I don't often go to Target, but when I do, I spend more than I plan to. It's all good stuff, cute clothes, nice things for the home, new toys for the kids, fun stuff for the dog, and this one has a grocery right inside! Target didn't have all the stuff on my grocery list, but it had the basics. I considered briefly how great it would be to do my grocery shopping here, but then realized I'd be spending hours and a lot more money (not on grocery) here if I decided to do that. They also have a Starbucks right by the entrance. Target has always been a favorite of the masses for as long as I can remember. My friends and I would go to Target when we were in high school and have an absolute blast shopping for stupid things we didn't need. Now I'm happy that Target provides online shopping, where I can have an absolute blast shopping for things I don't really need in the comfort of my own home. Shop online and pick it up at Target in about 2 hours or have it delivered straight to your home/work place. Why? To avoid the crowds, and the lines, and the parents screaming at their screaming children, and people complaining, and yadda yadda. It can be an anxiety inducing experience especially on the weekends, but it's still way, way, way better than Walmart. I think their customer service is just fine. Some of the staff are nice enough, some are too friendly and chatty, and some are weirdos or not friendly at all. I can't really be bothered much about their customer service since most of my interactions are at the check out when all I care about is getting out of there as fast as I can. 5 stars because Target has online shopping, easy returns, good quality products for a reasonable price, and also a brick-and-mortar place for those who still enjoy trekking out there to shop for hours. read more

So disappointed today. My wife spent some time choosing which vacuum cleaner to get from this store as we have been a loyal Target shopper. When she finally decided to carry one and load into the cart (it is not easy for a middle-aged woman). She was told that it was the wrong price and the item could have been placed there incorrectly. I was there last night 7/18 around 9pm, ran in to get some groceries with my friend. I don't live in the area but I was on my way to San Diego. There was no cheese in stock, we needed rubber bands for our hair, also looked completely empty, but those weren't even the main issue. *note that I currently work at Target where I live so I do know how things work around the store* we were checking out at self checkout and my friend needed to go back to enter her Discount but we had already used a gift card. I asked the team member to come over, I wish I looked at her name badge but unfortunately I didn't...she was an older lady, glasses with long dark hair. Explained we used the gift card already, but needed to go back. She looked confused and was about to tell us that we couldn't go back, which I knew we could. She then asked if I work at Target(the way I interpreted was her voice sounded kinda rude/irritated) and I said I do...when she signed in I did touch the screen which is completely my fault, I should know better to not touch the screen even though I work at Target, I did apologize. But again she then proceeds to rudely say "Don't touch that" didn't kindly say to not touch the screen, or even "I know you work at Target, but please don't touch the screen" after her being confused for a couple minutes she ended up voiding the gift card and going back so we can add the discount. I don't know if it was cause it was late, but she didn't look like she knew exactly what she was doing. All in All, definitely not the best experience I've had at another Target store. read more

I absolutely love target unfortunately there're long lines all the time. Yesterday the cashier Margot (asian lady) who I went to paid was very rude, she didn't took her time to charge me, once she stop doing what she was doing she didn't say hi or anything at all not even thank you when she was done, I have to bag my own groceries. This was a clean and spacious Target. My husband and I were looking for Fitbits and this store had a variety of colors in our size. An added plus was they were on sale! All of the employees in Guest Services and in the Electronics Department were extremely helpful and courteous. Parking lot was an easy in and out. Great experience overall! read more

This is your usual Target, I would say. Plenty of parking in their private lot. They've got clothes, beauty products, shoes, electronics, produce, pharmacy. One new thing is that now they have an optometry center here. I'm not sure how that is, since I haven't gone, but I saw people at the optometry office. There are also signs promoting appointments, so I would guess that it would be easy to make one. I've always been able to find what I'm looking for here, and whenever I've talked to staff they are pretty helpful. read more

If there's a worldwide pandemic and Target Drive Up is supposed to be the safest option then maybe the pickers could actually check the expiration dates. This Target barley ever has anything in stock. It always looks like the shelves have been robbed. Unfortunately this is the on Target in the area. I went to two different Target stores yesterday. One was on Alicia and the other, which is closer to me, was this location. I never like going to this store because it's always messy, things are picked over and shelves are empty. Last night was especially bad. There was so much stuff in the aisles you could not even push a cart down the aisles without shoving all the "stuff" to the side. It was busy and there was only two registers open. The door to the stock room was open and there was so much back stock yet empty shelves were everywhere. The manager of this store should be called on the carpet. I've been to enough Target stores to know they can do better. I wouldn't be surprised if the sales are low in this location because they aren't stocking the shelves. I was so excited when we finally got a Target in our area and I will be bummed if it closes down. Come on Target- up your game. Saw a woman without her mask on in the grocery aisle yapping loudly on her phone with several employees in the same aisle. I spoke with the front end manager (store mgr not in, allegedly) who stated as a private company they don't have to enforce the state mandate to wear a mask. She said people have health reasons for not wearing a mask. Being a disrespectful jerk is not a medical condition. This store is not safe and I will not shop there again. read more

