Windsor's Grocery Outlet has all of the low priced merch you'd expect to find, with a very healthy dose of specialty items that I have not found at any of their other stores. My best find was a blue Vespa-inspired scooter plant holder, something I never knew I NEEDED until I saw it at Windsor Grocery Outlet. Other finds included a cute plant for $6.99, a Costco-sized box of assorted flavors of Corn Nuts for $7.99, and an exciting array of cat toys that made me a hero at home. read more

So we have made no bones about we love Grocery Outlet. It is similar to our Costco obsession in that we lave a treasure hunt. You wander in and you simply never know what you are going to find. This particular store was one of the largest we have encountered and it was spotlessly clean and well organized. The staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. They had the anchovies our local one was out of and we stocked up. They also had an impressive beer selection as well. Man those pop tarts were a great price too! We have learned to try stuff we buy at GA's quickly as there is a distinct here today gone tomorrow aspect to things and you may find something new you love only to never see it stocked again. read more

Grocery outlet is a fun place to go shopping for groceries and maybe a few other odds and ends -- but mainly groceries. Prices are competitive for the most part; Sometimes you find great deals, sometimes so-so deals, and sometimes not so great deals. Their produce is pretty competitive most of the time, and generally top quality. Cheeses can be a good deal, and eggs generally so. You'll have fun, exploring the salsa aisle as well as other condiments. The meat section can be kind of hit or miss and they seem to have a hard time keeping vanilla ice cream in stock -- maybe because of the decent price. You can find great prices on budget wine, but it IS budget line so don't expect too much. with a little experimentation, you will find some gems in the pile. Hey, here's a tip: if you shop GO a lot download their app -- you'll frequently save five bucks off your purchase of $15 to $25 or more. read more

Stopped at Grocery Outlet for the first time ever this fall after a visit to Shiloh Nails in the same shopping center. I needed quart-sized plastic bags for an upcoming trip - TSA toiletry restrictions! I also wanted to see what this store was all about. It was well stocked and clean, and way more extensive than I imagined. But life is all about expectation management. It's not trying to be a Safeway. It's an outlet so you'll find what they have. I found 1 version of Glad bags, not 10, and the version I found was a unique flex variety. It did the trick. They have a beer/wine section, a gluten-free section, and a refrigerator section, all of which surprised me. And they had seasonal items including real pumpkins. I'll pop back in to explore some more when I visit Shiloh Nails again. read more

This Grocery Outlet in Windsor has a lot of good selections on various items including wine. The egg and dairy prices are great and overall, everything is priced reasonably. Every time that I have gone in there, and didn't know where some stuff was, the staff have been very helpful and answered any questions that I had. I got a great red wine here about a week ago, but when I went today, it was gone. Their inventory of items change from time to time, depending on what it is, so if you see something you really like, I would grab more than one, in case they run out. read more

Wow! A new Grocery Outlet store in Windsor! My job brought me up to Windsor,CA on a Tuesday night, and I was able to visit this store just before closing. It's bright and clean, and had a large variety of goods and produce. I grabbed some nice fresh fruit, and I was on my way. Grocery Outlet Bargain Market (GOBM) used to be known as "Canned Foods Store," with HQs in Berkeley above a store. Goods and products came mainly from closeouts, discontinued product lines, and overstocks. Today, the Hqs is in Emeryville,CA. How do I know this stuff? A long time ago, I interviewed for the Regional Auditor job for Grocery Outlets. I got to meet some of the Corporate Mgrs and learn about the company. I'm definitely a big fan of this chain of stores, especially for wine purchases. Although the stock is somewhat limited, if they have what your looking for, it's unlikely you'll find it for less anywhere else. Excellent prices for canned goods, spices, condiments, breads, eggs and snack stuff. Now let's talk wine; Simply stated, they have some really nice mid grade wine at bargain basement prices, like 6 or 7 bucks a bottle. I have not found anyplace than can compete with their prices for the quality of the product. Obviously, I'm a big fan of this store. Give a try, you might become one too. read more

