A return to yesteryear. I was in this store yesterday and asked the first employee I came across where the item I was looking for was located. He told me he was a front of store person and didn't have any idea of where anything was located. Just then another employee was walking by so I asked her. In non understandable English she gave directions. We ended up nowhere near where we should have been. We then came across two employees who also gave us broken English directions, which also did not get us to where we needed to be. We left the store and went elsewhere. I LOVE target. I only wish this location was a little bigger. I find that they tend to be out of the things I am looking for. Other then that I am a big fan. I fill all my prescriptions here, the pharmacy staff is so nice and helpful. read more

Starbucks review. Horrible service. Employee was on break which i get. Sign said be back by a certain time. Waiting, time comes and no one there. I notice a person sitting down and get up and walk past me. Thought it was a customer until i walked away and they went behind register. Great customer service skills. This is like another hangout for me besides Border Cafe and Harrington's Pub. I love the store layout and I was in line early early morning when the store first opened over ten years ago (yes I got a free stuffed Target dog). I can't stand Walmart and I realize Target may be a slight pricier on some items but honestly I think it's worth it for the wonderful shopping experience Target offers. I write this review for you all while my shoes marinate in the all too common puddles of neon yellow urine that seem to be decorating the bathroom of this building. Standing before me is a doorless stall with a seat so encrusted in dried, sticky shit that I'm not quite sure if theres even a toilet in there. The sinks are backed up and so too are the urinals and the only words that I find in this bathroom are not the usual "employees must wash hands" or "please flush," but rather "fuck you" and "suck my dick" written again and again with what must have been a finger covered in excrement. The only decorum of this spot are the equally lovely drawings that seem to have been done in the style of a toddler, only with a theme of a more mature nature; crudely drawn genitalia entering astonishingly large holes. It's amazing the amount of time and focus that these must have taken to complete, especially considering that they seem to have been executed from the same medium to which the phrases I mentioned before lend their origins--perhaps even the same author!! These images, hand-crafted from organic fecal matter, are retrospectively rather modern. I suppose they are the highlight of my experience at this Target, because at least the "artist" in question had some kind of drive and focus, and the same cannot be said about the staff of this place. I'm not entirely sure whether it's more responsible of me as a customer to pee on the floor as opposed to the toilet, because as primitive and disgusting as doing so on the floor may seem, at least then perhaps the staff will find a reason to get off of their asses in the little cafe and do some fucking work. This is one of the most disgusting department stores that I have ever been in; one reviewer before me wrote something along the lines of "the employees avoid customers like the plague," and I would not hesitate to agree with that statement. I told one gentleman working here about the situation in the men's room, a plea for help really, and a inquiry to which he replied with a curt glance and a "fuck off kid." There is an air of irresponsibility that is palpable throughout this location; I suppose throughout the franchise as a whole, but this location is exemplary in its ability to relay this notion to its customers. If you don't believe me, go see the store yourself, or even read one of the other reviews, the authors of which were certainly being lenient towards this place. There are clothes strewn among the aisles, coffee cups and trash littered throughout the store, and I even found a used baby diaper in the men's section. Honestly, I would not have been surprised if I came across a stray animal making its home in the changing rooms, which are as equally unattended as the rest of the store. The only reason that I returned to this shit-hole of a bathroom was to download the yelp app, create an account, and write this review. I am disappointed, disgusted, and frankly even infuriated with everything that this location is, and everything that this store has become. The bathroom and the attitude of the staff in this location were Target's last chance with me; there will be no more relationship with me and this business, no more customer loyalty, and no more respect unless Target takes action and responsibility for their faults. In the meantime, I will be sure to tell all of my friends, family, and coworkers to steer clear of not only this one Target location, but of all of Target's branches, and I am now striving to see the day that the business in its entirety either becomes obsolete, or fixes their problems. You fucked up big time, Target. Fix your store, clean your bathrooms, replace your employed team. It's time for you to listen to the cries of your customers and reevaluate the way that you do business, or you will be losing me, and every other infuriated customer just like me. read more

I have never written a review about a store on Yelp but this truly warrants one. I get it sucks to work during the holidays as a teenager but at the end of the day this is your job and you should probably do it with some semblance of grace and dignity. Cashier named Sean is the rudest retail person I have ever met (he was muttering cuss words under his breath)-- go pay him a visit he is the tallish redhead with acne marked skin. I go over and say hi he mutters hi in a passive aggressive way but I think nothing of it. I don't really care about how friendly and nice you are if you're quick and decent. He scans some cookies I purchased that rang up as 2.99 instead of 2 for $5 it's not a huge deal but I just ask him aren't those 2 for $5 he says " I don't know" which struck me as odd because wouldn't a normal response be "let me check that for you". I ask him if he would please check if for me he says "how? I can't check it on this thing *gestures to cash register*. "Could you do a price check?" I ask he angrily flips on the switch to call the manager over who tells Sean he can give me the discount price. After his supervisor Anthony leaves I tell Sean I have more La Croix sodas in the cart and ash him if I should bring them up or he can just scan the one and put in how many I have just to make it easier for him and he mutters what I think was "Motherfucker" under his breath which seems like an overreaction to me suggesting something that might make his job even simpler. Anyway rude kids working there and possibly mentally unstable, really no need for that.. read more