If you're looking for customer service- this is not your place. If you're looking for the price to be right on the shelf make sure you check your receipt. If you notice your receipt, you were overcharged, and go to the store to make it right, make sure they make it right! The last I checked they charge tax, but when you return something if you get a customer service person that is lazy, you won't get your tax back. Terrible customer service. I spoke with the manager over the phone, he was nice enough, but when it really gets right down to it he wanted me to help him with what item was miss marked. It's unfortunate that customer service has gone to the wind. We all know there's tons and tons of competition out there, this is why. Wow what a nice, clean, and highly organized Target to come to and do my household shopping. I received Stellar Customer Service from everyone in this store. Another plus was that this store was not overly crowded and the aisle are really wide with plenty of space and everything nicely stocked. Wow really impressed. This store also has a Starbucks inside and a nice area to enjoy your food. Plenty of parking and carts are not all over the place which is another plus. Weird pricing but it worked out. My wife was looking for toddler pants/jacket for a formal event. We found them but when we used the cartwheel app they rang as different prices. Luckily, we went to checkout with them and the cashier told us the prices were in fact clearance prices and rang up much lower. This visit worked out for us... but Target.. please fix your cartwheel. Always so disappointed in this Target, I'm not sure as to why I keep coming back. The shelves are never stocked. EVER. This is supposed to be a Super Target with more grocery items yet they never have anything. We have started driving out of our way to go to the Mission Viejo location and we live just 2 miles to this one. How can management walk around the store and see more items out of stock than actually on the shelf. It boggles my mind. As he is walking out a "loss prevention" person was chasing after him yelling. At this point I intervened. The loss prevention guy then literally backed in through the doors and told me he has the right.... oh buddy my minor has rights too. I bought a $200 target visa card from the store. Within 15 minutes of buying it the card information had been stolen and $198 taken from it. I called the store, kevin the manager wasn't real helpful, the "security" was a joke. I called corporate and they continue to shrug their shoulders and point fingers elsewhere. I called the card company that runs the target visa card and Junior was so rude I ended up hanging up on him. The moral of the story is I won't go back, and I will probably never get my $200 because no one knows what they are doing and further more they don't care. Ordered my kids a little pool, I was surprised because target had it for a good price and a two day delivery option.My 3 year old and 5 year old have been going crazy being stuck inside with all this going on so I was happy to tell them that their pool would be here today ( my delivery date was for today). I get they have a lot of deliveries right now but they shouldn't be advertising two day delivery if they can't follow through. I got an email today saying that my product just now shipped and won't be here till the 23. That's fine and all but I shouldn't have been offered two day delivery if that was the case. It's okay- it's a Target. I honestly wavered between three and four stars- 3 stars because, amazingly, it's not better than the Walmart down the street in regards to the items it has - which, in my opinion, says a lot. But customer service is an important detail and that's something Target does head and shoulders above Walmart. Today, in particular, really stood out to me in regards to the customer service. I listened as one woman was looking for a product and the gentleman they found working there tried to find the product using a little online device he had. When he couldn't find the product he told her that he couldn't and to go to guest relations to let them no it was no longer on the shelf. He was very apologetic for the missing item and the importance of having that issue corrected. Furthermore, when I was leaving, the checkout person was extremely nice and that's always a pleasant way to leave a store. read more

Target San Clemente is not adhering to the new Orange County mask rule that requires all customers and employees to wear a mask while inside a retail store. Although all employees were wearing PPE, At least 50% of customers did not have a mask on. When I asked an employee why the regulation was not being adhered to, I was told we were not aware of the requirement and only corporate, not county government can direct us to implement it. Came here again last night to pick up stuff for my daughter, and had such an unpleasant and awkward experience with the cashier, Kim. Her check stand light was still on when I walked in to her line and it was turned off after I was already in line. It was the end of her shift and she made sure I knew it with her passive aggressive comments to another employee by rudely requesting that another check stand be opened. As a healthcare professional I was appalled at the practice of disinfectant procedures being utilized when self checking out. A staff member instructs shoppers on where to stand for distancing HOWEVER the staff then wipes down the keypad, screen and touchpad with a wet paper towel ....the same paper towel used again and again on different registers. Perfect way to move germs from one register (and shopper) to another! I think we need to do training of staff people on appropriate disinfecting techniques and practice. read more
