Should now be named the DOLLAR AND TWENTY FIVE CENT STORE. Even at $1.25 the amount you can get for some of these items is unbelievable. A large bag of popcorn chips, drinks, chocolates, gummy's, even the chocolate truffles and 3 of them for a buck and a quarter is preposterous!! I was just at Samentine's Patisserie where the chocolate truffles were about $3/ per truffle $31.25 for 9 of them!! So at the dollar twenty five store it's mostly Godiva chocolate truffles both dark and milk chocolate. Then there's shampoos and all kinds of glassware, plates, balloons for kids and adults, cool toys etc. the place is loaded and the staff is genuinely nice and friendly. I spend $50-$60 bucks here every 6 weeks!! read more

Worst $ Store in the county hands down. Tweeker staff that complain nonstop to eachother, loud personal phone calls and downright rudeness to customers. No freezer case like all others and more crap piled up against the back shelves and in the isles that it's a miracle if you find anything much less can get to it navigating thru the stock carts, empty boxes and various trash. read more

A small but good dollar store. Lacking many items that other dollar stores carry, and the lines are annoying, but its convenient location is good if you're in a rush. The dollar store on Stony Pt and Piner is WAY better in my opinion. read more

Okay DISCLAIMER: this is for the dollar tree on marlow. They don't have a yelp review list so I had to leave my angry comment on here. Basically, the woman answered the phone and was very rude from the minute she opened her mouth. If I could give -3 stars on here, I would. This employee needs to practice kinder customer service. She also told me that she had a line in front of her so she couldn't check if they had the product I desired. She told me she was too busy and rushed our conversation. Her job is to please the customer, so now I have to drive across town just to see if they have the important product that I need. I will update as soon as I figure out if they have the product or not. I am very unhappy with my experience. Would not recommend. Update: I didn't end up going in. The elder checker who's been there forever is amazing, however the youngest lady working there who's been there for a while, "probably a manager, due to her attitude and superiorness" is an absolute jerk! I do not know what her problem is, but every single time I come here and I ask her a simple question she either ignores me and makes me scream, "EXCUSE ME, ma'am, hello! Excuse me!" Clearly she hears me but chooses not to answer. My friends all have had similar experiences with her. What's your problem lady? If you're that miserable look for a new job! At least don't ignore the customers that pay, paying customers pay your checks! Let that sync in! I always try to get her name badge, but as soon as she sees me trying to do so she runs away, or she's not wearing it. I am so sick of her attitude. I have promised myself to not go in there anymore & not support this particular Dollar Tree, but something needs to be done which is why tomorrow I will be contacting corporate and making sure to make my voice heard. I understand that things are difficult for employees during Covid, but I shouldn't have to ask for the bare minimum out of employees when it comes to manners and respect. It's something that does not take much energy to provide to your customers. The cashiers at this location rush through every customer at the register and made me personally feel unwelcome because they do not greet you, they scan everything, blurt out the total and then say "you're all set." Like where is the "Hello, did you find what you were looking for?" And a "thank you, have a good day" at the end of a transaction? I've also applied to this location for a job in the past, never again. No response from HR or the store, and I was placed on hold until I was forced to hang up during a call I made to check about the job position. After applying, the job listing on indeed continues to float around as if they aren't even checking! Ridiculous as f***. I do not pity these workers. The bare minimum manners as humans is nonexistent here. read more

I was in the store yesterday and there was only one person in the store working. He advised the customers that he was the only one working in the store and thank you for their patience but while waiting in line I seen three different customers walk out because they didn't want to wait in line to check out. Shopped here for years. Ride my motorcycles there and I'm always wearing a backpack and a nice leather jacket. I'm dressed well and extremely clean-cut looking. Recently I've noticed a couple of employees who seem to get off telling the homeless to leave their backpacks. Until now they haven't tried to enforce it on me. There's no way I'm leaving a backpack with expensive valuables at their door. That changed today and I'll never go back. It's your store but it's my dollar and you don't get any more of them from me or from any of my family. I guess you think dollars actually do grow on trees. I went to the other Dollar Tree that I've also been shopping at for years and got what I needed with no hassle like I've been doing for years. I'll probably stop shopping there too. Both stores were so poorly run they'd often be out of what I went there for but I like to support businesses seem to employ the underdogs. You've gotta pick you battles Dollar Tree.
