I love Target so of course I'm going to Yelp about every one I go to..lol. Great customer service, plenty of checkouts that don't have a million people in them, clean bathrooms and even got greeted on the way in which does not happen in the ones I've been to in California. A kid dropped his popcorn and was immediately given another one without having to pay while another employee cleaned up the mess. Awesome. This is my "go to" Target. I like it for many reasons: It's near my house. Its near my bank. It's clean and neat. The people are nice. It has a grocery section- which is nice but I don't grocery shop here. It has a Starbucks! It's open Sundays. It has a pharmacy. And much more... I actually sometimes just go in to get Starbucks. Every time I've gone in the Starbucks baristas are great. Very talkative and sweet. It is a Super Target so it's pretty much all inclusive. If you need it, they more than likely have it. Around 10:45 am this morning I visited the Target store in Sandy Utah, off of State street. Roughly minutes before I went to a car wash. After the wash, I went around my truck with a towel to soak up any additional water. Then proceeded to the Target store. I parked directly in front of the north door of the store. I ran in to see if you had a 1" audio cable. I may have been in the store 10 to 15 minutes tops. My truck was the second vehicle in the lot. As I approached my truck noticed some damage. I walked up to inspect it. There was a car next to it, with a woman sitting in the driver's seat, on her phone. She was waiting for someone to come out of the store. I know this because the other person walked up & got in the car as I was standing there. She wouldn't make eye contact with me. I tried to get her attention, to ask if she saw anyone near my truck, although she just backed out & drove away. The passenger seemed more curious about me than the driver. There was no car in that space when I arrived at the store, it was a handicap stall. I got in my truck and started to leave, then stopped & thought to go ask if the store was able to see anything on video. So, I parked my truck & went back into the store. I asked an employee who I could talk with & he directed me to a young lady walking our direction. She asked me when it happened, what type & color of the truck I had, where I was parked, which I pointed right outside the door in front of us. She said she would go the security guy & verify if they could see anything on video. A few minutes later she returned & said I needed to file a police report first. I ask, "Was there anything on the video?" She stated security can only turn the video over to the police. I said, I totally understand that I just want to know if you were able to see anything that would justify a police report being filed at your store. She claimed they wouldn't even look at the footage until I file a police report. I told her I wouldn't file a report without "some" form of proof. I didn't want to pull police resources off the street without verification from Target. She said "I'm sorry that's what I was told by our Security Dept. So, I either file a police report & hope video shows something. Or, live with the damage & pay for it myself. I thought it was somewhat comical when the lady standing in the Customer Service line next to me, commented as I was about to walk away "they probably don't want you to know it was one of their cart guys. Why else would they require a police report before even looking sat the video? As a former manager at Sam's Club, a police report was not required to simply review video footage. Targets Response: We apologize about the experience you had at your local Target location. You will need to file a police report to have the video footage pulled for review. This SuperTarget is a-ok. They have all of the regular stuff most Target stores have but the thing that separates this location from the pack is their awesome grocery section. Pretty much the entire left half of the store is devoted to food and groceries. Sometimes the sale items aren't in stock (they could do a better job with that) but they have a ton of registers and you rarely have a long wait to check out. read more

I must confess...I do frequent this Target. It's not my "always must one stop shop", I do try to branch out and see the big wide world. But, if I'm there, 99% of the time this is why: 1) The $1 bins. I teach piano lessons and need cute cheap prizes. They have them in abundance, and with a pretty good rotating variety. 2) The clearance racks. Sometimes they just have some really cute shirts for under $5. And how can you say no to that?? It's a part of my genetic make-up. I can't help it. 3) To browse the home decor. This very seldom leads to a purchase, but I like to see what they have. This location doesn't seem any busier to me than any other I've been to, but I usually try to avoid the weekends, so I can't vouch for those times. The shoes have always seemed a little too pricey. The food sections are full of instant stuff that I always regret later and am teaching myself to truly avoid. There are tons of great things here that I do spend plenty of time browsing when I have time to kill. Look long enough, you'll find something you want! And it feels a little less immoral than the other big box giant. read more

