures, and is generally a total angel at Target. He sits in the cart and waits till we get to the doggie aisle, where he wags and wiggles until he gets a new toy. So basically, every time I go to Target and bring the dog, I spent $5-20 more than I would have if I left him in the car. Minimum. Anyways, other than a handful of odd moments with the staff, this Target has been the go-to place for home goods, supplies, personal care products and all the miscellaneous sundries our little family of two humans and a dog baby need. Final note here: the Starbucks location is pretty good here as well. The staff is young but bright, and they pay attention to details and don't mess up my order. Because it's the lone Starbucks deep in the 'burbs, I frequently find myself in line when I'm there, but things move along pretty quickly, and I'm glad it's here, even if it is a touch out of the way! read more

This Target has gone downhill. It used to be my go to for shopping anything but since the pandemic it has gone downhill. I'm not sure if it is this store or corporate which has done this. The coupons in the Target app NEVER come off the product at checkout, and yes, they were saved in the app. There seems to be nobody around to help at self checkout so if you ring something up that is suppose to be on sale but didn't ring up correctly you can either overpay and stand in line at returns to get the right price or suck it up and just pay more. Sure I could stand in the long lines at a regular register to try make sure it's done right but honestly I'm just going to shop elsewhere. This isn't a one time thing, it's happened to me every time I shop here, so I'm not going to anymore....Oh and have you noticed when you scan an item instore for a price, the price you are given is for ONLINE, you'll likely get charged a higher price at the register, UNLESS you notice AND can find someone to give you the price it scanned at...good luck with that. read more

If I could give this negative 5 stars I would. We went in to get a glider rocker that was on clearance and found it discontinued and sold out, however the display was still there. I offered to buy it and the manager Rachael told me I could not because of safety with baby stuff. You freaking kidding me a baby isn't sitting on it. I then called back to talk to Jess the manager and the rude obnoxious person she is hung up on me. GO TO WALMART INSTEAD!!!!! I'm in here all the time and I haven't experienced some of the problems that other reviews have. I worked at a different Target for 5 years while attending college, and I must say that for the most part, this store is run well. The store is low volume, so cashing out is rarely a problem for me. I think the longest I've waited in line was 5 minutes during the holiday rush, and that was with only 3 cashiers on. In comparison, I often waited 10 minutes or more to cash out of the Target I worked in on a busy day. And there were times when the lines at my old Target would run 5 or 6 people long per cashier. The store is kept clean and the workers, or "team members" are friendly. Please don't feel annoyed when a few employees ask you "Can I help you find something?". They pretty much have to. They're reminded that they have to ask you this on a daily basis. Some customers love it, some find it very annoying. Most employees hate it more, I promise. Don't let their smiles fool you. One thing I noticed is that their baby section (clothes and infant aisles) are often understocked with less of a selection than other Targets. I'm not sure why. I don't notice it so much in other departments. The Starbucks employees are always polite and I haven't had a wrong order yet. Overall, a convenient and comfortable place to shop. read more

UPDATE : June 2017 This place is still just a huge problem, without any doubts, all the time. I visited the store recently to purchase some items for the school I work at. These items they would reimburse me for if I kept the receipt. Of course the receipt printer paper isn't working correctly and makes the receipt unable to read the prices of any of the items whatsoever. When bringing this to the attention of management, they did attempt to rectify the issue. After nearly twenty minutes of waiting around for someone to finally figure out a way to fix this issue though, I had to leave (I was running late as it was), and it was a complete disaster. In addition, the signage is still illegal on the registers without having any price accuracy information (which is not ok by state law). They need to rectify these issues and in general, the Milford Target consistently responds to my concerns responsibly and quickly. Here, improvements are inexistent. Still 2 stars. Original Review: August 2015 My visit today. Average to poor. The entire Back-To-College section was extremely picked over and NONE of the price tags on the shelf were correct. Barely any of the price scanners were working, only ONE printed out tags (REALLY?!?!?, Check pictures, they all had "Out Of Service" messages!). Also, I understand the clearance section of each store are never the same, but every other store I have been to has had a TON of clearance items. Here they had barely anything, and the items on 'clearance', had regular prices. When I spoke with Manager Rich on the phone he said the price scanner need replacement and they are working on it, so I'm happy they are working on it. Also, this specific store has old, (sometimes) squeaky, and inconvenient shopping carts. I wanted to use the bottom to hold a rolling kitchen cart I was purchasing, but It wouldn't fit because of a bar blocking it off. That is NEVER an issue with my 'normal' store in Milford.... they have working scanners and carriages. I had my baby shower registry with target and when I went to return items that I did not need it was not easy. The first time I went to return a few things they could not pull up my registry and the employee had a bunch of attitude. I had to get a store credit which was fine but they were very rude. The second time I went to return diapers once again on my registry they couldn't pull it up and were giving me a hassle about exchanging them for a larger size. The cashier was very rude about it, but the manager was very nice. I would not recommend registering at target due to the hassle when I had to return items that were purchased on my registry. read more

