When we arrived to look at couches, the sales person barely looked up. With no customers in the store, we assumed she might assist us. She did not. We continued our search and spoke to a more friendly sales person. She spent a few minutes with us, then went off with someone who had already purchased a large amount of items and handed us off to someone who had her first day. That gal stayed with us about five minutes, walked away, and when we approached her to purchase, she told us she had to go and get some information. Limited sincerity, commitment, and friendliness by all three employees. we also looked at some accessories to go along with the couch, but never had an opportunity to purchase them. After our third rejection from the employees, we left the store. It seems evident they care only for specific clientele, perhaps? Our willingness to succumb to their exorbitant prices made no difference to their commitment to customers. They each made it clear that they received commission on every purchase. This Company names all of their chairs with the same first name, and they abbreviate them all with the same letters. Our family wanted to get us a housewarming gift, and they accidentally ordered Nomad Snow chairs when we needed Nomad Stone to match our table. NMD SN versus NMD ST. This mistake is easy to make when the company names their chairs so similarly. When we called to ask them to change the color before they even arrived to our home, they asked us to pay delivery + restocking fees. For our dining room chairs, this meant $700 just to make a color change because the color names were so similar !! This company is a sham !!! Nobody at customer service would help us whatsoever. All of their managers were unavailable. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE !!! You will be very, very disappointed. read more

Let's see... -Cheap quality. I read a review that someone wrote "it's a Restoration Hardware knockoff." Couldn't be any more accurate! -Customer service claim is still pending on defects.(it's been 2 weeks now) -The interior designer crams furniture in so they can try and sell you things you don't need. Defects are: -Purchased 2 kavali tables to be side by side behind our couch. The Legs are crooked and don't align. - the Novali couch is cheaply made. My elbow went right through the armrest. Arm rest is formed with particle board. - designer suggested an end table that's way higher than the couch arm rest and her program used to design miscalculated the dimensions and is too big for the space. We will see how they respond to our claim, whenever that will be... based off other reviews read, I won't be holding my breath. read more

I found a beautiful sleep sofa with the help of Moira, who answered my questions with ALL the detail I needed. She sent a packet of swatches that were the warm tones of gray I had hoped for. Absolutely horrible quality for the price. Was delivered a defective sofa, had to wait for months to get a replacement. The replacement is now ripping and the nails are coming apart from the sofa, The rug purchased is now all stringy. I was told from customer service that I should be rotating it and was questioned on what type of vacuum I was using? I was never given any instructions. I have had a wonderful experience with Arhaus in Paramus, NJ. My salesperson Keevah Farhi was very helpful all the time( and not at all pushy. ) I was in the process of renovating an apartment I just bought, and I was extremely stressed out by all the people I had been dealing with. But Arhaus made all of my decisions easier, by allowing me flexibility , if necessary. I kept adding onto my original order, because sales were coming up, plus I received a greater discount for buying more. The delivery service was white glove and wonderful. The delivery company's phone system was nerve wracking, but the people who I dealt with in the stores were able to intervene. I also received a home visit from Michelle the in house designer; with continual follow up; that did not just end after delivery, Both the assistant and main manager were always available to help and make things fair to me. My furniture is all beautiful and comfortable in a cozy and classic way, I will continue to buy Arhaus furniture, starting with a dining table as a gift for my son and daughter-in-law's new house. Got me confused with another Indian customer...provided terrible customer service. Paula Jacobson was supposed to design the floor plan, told me to come in wasted my time and then also got the size mixed up with another Indian customer. This was suppose to be an exciting and fun experience but came here to reiterate the god awful customer service. I would rather fly to Ohio to purchase from headquarters. Very disappointed. She argued and was adamant that the the floor plan was correct and that I emailed the incorrect sizes. This was not the case and then finally called me back and agreed that the space was small but barely acknowledged the mistake on her end and said she didn't want to talk about it. ( with the water stains on it) He tried so hard, and said that this fabric was one of the TOP THREE WORST fabrics he sees. Only go for the velvet or microfiber. Think Pottery Barn or West Elm but much, much better. The merchandise is funkier, made of better materials and sold for good prices. I was so pleased to see a cross section of their upholstered furniture, displaying tied springs and layers of batten. As opposed to stores telling me why their wares are so superior without any peek under the hood. Lots of the furniture, accessories and linens are Indian and Asian in origin or inspiration. Solid, eco-friendly woods are used. Some original pieces of Sheesham wood from India are available for prices that might make Mohr and MacPherson wince. read more

