I like this target way better then the one in dorchester its much cleaner and the staff is much friendlier. I always come here to get one thing but end up with 50 (seriously) they have such a good variety and I don't feel like I'm going to get robbed in the parking lot like I did when i went to the other location . 4 stars because the bathroom was kinda gross!! read more

definitely my favorite target. the staff are always so friendly and helpful. and having a Starbucks is so convenient. they usually have a great selection of collector items near the video games! but my absolute favorite part has to be the pride month section! my only complaint would be excluding lesbian flags from the mini flags. could have been because they ran out but i've been multiple times and haven't seen a lesbian flag. read more

Just had a horrible experience here regarding returning an item that I had bought online. Customer service told me to return it to this store, which I did. It took the woman an hour to find out how to return the online product. She then told me my shipping charges would be refunded on my AMEX by the online department. They never did. I wrote to them, they gave me a giftcard even though I protested, saying I did not live near the Target nor did I have a car to get there (I had to borrow a friends). They were unwilling to help me with my problem. read more

Overzealous towing operators (Pats Towing). I used to go here every weekend to stock up on supplies. Yesterday, I decided to grab something to eat nearby after shopping and my car was towed for being 10 min over the limit. It was a Sunday and most of the lot was basically empty, especially with the store next door store closed down. I will be coming here much less often now. read more

The worst managed Target location I have ever visited. Many items are often out of stock, even on Fridays when they should be preparing for weekend shoppers. That's a mystery, considering that the inventory and logistics are highly automated. Long lines with too-few open checkouts are common. It is hard to imagine why Target allows this particular store to persistently damage its brand. Even though the Somerville store is nearby, we end up driving to the Everett location or buying from other stores. read more

I was in just in there and was told by the woman in guest services that they would not price match the bedding set that is currently on sale on target.com (for 20% off). I left without purchasing it, went home and saw on Target's own website that it's their policy to price match target.com: https://corporate.target.com/about/shopping-experience/shop-with-confidence. Target's "Pharmacy" (and I use the term loosely) is a JOKE! They used to have somewhat decent hours, open till 9PM. I recently needed a prescription and I stupidly requested the Target Pharmacy. I arrive at the Target location at 180 Somerville Ave in Somerville, only to discover they were closed and that their hours are now only Monday - Friday 9-5PM! To make matters worse, after struggling to get the prescription venue changed to a REAL pharmacy (CVS) CVS couldn't fill it because Target hadn't released it and when the CVS rep tried calling Target, their Pharmacy was CLOSED FOR LUNCH! Why does Target even bother having a pharmacy? It's certainly not to serve the public. Do yourselves a favor and take your drug business elsewhere. read more

My boyfriend and I went to this Target Store around 6 pm today. We shopped in the store and then we went across the street to get some food and when we come back in just few minutes, our call got towed. We went to the customer service, and they told us we are not allowed to park over 2 hours or walk out of the parking lot, otherwise car will be towed. And since the parking lot property was not owned by target, so they cannot do anything about it. While we were there, there were quite a few other customers whose car got towed as well. And target did not do anything about it. We then went to the towing company (Pat's towing), and paid $178 in order to get our car. The receipt showed they towed our call at 6:14pm, which was immediately after we walked off parking lot. Obviously, the building manager was watching very closely to catch people walk off the parking lot in order to make money out of it. He must get kickbacks from tow Company. Target parking lot was actually very empty that time, and we indeed shopped at target. I cannot believe the retail store let these people abuse their customers. First, any retail stores I went in the city have signs about customer parking only and a parking time limit, which I do think is reasonable. However, I've never heard about a parking policy about towing customers' cars once they walk off the parking lot. Second, if the target cannot control this policy, and If towing happened so often, target should make much bigger signs to warn their customers instead of hiding these words into small signs and doing nothing about it. read more

