As soon as my husband and I arrived we were pleasantly welcomed by Zabdi, one of the designers. She was informative, efficient and incredibly helpful. It's only been a few weeks and I've already contacted to schedule our delivery. This was exceptional from beginning to end, and I will highly recommend them! Not to mention that it was tax-free weekend - missed opportunity for them. While we waited in line, other people just walked in the door because they only had 1 person scanning tickets at a time. No one was watching the actual door. Then, when you go in, they forced you to sit in the middle of the row (and each row was looooooooooooong!), so we were in the smack middle of a row, and the rows are tight, so you can't easily move from that part of the row. We had to inconvenience 30+ people to get in-and-out of the rows, and people weren't nice about it. We got concessions and were told that there would be free refills, but then once you get into the theater, they said, actually concessions will close 15 minutes after the movie started. And the movie is 3 hours, but there is literally no way you could actually use the restroom during the show -- people would kill you if you had to walk in front of 30+ people, so I didn't even enjoy the concessions because I couldn't sip my drink. And exiting, they had one door open - safety hazard. I don't recommend seeing the movie in IMAX here. They're not prepared for the volume.

When I called other furniture specialists, they gave me ridiculous quotes of at least $1000 and up! The table only cost around $200 to start with! Diana, on the other hand, not only gave extremely reasonable quotes ($80-300 depending on the damage), but also provided me with FREE, extremely detailed instructions on how I could DIY my table and fix it myself. She gave me friendly instructions over the phone, and then sent me a very detailed email to recap what she said! Diana even offered to help me out if I sent her pictures of my DIY work! In the end, my roommate wanted a new table rather than a fixed one. However, I cannot recommend Diana enough. Her sincere love for her work + altruistic tendencies make her deserve 5-stars all the way. You will absolutely NOT get scammed if you ask her for a quote, unlike all these other furniture repairmen in Boston!

Back at the end of summer last year (~August 2020) I placed an order with an associate at the Burlington location using a gift card that wouldn't go through online. She assured me that the order for a console table and several decorative boxes would go through simply and I would be contacted for shipping and delivery options. Months went by. MONTHS. During which time I called and emailed multiple times and showed up to the store on several different occasions. During a global pandemic, I might add. I was finally able to get the original associate to find the order (which she had forgotten to place several times and only put through after my fourth call) and see that the console table I had wanted wasn't actually available anymore (when I would have found out this information without going into the store one can only guess at). She found a 'replacement' and said that we would be all set... Fast forward to December 28th. Still nothing; neither package, nor call, nor email letting me know where my order was even after more phone calls to the store. At this point the manager of the store was sick of hearing my voice at the end of the call, which was fun for me as a customer. On December 28th I reached out to corporate customer service to explain how poor of an experience I had and see if I could get any help. I could go into far more detail here but anyone reading this gets the point - it's April 8th now and I STILL do not have my console table. The customer service person was able to get me the decorative boxes fairly quickly... and then that was followed by even more errors, miscommunications and a clear disregard for my 'small' order (of over $1,000, I might add). Word to the wise here; their prices are not worth the hassle nor the outcome. Once I get my furniture delivered (if ever) I will never be dealing with Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams again.

Then Funiture Protection Company said it's over 30 days of stain, they won't fix. Recently, I wanted to decorate for a tea time themed quincena party so I visited and to my delight I found beautiful tea cup sets, extra tea pots, baskets and even a Louis 14 style armchair for the guest of honor. Usually though, I visit Savers to get denim clothing items for my kids: I can find the brands we like in great condition for a fraction of the price I would spend buying brand new and they definitely make it through the few months that my growing kids wear them.