I have bought my huge living room couch (can fit about 10 people on it), tree trunk coffee table, and matching side tables, lamps, accessories, dining room, kitchen table, and matching chairs from Arhaus. I love, love their stuff. The rest of our house is basically Pottery Barn and West Elm but when I found this store I fell hard! It's not your everyday Jordan's, or Bob's (God help us!), or Bernie, and whatevers. It's fun furniture that people ask about when they come in your house! Horrible! Customer service "concierge " is a joke. My furniture Which took 15 weeks to arrive was damaged (broken in half chair leg) and leather on sofa was flawed. This store has some of the coolest looking stuff around. Most of the furniture stores around have slight variations on furniture but Arhaus is in a different world. Some of their furniture built out of recycled items looks amazing and is so damn cool. Think chandeliers built out of glass bottles, tables built with old gears, and tables built out of used copper. Prices can be high but are warranted. We come in time to time to look for markdowns as they are always rotating stuff out. We snagged a great accent chair recently for only 250$. One downside is that the staff can be aggressive, seems commission based, they will follow you no matter what you say! read more

I ordered a desk set online after viewing it in store. When it arrived the wood was clearly not the same color as what I had seen in-store, but not quite different enough to bother sending it back. Within two years of light use, the finish on the top began to discolor and wear off. Worse, the finish on the legs--supposedly powder coated steel--started to come off as well. It left greasy, black stains on my pants and chairs. When I contacted customer service, they initially tried to claim (falsely) that these damages weren't covered under their warranty. Now they're saying that they can't do anything because no one else has reported similar problems. In short: I didn't get what I ordered, then it fell apart after two years, and now customer service is trying to block me from getting help. Not what I expected from a very expensive piece of furniture. read more

If you want to buy furniture that looks nothing like the showroom samples when they arrive to your home, then Arhaus is the place to deliver it. Every single cushion on the sectional I ordered was over filled, the ottomans looked like square mushrooms, the crown was so high. Sooo, the next step was to have a tech come out to check out the problem. He stated that the furniture looked like it was made at different times, hence the problems with the cushions. In addition if you sat anywhere near the edge you slide right down in between the cushions to the frame underneath. After dozens of phone calls back & forth, customer service never fixed the problem, despite the tech's report stating the defects. I have since found out the manufacturer was Modern McCreary. Stay away from this brand! This was a $5,000 mistake! The customer service with this company does nothing! read more

We bought a considerable amount of furniture (five figures) from Aurhaus Burlington three months ago, and we have yet to see a single stick of it. First, it took a couple months to get the furniture to the warehouse, then they told us that the delivery contractor would be calling us to set up a delivery date. We're still waiting for that call and we're having a difficult time getting anyone there to give a crap about our plight. It is infuriating that they would bank our money three months ago and we're still sitting on boxes. If I had it to do over again, I would have bought elsewhere. Furniture is great. Sales experience in store was quite good too. Everything else I have to say is "bottom of the barrel bad". The company has the worst customer service I have ever experienced, from top to bottom. They also have no grasp of logistics or how to get the stuff that you paid for from point A to point B. I have worked directly with Corporate, Store Manager and "Regional Manager" on an embarrassing trail of screw ups, and they fail every time. They do not communicate proactively, they do not apologize for gross errors on their part, and they expect the customer to initiate solving problems. I spent close to $20k in one day, and have regretted it for the last 4 months. I still do not have my stuff after 4 months, and no one cares!!! If you value your time, if you value quality service, look elsewhere. These guys are not pros. read more