Came here on a Thursday around 5pm, not many people here but because they only have one register open the lines were ridiculously long there should not be 6 people waiting for the self checkout because the one register already has a really long line. I really hate using the self checkout I don't want to work for Target for free! Also stock here was really low, pain relief isle was really empty as was the deodorant. Today after shopping at Target in Easton, I was pleasantly surprised after my entire order was rung up the cashier told me I can no longer use my target coupons if they are not in full color. When I asked to speak to a manager instead of getting me a manager the cashier just asked the cashier next to her some guy named Mike who told me they no longer take black and white coupons with no further explanation. After shopping at this Target for over four years I will no longer be shopping there! I think in this day and age when people are trying to save a dollar and have to print all their coupons out in color just to shop at a store is stupid! I hope they realize how many customers they will be losing! I will post this on my FB wall so all the other mothers can know not to shop at Target in Easton if they plan on saving any money they need to go to Walmart or Stop and Shop where the companies actually appreciate your business and they accept all coupons no matter what color! read more

My friend and I went to this target looking for bathing suits. We each had about seven bathing suits each and a pair of shoes each. We went to the fitting room to try them on and no one was at the fitting room or even in the general area. We heard people already in the fitting rooms, so we thought it was okay to go ahead in. We left our shoes outside of the fitting room on the front desk and tried on our stuff on. When we came out I grabbed my shoes and put the bathing suits we didn't want on the rack. We started walking toward the cash registers and An employee stopped us. She came up behind us and asked me, "What does your shirt say? Born in the 90's? Sounds like a shirt target sells"(The shirt I was wearing was from H&M and I had it on when I walked into the store. They would ha e known that if they had someone manning the fitting room) Another employee came up on the other side of us and stood there. After a full conversation with them we were so off put by the blatant accusation we weren't very thrilled with this target. I ended up putting everything back and refused to buy anything. 0 out of 10 I don't recommend. read more

This is my go-to Target store, I could (and have) spend hours here. It's not in a prime location and just off the beaten path, so I can see how it can easily get passed up. That makes it SO much better than the rest in Mass. Don't get me wrong, it's usually always hoppin', but nothing like what I've experienced at Plainville, Stoughton, or least of all, Braintree. Housewares, clothing and some utilities and cleaning products are all decently priced and offer significant savings compared to the competition, especially if you download the Cartwheel App and your items happen to be on it. Definitely get it, update it when needed, and use it everytime you shop. The grocery section doesn't impress me much and I find things to be way less at Market Basket or even Hannaford next door. The cellular service inside is non existent, so log into their wi-fi. It can also be iffy depending on where you're at in the store, but it's better than nothing, especially if you're looking into your Cartwheel offers. read more

They always have a great selection for whatever it is that I'm looking for, whether it's clothes, home goods, appliances, etc. I have never run into a problem in this store, with the exception of one item I was looking for last Christmas. They kindly called the stoughton location and held it for pick up for me. Always spend way too much money here!! read more

I live less than 2 minutes from this Target and I go there very frequently at all different times of the day and night. I've never had an instance of hovering, expectant employees (as a previous review mentioned) and I seldom have to wait in long lines. The staff is usually helpful and pleasant. I seldom come across items not being in stock, although occasionally there's one that's not where it belongs. It's a nice clean store that's easy to get around. Walmart may be cheaper, but I'd much rather spend time in this Target than any Walmart. read more

This store is conveniently located and has nice employees. It has one catastrophic flaw, the check outs. Not really an stretch to say it is the worst you're ever going to experience, if you shop here with any frequency. Have finally learned my lesson, and will drive the little extra to the Plainville Target, with it's smoothly run checkout. The afternoon of Monday, May 21,2012, was the last time I ever shop at the Easton Target. I went in and saw two, huge, snaking lines, but I was already there. When I got to the registers, only one line was opened with the light on. However, there were two other registers running with the light off. People started to go into these, and the cashiers kept checking out. I went in to one and the cashier told me she was closed, but I could stay there. In the meanwhile, the guy who was supervising the registers, invited some people who were just walking up to the registers to come down his line he had just opened up! So there was one register with the light on, three with the light off, and me standing there watching lots of people who had came up after me leaving first, and other confused looking people wondering where to go. It was a complete breakdown of procedure, if there is one. An extremely aggravating experience, and not the first time I've went through it in Easton. read more
