Yesterday I purchased the SMOL Mini House Kids Bounce & Play House at the Target store in Rohnert Park, California. My grandchildren absolutely loved it and had a wonderful time playing with it. However, I was disappointed to discover that the box had been taped closed when I purchased it, and it appeared that the bounce house had been previously opened and used. The playhouse was slightly dirty, and the repair kit that was advertised on the outside of the box was missing. While the product itself was a big hit with my grandchildren, I was disappointed that what was supposed to be a new item appeared to have been returned and then resold without ensuring that all components were included and that the product was in new condition. I considered returning it, but after setting it up and seeing how much the children enjoyed it, I did not want to go through the hassle of repacking and transporting it back to the store. I hope Target will be more careful in inspecting returned merchandise before placing it back on the sales floor read more

This isn't a review on Target in Rohnert Park as much as an overall Target review. I purchased a drying rack from target on December 29, 2025 for $36.99. The first week of February 2026 it completely fell apart. The little plastic secure ends that help it slide into the rack design and stay upright, completely broke off on most of the rods. Making it impossible to stand up and stick together. It was two weeks past 30 days by time I brought the rack into target. The sales associate and the manager both informed me I could not return the rack because it was past 30 days. I then called customer service and the person on the phone informed me that my purchase was past the 30 day window to be returned. They did not take into consideration that it's a clearly defective product. They did not take in consideration that it literally broke on day 31 32 or 33 or something like that. But 30 days is their hard cut off. So unless you want to spend $36.99 every 35 days for a drying rack don't buy one from Target. In addition to that, they clearly have lost complete touch with customer service. I understand a 30 day cut off. But I also understand backing the products that you sell. Why not sell crap all the time that people have to buy more within a month or two if you have a policy that you don't even support the products you sell. I much prefer the amazing customer service at stores like Costco and Nordstrom. They are some of the only companies that care about the customer and not just shareholder profits. read more

Come on now yall.. I pulled up to electronics to grab a product and waited 8 minutes with zero help. Then I decided to call the number for guest services to see if someone could assist me and no one answered. I then walked over to the women's clothing department to flag down a Latina woman who was kind enough to go in the back to grab someone to assist me. Is it a hiring issue? Is it laziness? Bought a Nintendo switch 2 at tech services, and then went to an actual check stand to buy a controller for the console. Both employees did not offer me a protection program. I didn't realize until I literally saw the checker, Karen, deny the services... without actually asking me. I just spent over $600 and for not one, but for BOTH checkers to deny me an opportunity to insure both my products was extremely upsetting. Do better and please train KAREN the checker and the young man wearing the superhero sweater at tech, please. read more

I love the drive up. I use it frequently. The only thing Iv had issues with is my Starbucks drinks. For whatever reason sometimes the baristas will make my drink with extra things I don't add on when customizing a drink. It's nice that the baristas are trying to be nice and go extra, but please don't add on more sweeteners to a drink unless requested. Anywho big shout to Ashely! Lovely girl and so sweet. She immediately took care of getting my drink right having to go back in the store and out to the parking lot. I hope the manager sees this and Ashely gets recognized for her excellent customer service. One other time that I had a similar issue. Different associate helped me. Which she seemed bothered by it she was very short and rude. read more

Coming from 101 South, Target is within close proximity to stop and hop back on the freeway. Made a quick run in to grab a few items and I'm assuming Saturday's & Sunday's are their stocking days as they were out of a lot of stuff. At least I was able to grab a few thing that I needed & the store was clean and organized. I love shopping when items are pulled to the front, so when you're strolling down the center, you're able to view each aisle without having to go all the way through and find out nothing is there. Great place to go, but only if they have what you're looking for. read more