Easily the worst Target in the area. This store isn't terribly far from my home, but I happily drive towns away to do my Target runs because the Saugus store is so depressing. Poor inventory, grumpy/rude employees, dark/dank/dirty/outdated in general (it has a certain "funk" to it), no food market section like others in the area, and strange set up (why are the diapers in the complete opposite corner of the store as the baby section??). Also, there are no close parking spots because of the abundance of handicap spots - this is not meant to be rude towards those who benefit from those spots, but I've never seen more than 2-3 used at a time, KWIM? I'm shocked that this store has been seemingly ignored by corporate for as long as it has been. This store needs a complete overhaul in every way! read more

I came here after a long day at work, in dire need of a replacement phone for Boost mobile, because mine had died the day before. I was quickly prioritized by Evan in the Tech department. He was patient, courteous, and helped me get back online with my new Mobile phone, after going through the process of swapping sim cards. I will always trust this Target location with my Mobile device needs, because of there extremely competent and helpful staff. read more

I ordered 60 photo prints through the online photo center as I have in the past. I received an email confirming my order. The only difference with my purchase was that I selected to have the photos printed to target on Lynn fells parkway, Saugus whereas I had previously ordered to the Everett location. The Saugus target is closer to my house so I was pleased that they were offering photo prints at this time. I figured with the renovation of their store they had added this feature. When I arrived I asked the greeter at the front. She looked confused, but pointed to the Kodak kiosk and said "don't know if it's still broken." I went to the kiosk confused because in the past I had picked my prints up at the service center. She was right though, the Kodak kiosk screen was lit up blue with an error message and looked as if it had been that way since it was installed in the 90s. She wouldn't know that though because she didn't care to assist me at the kiosk a mere three feet away from her post. I went to the service desk and the poor young man at the front was very nice, attempting to search my name in his digital scanner. He searched the order confirmation number too. Nothing. The two women behind him briefly stopped their conversation with one another, annoyed. They said "when did you order it." I said four days ago. The older woman laughed and said "honey we get rid of your order after two days." I responded, "digital prints?" She was caught off guard. She had assumed I was talking about merchandise because she couldn't be bothered to listen to what I was in search of. This angered her. She said we don't do that go to the Kodak kiosk. I went back to the kiosk around the corner in hopes she pushed some secret button that magically made it wrong, because this isn't a woman that can be corrected. Yup, kiosk still broken. I returned to the service center to tell the high school girl that the Kodak kiosk was down. She said "it shouldn't be" and half pretended to pick up an obscure binder as if the answer lies in its pages. But she didn't even open it before turning around and continuing her conversation. Target, don't offer print pick-up from your online photo center at locations that have no idea what it is. read more

I went there to purchase a new phone and waited over an hour for the sales rep to help me. HE was nowhere to be found not a single employee could tell me if there was any iPhones in stock not even the store manager. I even called the target store to see if anyone can help me with phones before I came and I waited with my newborn baby. When he did finally arrived he was extremely rude and reeked of cigarette smoke. He wasn't really willing to help me or go over any of the plans at all in regards to the iPhone. I've been a loyal target customer with the target red credit card. I shop there regularly and spend close to 5000 annually or more there.The saugus store has really gone downhill for customer service.I continually see lots of employees walking around and just talking and never helping the customers. I've always shopped at target because I believe that they have a clean , comfortable shopping environment however I probably will now go to Walmart on route one. I no longer use the The pharmacy either because the lady who checks you out there on a regular basis is extremely rude and never wants to help you. read more

Worst customer experience ever.  Went to get the black Friday deal with the $250-$300 dollar gift card on the iPhone 8/galaxy s8.  The order system kept going down and the sales associate could not process any phones.  Luckily I live close could go back, but still after many hours no luck (there was one woman who had been there since 6 am.)  After waiting hours Kimberly A who claimed she was the store manager came over about 7 pm! She said she would not honor the deal even though the system they use was down claiming it was not Target's responsibility (It is not the customer's responsibility for the system, its Target's Kimberly A).  She claimed she did not know the district managers number and only his name Andy G when I asked for it (She had her cell phone on her hip so this was most likely a lie). Just totally unacceptable customer experience from Kimberly A.  In my company she would be fired or at the very least issued a verbal warning for this lack of customer focus. read more

Same as all the other ones, it's a target, but this isn't the best target. Prefer the Revere or Reading store. Did have a great experience with this wonderful older woman who traveled all the way to the back to grab an item for my wife and I. I come here before going to other places on route 1, "Wally-world" (Walmart). read more

i love Target and this one is nice and clean. good variety and usually helpful staff, although once the fitting room woman ignored me (she clearly saw me) as i was waiting at the fitting room desk. Finally i got tired of waiting and walked in myself on the way out she asked for the number-tag, I said I didn't have one. She clearly wasn't happy but didn't say anything else to me. read more