This place is always my go to for quick things..This place has high end brand to just normal brands..The price is right the staff is very friendly and helpful. The store stay super clean and the lines are never to long. I always come here for my wine and boy do they have a ton to choose from. Price is great but you will definitely get meat that is spoiled and moldy baked goods at times, including tortillas. So you have to be really careful when buying from this place. I don't know if it's carelessness of employees and bad training or bad business practices. But if you're going to shop here you better do the work of verifying your not buying spoiled items. I'm not gona buy meat here anymore and probably not baked goods either. Only buying shelf stable things. read more

I freakin LOVE GOBM and how you can go in and be surprised by the offerings (although there are almost always some staples like bags of tomatoes and cheap AF salsa/chips). My only negative is that the lines to check out are pretty long and I wish they had a self check out area. But maybe that's how they keep the prices low because they don't have to pay for those machines, I dono, I shouldn't complain. I'd go here every day if my husband let me =) read more

Grocery outlet is my jam. With inflation hitting grocery budget hard, it's important as ever to have access to food at a decent price. Great selection of fair trade, organic, and pasture raised products. Service is great. People are positive. Consistently cheaper than other grocery stores. Organic chicken is cheaper than other stores. Frozen goods are cheaper. Organic free range eggs are a good deal. Yes, some of their products are approaching a best by date but that doesn't bother me. I know it's just a date. The organic free range eggs I get for 1.50 a dozen have a best by date that's marked for tomorrow but I'll eat them within a week. Pro tip: Check out their cheese section for reduced prices. Some of the cheeses have a best by date that is approaching. Since the cheese is sealed, I've never had an issue with spoilage and I've got to try a wide variety of expensive cheeses for pennies on the dollar. Cons: Not everything is at a discount. Some of the staples can be just as much as other places. Some items you can't expect to find trip after trip. Some of their bargain products are really cheap because they aren't that great. You can't always find exactly what you need but there is a walmart close by in case they don't have something you need. read more

I was pleasantly surprised and so happy it's finally open! I shopped sales there before I realized what the sales were. Loved they have Dave's bread products, 4.99/loaf. They were somewhat still frozen a little on the shelves, but I didn't mind. By the time I would go to use mine I'm sure it would be thawed. It just made me think it would be that much fresher. 2.79 for 18 eggs! Yes please, extra large AA. Then it was on for things I didn't come here to shop for. I got all kinds of goodies like greek yogurt cups 2/1$, flips 2/1$, cottage cheese with their jam 2/1$, block of 2 lbs of sharp cheddar cheese 7.99. I splurged for Vday and got Lindor's milk truffles, 51 count for 7.99 and Albanese huge gummy bear bag for 5.99 (beats walmart's price - be ready for people to run to the store and get those guys! See -- order more!). And they had big bags of the Albanese gummy worms too (something walmart doesn't have). I love love love crackers and the wafer crackers here, get this, only $1.50/package instead of like 5 bucks everywhere else. The pizza isle was so packed I couldn't even get in it, but peaked my head around and saw they had tons of different kinds to choose from. I did wish they had more of a gourmet cheese section, but hey, they have tons of stuff so can't be too choosy. My only complaint is that our house LOVES Squirt soda, anything grapefruit and all they had were the cans at pretty much regular rate. Was hoping for some 2-liters to save money, so still had to hop over to walmart anyway, but hey, nobody's perfect. All in all, I'll be back soon! read more

I tried to return an unopened hersheys chocolate syrup with a receipt and was told they couldn't refund me because my reason for the return was not acceptable. Your refund policy is not what they practice in the store. I'm very unhappy with this and will not be shopping here anymore. read more

I get SO much food for what I spend. They have great staff too who are super friendly. I also prefer this location over Santa Rosa just because the parking lot has easier access and more parking. So glad this store has come to Windsor. Covid has changed my shopping habits and it's nice to have an alternative to Walmart or going as far as Raley's or Safeway. Always like Grocery Outlet anywhere! Like shopping their non food items too. Good bargains can be found. Got a new charger for my phone and some Bluetooth earbuds. So glad they have ice as I keep a cooler going for fridge overflow. Didn't notice if they have a filtered water refill machine but if not that would be a bonus for me.