Why do these stores allow people/groups to harass customers outside of their doors. The last several times I have been here, there has been a group of three men who are "raising money for their program". Cash only, of course. They cannot take a "No, thank you" and leave you be. They continue to walk with you until you reach the door- only to pounce as soon as you leave the store to ask again. Last Friday, after dark, there were two younger men walking candy bars out of a plastic container. No signs, no clipboards and, of course, cash only. At noon on a Monday, I have errands to run, places to be, things to do and do not want to be stopped twice on one twenty-five minute trip to be asked for money with my four year old. It seems this group has been there every time I've gone for weeks. When I asked, I was told the same thing as at the last time. "Management is aware they are there." I stopped going to the previous Target for this reason. I can give my money to Amazon and not be asked continuously for money from random people. read more

Never get a job at any Target. It's a retail sweatshop for employees in two colors, red & white. However, ..... Rohnert Park Target is great if you are a shopper. This is always my go to store but after today I might have to go to the one in Petaluma. I like to clearance shop and I found some really nice pillows on clearance for $9 so I picked up 3 and a few other things. When I was paying at self checkout I could feel like someone was watching me when I took out my card to pay the young security guy came up to me and said "excuse me did you scan those pillows because your total should be more than what it is now" I pointed at the screen and said these are on clearance for $9 dollars. He looked surprised and walked away. Like why would I be stealing???? I get he has to do his job but why go up to people and embarrass them like that in front of everyone. Super unnecessary. I recently visited this Target after visiting the FedEx across the parking lot. It's conveniently located just off the 101. Parking is ample. And most importantly the store was clean and well stocked when I was there. I mainly looked through the office supply and toiletry sections, and thankfully I found everything I needed (a few kinds of tape, scissors, markers, hand sanitizer...). I didn't encounter many staff other than when I walked in and checked-out, but those I did encounter were friendly and welcoming. I'll definitely be back to visit this store when I visit the FedEx. read more

I had never purchased any dog food before so i wasn't sure what to buy since i never had a pet. I have been shopping at this Target location since I moved to town and I can honestly say that this store is one of my favorite Targets I've shopped in. The team members in the store greet me and offer assistance when I am struggling to find an item and even offer to check the backrooms for items, not on the floor. Today, I went in to purchase a mirror and before I exited a bump made the mirror bend and break and the AP / Security employee Analissa saw this and offered to help. The Security Team Lead overheard the conversation and checked if any glass was on the floor to ensure customer safety. Another team member in the front lanes Chase helped me fix this right away and I felt taken care of. Asides from their excellent customer service the store looks tidy and shelves are stocked with merchandise. I personally love this Target store. I always seem to have a good experience shopping here. When the store is busy employees try to take care of each customer and keep the lines moving. I truly appreciate this store's team effort to work with urgency while still delivering good customer service. read more

I used to love Target and shopped there weekly. Last month an employee named Dawson was utterly despicable to my 3 year and I sadly left in tears. Looking back I should have called the police and made a report. It's hard for me to shop there anymore because they sadly didn't fire him. They definitely lost my business. read more