I wish I had read the reviews from other customers who still haven't received their stuff after many months of waiting. Agree with the "bottom of the barrel bad" commenter. I'm on month-three waiting for a couch. Was told I'd have it mid-April, then was pushed out to early-May, and was just called yesterday (the day before they were supposed to deliver the couch) and told that they have had trouble getting the truck on the road and don't know when they'll be able to deliver the couch. Sales ladies are hapless and seem to have zero knowledge of what happens at the warehouse--they talk about it like it's some mysterious place they can't communicate with--and have zero control over when you get your stuff. They also lied to us about when we'd get our couch. Said mid-April in the showroom when we bought it, and then changed their tune when mid-April came around. They said, "well, we meant it might be done by mid-April and then we could schedule a shipment for a month later." Seriously bad customer service. You might never get your stuff. I bought a bedroom set there a few years ago. Very smart looking and super heavy. I am now looking for a coffee table and am seriously considering 2 of them but upon initiating a few on line chats they don't have them in their showroom. I can get to both Burlington and natick with absolute ease so between these stores why isn't there at least one. So then I ask if I ordered it and it was too big or didn't fit the room nicely could they return it? Oh certainly for a 10 percent restocking fee? when you're talking about an 800 coffee table on sale no less it would be nice to know that you aren't beholdent to keep something you can't see in person. As a former furniture store manager from a competitor I was extremely pleased with my purchase. Sales/designers were friendly and approachable in this location at the mall. The purchase was easy and the delivery was very smooth. I purchased an in stock item that was in my home within 2 weeks. We had a great experience with Sheryl at the Arhaus in the Burlington Mall. When we purchased our sectional special fabric order couch, she told us it would take 12 weeks to come in. But after 7 weeks, she called me, and said it would be shipping the following week. Arrangements for delivery were easy, done by a computerized phone call. It arrived on time, and the delivery men were great, wearing booties, so as not to get my new floors dirty. All in all, very pleased with our Arhaus experience... only downside was that we spent more money than we originally planned... even with a sale, still on the pricey side. But it seems like a very durable couch, so hopefully will last for many, many years to come! read more

Awesome place! An incredible array of styles and furnishings. I had gone to over a dozen stores looking for a sectional couch that would fit through a smaller exterior door and into a basement tv room. Glad I stumbled into Arhaus, because not only did they have something that would fit, it was the most comfortable couch we had seen. And yes, the 90 day wait was a bit long. But I knew about it up front and when they are making your couch to order, I guess that's what you have to deal with. In the end I am very happy with our purchase. read more

Their merchandise is excellent, good quality and great styles. but that is where the good part stops. the customer service is nonexistent. i do not like to complain and scream about not getting good service but this is just the limit. there is no communication between the store and you and you will not know when or if your merchandise will arrive. i bought furniture for over $10K and had to keep calling over and over to try to schedule my pieces-and this is after the so called 10-12 weeks scheduled for delivery. they do not give a damn about what the customer expects or what they can do to take care of the customer, they only go by what they want to do. this is not the only furniture store in town and if you can find similar stuff in other stores, go for it!!!! read more

Their furniture is beautiful - interesting and high quality. But the customer service is awful from start to finish. Our salesperson was clueless, for the purchase of a single ottoman the paperwork took 45 minutes to complete... worst of all they charge $170 for delivery, which is mandatory. There is no way for a customer to pick up a piece at a store or warehouse, even though we only purchased an item that could easily have fit into our SUV. Delivery (9 weeks after purchase) was scheduled for between 8:00 - 4:00. Then the day before delivery I was told that it would be delivered between 5:30 - 7:30pm, then the delivery driver called at 2:30 and said he'd be at my home in 15 minutes. Buy your furniture somewhere else. Any other furniture store is better to deal with. read more