This Target is INSANITY!! Maybe it's common in Utah, but I have never been to a Target with a full grocery store inside. And I mean they have fresh fruits, veggies, meats EVERYTHING. My boyfriend looked kind of embarrassed because I was seriously going crazy in here. I love Target, I love food....this place is heaven! They just have a huge selection of everything including a very impressive cosmetics department, ski clothes, Starbucks and Dreyer's ice cream. There were also TONS of clothes on sale. Their sale section was the size of the entire clothes section at my local Target. While I love that they have SUSHI. I think it is way overpriced. I know there is no ocean in Utah, but still $8.99 for a roll?? Those are restaurant prices. My suggestion is to skip the sushi and go for the $1.19 mini bucket of chocolate dipped macaroons. This is a really fantastic SuperTarget. It still has the green "script" on the front, and the classic Target neon signs throughout the store. We were in a hurry and even with 6 of 32 checklanes open, they were quick to open back-up lanes, so thanks Target for helping get us on our way. Target is my happy place, sometimes I like to go and just walk around. I mean who wouldn't like this place? You're greeted by the smell of Starbucks and soft pretzels when you walk in. First stop, dollar bins. Because you can always use more cheap crap in your life. I love that Target always has lots of great clearance finds! And again, if it's cheap enough it'll probably end up in my cart whether I need it or not. They have so many ways to save money: coupons, redcard (save 5%), cartwheel, price matching and reuseable shopping bags. So thank you Target for being the place where I can go for some me time and get my shopping done! read more

I choose to pay more at target for the cleanliness and better customer service. Today I did my grocery shopping and there was not a single checkout station open. When I did self check out I put the bags I had filled back in to my cart and someone from the store came over and said I couldn't put any bags in my cart until it was completely empty, yet the check out space has no room for more than two bags. I was told to put my groceries on the floor. There was a mom with some kids next to me doing the same thing and also questioning why the bags of checked out items could not be added back to the cart. So let's be clear that you are required to wear a mask to keep eachother safe, but they are not willing to have cashiers open resulting in me putting all of my purchases on the dirty floor of the store. If you are not going to have cashiers open and require people to check their own groceries out, then you better trust them enough to do so. I will be going elsewhere from here on out. Its a mess-always. I literally saw an employee throw the stuff in the bins. The Holiday sections are never fully stocked and when you ask for employees to check they seem put out. I got married in early June and registered at target and Amazon. Ever since starting the registry we've had nonstop problems with target. Upon starting a registry me and my husband went in store to add items to our registry. A team member rudely told us that we are unable to do that because everything has been moved to online. Which is so inconvenient for a newly married couple couple trying to organize their home. I had to take picture of every item and then go home to manually add every barcode on every item we wanted which took 2 hours. Right after getting married we took back multiple items that we got multiples of and received a merchandise return card worth $200. Just recently we decided to use that money for some Christmas gifts. Having never used the card before. at checkout, we were told that the balance of the merchandise card was $0. We've never used this card so there's no way it has $0. Months After the wedding we were looking at our registry and realized there were multiple items that have been ordered for us but we never received. When i brought this issue to guest services, they stated that there's nothing they can do since the item is out of stock they wouldn't even give me store credit in replace for this. I've been repeatedly disappointed with targets registry and customer service and will never recommend this to my friends/family. read more

I LOVE TARGET! But this store is always such a mess. I've worked at a target on the Big Island and it was always super clean and organized. And the people were always so willing to help. When I came here and asked a team member for help, they made me feel so uncomfortable and I was such a burden. Then in the self-check out I accidentally scanned something twice and when I asked them to remove it the lady literally was like "ugh seriously" under her breath. I've gotten bad service from here before but never wrote a review. After this experience I just had to. Sorry target, but management needs to work on getting more enthusiastic employees or building a better work environment so their employees are happier all around. read more