I USED to shop here for necessities (toiletries), and came in on a Sunday. It was a little busy, but not hectic. Not one staff person around. The staff that I did see were running around trying to stock everything. I even saw some of the carts flying down the isles - FAST. WHO does that ?!? Out of control! Didn't see one manager helping anyone, OR any staff member trying to be of help. The shelves looked out of order, just plain shitty. I would rather go here for essentials, than any other place that won't offer the variety. This Target, IMHO, is poorly run. It needs better management, higher paying minimum wage for the employees; and probably a better HR dept. It will take them two years at best to get back up on their feet. The security of this location is a little much, actually it's too much. Petaluma security is a bunch of weirdos during the day and Rohnert Park has some who have too much to want to prove. I left ur Rohnert Park store after being so annoyed with ur Petaluma store that I went all the way to ANOTHER CITY to shop at another location. I was shopping on behalf of a friend for gifts for her wedding party. After being stalked by a security guy dressed in normal clothes long enough to notice, I decided I have nowhere to be right away so I just started throwing random crap in the cart to keep him watching me & wasting his time. After I threw a couple Coleman propane tanks in the car, bunch of clothes, lot of jewelry, I'm actually came in for besides the gifts that I ended up not buying. I went up to self check and accidentally scanned my cream cheese twice. So I went up to the security guy in uniform who the other guy had been communicating with and asked him to call somebody to unlock the register for me so he did. Now the fact that they're watching me so closely for so long I'm surprised he didn't hear me tell the girl that I was only going to get my bagels cream cheese and my chips. The rest I was going to leave in the car and give to her because I was not going to spend any more money than what I absolutely had to at the moment cuz their security was over board. She apologized and took the cart. I paid for my items, grabbed my receipt, as soon as I picked up my bag of food the security guy in uniform was right behind me and said, "excuse me ma'am, where are all the pieces of jewelry that you had in your cart?" I said, "well they're in the cart that I gave to the young lady who unlocked my register. U hadn't noticed the cart is nowhere around here and I only have a bag with 3 items, which also reflects on my receipt?... Are u accusing me of something? Is this an unlawful detainer? Is this a false accusation of theft? Did u want to look in my bag?" "Oh no ma'am, I don't need to look in ur bag."(as he's side glancing into my bag) So I opened my purse and said, "Here, have a peek! U don't have the right, but I'll let u. U should get more training cuz I could go after u for unlawful detainer, false accusations, defamation of character & u drawing all this attention trying to make me look like a thief Infront of all these people, it's embarrassment I didn't need to be subjected to had u somewhat done ur job properly." read more

Dont shop at target my son bought me a 50. Gift card from target for lowes. When i went to use it they said its been cancelled. I have a receipt that says the card was activated but neither lowes or target care . The both just pass me from one person to another. They all say cant help. read more

Generally love even just walking around Target in Rohnert Park. They have a great selection of new movies. The clothes are cute but often times out of season. I don't think we need super thin cotton and bikinis right now. This isn't Florida... Today was on a mission to pick up a few birthday supplies and a gift. The gift I had wanted to get did not have a shelf tag even though it was with the rest of them (LOL surprises). The check a price scanner said item could not be found. After looking for a team member for a while and not finding one I gave up and put it down. There were restocking carts and boxes all over the place. Thought they had a night crew? I love this target over all other stores I choose to go out of my way to this one. Fully stocked on most of the time except for when shortages are happening. I always have a great experience with the team. Always willing to check on items coming in for me or just to make short conversation with me even if they're busy. I went last night because I was in need of edge control to do my daughters hair. It was 8 minutes before closing and I went in through the exit. Security said he was going to ask me to leave because they were full and it was only one register that was open. I pleaded with him to let me grab one thing. He said you have 8 minutes in a nice way of course. I was so thankful that he let me get what I needed! Total lifesaver because if I would have had to wait, it would have ruined my plans on being able to not only do my daughters hair that night but it would have threw me off schedule to do my hair & my other daughters hair as well. I like this pharmacy because they really care and they are friendly. Lynn is always kind, and the others are not far behind. They are a small pharmacy and have had a huge amount of business, coupled with the Covid and some employee changes so some problems might happen. They are people too and need the same tolerance they give their customers. being a small store is what attracted me. the personal service is why I am now a loyal customer. I do not understand the complaints of poor customer service. that has not been my experience. thank you for reading this. read more

I used to love this target but not anymore. Last night I sent my husband to get some diapers for our one year old. Since the other target in Santa Rosa Ave was out of his size he decided to make the drive to this one. Once he got the diapers he decided to browse the electronic section since they're by eachother. He had noticed that he was being followed by the security guard but didn't wanna make a big deal out of it. When he went to go pay, they asked to check his pockets to prove he hadn't taken anything! He was wearing sweatpants with a shirt that had no pockets! Please tell me how he could've shoved anything into his sweatpants especially with the security guard following him around! My husband is no theif. I guess it's a crime to go out and buy diapers and browse the electronic section while you're there. Only leaving one start because I have to. Never again. read more