Stay away. The showroom is attractive, many nice looking designs. The quality is mediocre for the price. The customer service is non existent. I had to go around the store to get a salesperson to help me. I waited forever to get spec sheets printed. There were several sales people doing nothing. I placed an order for a sofa and deposited 50%. The sales person ordered the wrong sofa and charged the full amount to my card. I called to correct the error. The sofa was $3000. The manager didn't seem concerned in the least. The item was in the warehouse when I bought it, yet no one called for delivery within 2 weeks later. When I called, the salesperson asked why I was calling.. Was I notified it was in the warehouse? I said no, it was already in the warehouse when I bought it 2 weeks ago and I have not received one call! She reluctantly checked on the order and told me the order could be delivered to me in 2 weeks. That's the best they could do she said. "She said she knew the didn't have good service!!!! " Seriously?! I should have cancelled it. I've had so much construction going on after winter ice dam problems I didn't want to start again for a sofa! But I should have. This store does not care if they get your business. They don't care if you're satisfied or not. They don't care if you ever come back! They don't care if the order is delivered..,,,they write orders and get payment... Period.. No more no less. The delivery guys were not up to par either. I do not recommend Arhous. I was hoping that these customer service stories were flukes, but alas, I was on the verge on cancelling my order with this company. I ordered a couch on February 8th, among other pieces of furniture. I was told to expect it by the end of March. Today is May 16th, and the couch was just delivered this morning. Oh, and earlier in May, we received a call from the store notifying us to expect the couch on 5/9, but then that delivery was somehow cancelled. The store claimed they notified us of the cancelled delivery, but between two cell numbers and two email addresses they had on file, my husband and I did not receive any notification. We only found out when we called the store to confirm the time window of delivery for 5/9. Yesterday, I got an automated call to expect the delivery between 11:30am and 1:30pm. At 9:20am, the delivery guy calls and tells me he's five minutes from the house. I had to leave work in a rush to meet them. They scratched my floor, didn't want to move a small futon to make way for the couch (said they were running late! How are they running late if they came 2 hours early!?), knocked over my dog's food and water bowl. UGH never again! read more

Let me start with saying I love Arhaus Furniture design - beautiful. I have purchased many pieces from Arhaus, Edina, MN. The last purchase, let me be clear, last time that I will shop there, was a leather sectional for our family room. This piece was to be extremely comfortable and a great place for our family to gather to visit and watch movies. The promised arrival date was July 2016, in time for our daughter's wedding the beginning of August. That never happened and the furniture was finally delivered August 24, 2016. I mention the upholstery choice was a nice grade of leather, like what is on display in the store, soft and comfortable. What we received was leather that has a high polished finish, so slippery that you actually slide off and throw pillows won't stand up. The cushions are very firm, I did not upgrade the cushion insert to firm. A complaint call about our sectional was not made until October due to the fact we were busy and not home much after delivery. When I did call I was directed to contact the corporate concierge for assistance. Well starting with extremely long hold times, followed by send photos (the sectional looks beautiful - no damage - not sure how that was suppose to help) and ended with the sectional needs to break in. I needed someone to actually come out to our home to actually see and feel what the problem was. Never happened. It is now 10 months since we took delivery and we are still very unhappy with our expensive, uncomfortable, slippery sectional. Arhaus Furniture rates a zero in customer service. read more

I recently went through a move and purge phase and am in the market for lots of new furniture. After a fact-finding mission at the usual suspects on Route 9 I was on my way home when I spied Arhaus. I thought, what the heck, I'll see what this place is all about. I am really glad that I stopped in. I'd say the furniture they have is modern meets European country meets southeast Asia. Honestly, when I first walked in I didn't think it was really my style but I was wandering around there by myself for a good half hour (the store isn't that big) without a salesperson tailing me the whole time, which was a nice change. Yes, it's more expensive than say Jordan's, but you get what you pay for. It was also the first store I visited that had multiple options for entertainment centers that looked like real furniture. Sometimes you just want to hide the TV, why don't more furniture stores get that? read more

We're in the honeymoon phase with our new cabinet. Soooo pretty and works well with our room and other furnishings. I stepped into Arhaus about 2 weeks ago and loved what I saw. Interesting looking pieces, well-made and a fair price for the level of quality. Our cabinet is solid, and handmade from Acacia wood (sustainable), and beautifully designed. Their pieces are made for both style and function. Their staff is knowledgable and many of them have been with the company for years, even though the Natick store has only been open for about 18 months. It's a good feeling to know that they (the staff) are just as infatuated with the place as their customers. I'll definately be back! read more