Only reason I ever go to target anymore is to pick up a few groceries to bring back to the office since it's so close. Ahhh Target. This is a typical Super Target. Typical Target fare. They usually have a bit more product than what I can find at my Target in Riverdale. There's a great selection of grocery items, both fresh and shelved. There's a Starbucks inside which is always a welcome oasis. A solid Target. I freaking love this place. read more

I applied to work here. I got a call from the hiring manager offering me the position and going through the questions such as availability etc.. she said she would send me the on boarding paperwork. I waited two days for it then at 10:00 pm two days later I got an email saying that the store wasn't going forward with my application. Totally fucked thing to do to someone during a pandemic. I love Target for what it offers and don't really care how the service is because I'll go there anyways for the products alone. But I just have to say that the customer service at this Target is AMAZING! It is refreshing to go in and feel like they want you there. Of course there are the occasional employees who act like you're bothering them when you ask them a question, but the good employees definitely make up for it. The employees I have come in contact with have gone above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. I wish I could remember her name, but there was a gal that helped me at the customer service desk who was just the nicest. Keep it up, Target! You are beating Walmart by a landslide when it comes to customer service (at least compared to the Walmart off Quarry Bend in Sandy... I stopped going there because the employees were so rude). Target gets 5 stars. When you compare it to other big department store of its kind, you would agree. Go visit one of the others and then come talk to me. You won't help but notice how clean the store is and how friendly the staff is. Prices might be a bit higher on somethings but they beat the other store on other things too. This target has a full grocery store in it... And I'm not really fan of that ( to Walmarty for my taste.) The staff here is so so. The the way the store is organized is confusing. There are usually two or three set ups of target stores and this one doesn't follow any of them. It threw me off so much that i forgot a bunch of stuff i needed! :( read more

When we stayed in a hotel nearby because of a fire that was burning in our area,I forgot some things & was able to find what I needed.The prices are very reasonable & the salads from the deli were very delicious.I would recommend this store for shopping at!I wish we had one by us.I love this store! read more

They really have great quality items that look great but are a good value too. I don't grocery shop here. You can definitely buy food cheaper elsewhere. This is "my" Target, and so I might be a little biased. I love this store, they always have just what I need, plus 20 other things that I just happened to grab on the way to the check-out. The store is always well stocked, clean and staffed appropriately. I love the clearance racks and stalk them hoping my picks will come down in price. The only bad thing about this particular location is the baby section is not as big as in other locations. After going to several stores not finding the color I wanted I went to the Sandy Target and found the exact color of towels, wash cloths and rugs I wanted for my bathroom. Price was within reason and I thought the quality was very good. I was very excited. I have always liked Target and am sure I will going there again for some Christmas shopping. read more

The store is clean and usually not too busy. The prices are fair, but sometimes they don't have items that you would think you could find at a grocery store. I also use the pharmacy here and they usually aren't that busy either, but sometimes they aren't that friendly. I love to look at what they have on clearance and you can get some great deals here. read more

This Super Target was alright. I think it was just like any other target I have been too. They never have enough cashiers working so the lines can get backed up. But they have really good sushi!! I like to always pick one up when im there. They have good wasabi. read more

I've been meaning to post this review for a while. My wife went into this super target a couple months ago and noticed a great deal on a bbq grill. Turns out it was so great because it was tagged incorrectly. The manager explained to us that he would be unable to sell us that grill for the price it was marked due to the error and was very friendly about it. He even offered to give us extra savings on the grill to make it up to us. He was very apologetic and super polite when we informed him we would have to think about it. After a while we decided that it was still a great deal and that we would purchase it. The manager personally helped us load it up and ring it up for the correct price and couldn't have been more help! I wish I remembered his name, but if you are looking for a great shopping experience with people who care, go shop this target! read more

Do not ask wedding registry for help over the phone, they don't want to help You. Immediately told me they couldn't look up registry, couldn't find name even though we just looked It up on line. Would not give me a chance to give bride's name and when I asked if someone else could help me hung up on me. Husband called back and manager just as rude. Guess her employee pays her pay check as we won't be contibuting anymore. Bed Bath and Beyond here we come, they were fabulous last wedding. read more