I like shopping @ Target as they have fairly decent deals and this location allows me to buy my household supplies, toiletries and pick up prescriptions all in one location. I never liked the fact that the pet supplies are located in the opposite end of the store from everything else I need. I don't like having to walk the length of the store to complete my list. My gripe as of late with this target is with their pharmacy. My husbands doctor sent his prescriptions to their pharmacy via the computer on a wednesday. the following saturday...3 days later, we were in the store doing our monthy target run, we stop @ the pharmacy, and NOTHING was filled prescription wise!!!! 3 DAYS AFTER IT BEING SENT OVER! They filled all but 2 of his prescriptions. There were issues with the 2 that weren't filled, and it being a Saturday when we were there, no one could be contacted to rectify the situation. Here it is over a week later, and the situation has not been rectified. read more

Update: Too many customers. Too many mistakes. The people at the pharmacy work their tails off but ultimately Target sells paper towels and not prescriptions. The pharmacy suffers as a result. I've transferred my prescriptions to a pharmacy someplace else. read more

This Target gets the job done. It doesn't give me the best Target-fix, but it's better that way. And while this certainly isn't the nicest area for a Target, it's not the worst (cough, South Bay, cough). read more

This target is always well stocked, but they always ALWAYS only seem to have one or two registers open at any given time, even if there are twenty people waiting to check out. It takes forever to get out of here. read more

I love this target! They always have what I need for an okay price. Sometimes things are a little pricey here. The workers here are very friendly and I have yet to have a bad experience here yet! Super thrilled with the hours it's usually open and everything. Most days it closes around midnight and opens at 9 am which is PERFECT for me when I need to pick up something last minute. They have their own parking lot to park which is great. Hard to find parking around Massachusetts I'm learning. This is the best you'll get living in somerville because walmart is 30 minutes away. read more

This is by far the WORST target store that I have been to. As I am a fan of their stores, this is in a great many. I can understand having a bad experience once and awhile, when you hit that employee that is having a really bad day. But EVERY time that I come here I run into that employee and they are always different people. The staff does not know the stores policies at the checkout, they cannot help you find things, they even fail to keep the store clean. This store runs a serious risk of breaking my love for the chain. Here is an example of one event where the staff at this target has failed to impress: After shopping for various items, my roommate and I find ourselves debating which cat food to buy for our new cats. He talks me into this one multipack which has a little tag that says 15$ gift card with purchase. While at the checkout, our cashier, who was a verrrrrry pregnant woman, took forever trying to figure out how to scan our coupons. Finally she determined that since we printed them, they we not valid (I would like to point out that we printed them off of the target website). She scans the cat food and totals up the bill and I ask about the gift card. She says that she can't get it for me. I start to get angry and insist that she check her stores price tag. She gives us this pleading look, the I'm preggers and I can't move. Rather than call an associate to go and check the price, she makes my friend run through the store to pull the price tag thing off the wall. Once we get it to her, she turns on her light to signal a manager (note that she waited to turn the light on). After 10 minutes, and we clocked it, after our casher pushes our items aside and rings through three more people, the manager comes over. She inspects the price tag and points out the super super small print (perhaps a size 6 font next the the size 48 bold font) that says with purchase of two or more. We grumble and leave. Now the fault for misunderstanding was ours, but the way that both the cashier and manager treated us is inexcusable and fairly consistent. read more

Good place to shop. Items are clean and tidy up well. I shop here the most, better than Wal - Mart, that's for sure.

I am boycotting target (unless i REALLY need laundry detergent and i'm in a hurry...just kidding.) I had a baby shower and registered at babies r us and walmart, but some people still bought stuff at target and I ended up with duplicates/extra of things I didnt need. I went there to reutrn some of it and they have this policy: if you dont have a receipt, you can only return $70 worth per year and you will get the lowest price that the item has been in the last certain amount of days (60 maybe?) so if it went on a 1 day sale or whatever, thats the price you get. Walmart just gives you the price it's selling for with no limit. Needless to say, its SO easy to add up to over $70 and what if an item alone is over that??? So I ended up keeping a bunch of duplicates beacause I really didn't feel like hunting guests down for a receipt. No thanks, Target. I won't be shopping there anymore.(I hope!) read more

3 phone calls and 25 mins on hold and still no answer. i called to see if the baseball cards had been put on the shelf yet .boxes were there but not opened 3 hrs ago. just called again to speak to a manager on hold again , then i get can you call back in 5 mins. terrible customer service!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! still no answer.! read more
