I wanted to comment on one of the best customer service experiences I had recently. The target representative whose name was Luz, assisted me with a very complex situation. It turned out that the bench we ordered online had been delivered to the wrong address. The parties who received our bench, with my name on it, did not return it to the proper authorities. When I spoke with Luz, she helped me track down the package and sympathized with my dismay at never receiving our garden bench, as I have been looking forward to putting it in our front yard. Obviously we had already paid for the above and Luz was kind enough not only give us a full refund. This allowed us to be able to purchase the new garden bench. We decided to drive to our nearby Target store and get it in person this time! I want to thank Target and their customer service representatives for being so kind and compassionate which is a rare thing these days! read more

What can I say, Coddingtown Target does it for me! Target is within a 10 minute drive from my home, has a handy drive-up pick-up option (that I use almost exclusively), and has almost everything I need in stock at all times. Target is my go-to, tried and true. When I am sick and don't want to leave the house -let alone walk around a store- Target is there for me. When I'm entertaining the following morning and remember at 9pm that I am out of coffee, Target is there for me to drive on up until 11pm. Target recently introduced their delivery service which I'm extremely tempted to sign up for! The service is only $50.00 annually for students, or $100.00 annually for non-students. Is $50.00 a year worth saving the 20-minute drive multiple times a week? YES!!! read more

Hubby and I stopped into this location to purchase some items for our baby moon, necessities for home, a birthday present, things for our Baby Shower and a drink from Starbucks, located inside. The store was well organized, and stocked and the employees were very helpful and sweet! I would HIGHLY recommend this amazing location and could definitely see us returning the next time we're in the area! This was my first visit to Target Coddingtown. Was super impressed with the neatness, variety of products available. It seems they have everything of each type and within that too, all products may have a great selection to choose from. When I compare with some of the other larger chains, Target seems slightly pricey (when buying without discounts), however for its neatness and quality, it's a hands down preferable place to be at. Fresh fruits and vegetables section was super neat and very enticing. Things across the store are neatly stacked up and easy to find. Must visit for your next tour of retail therapy. I like the fact that Target is a one stop shop. They have a little bit of everything!

I don't understand why customers can bring in their pets at this location. Every time I've been here there's someone dragging around their filthy poorly behaved non-service dog 10 feet behind them. I don't want to have to be on the look out of stepping in dog poop and pee when shopping for groceries. The store needs to enforce not pets; this isn't Petco. read more

I was bummed out today when I saw a $15 rebate if I bought $50 in paper products. I bought more than I really needed but thought the rebate was good. At the cash register the person said they didn't know why I did get the rebate. She referred me to customer service. Customer service said the checkout person should have had me enter my phone number. They said I needed to be a Circle Club member. No rebate was received. This was deceptive; I've received rebate cash cards prior without this runaround. Bummer read more

If everyone signed up with the target rewards that it's has like adding the phone number. You earn the gift cards and if you download the app you can add coupons it add some more savings. The app will keep a copy of all the receipts so if you lose the paper one you could return things that way. read more

What can I say, Target is Target. Good for somethings, not so much for others. As anyone that shops there knows, they can be out of stock on everyday items for weeks on end. The latest, is the self checkout. All of the sudden, they have decided, self checkout is for 10 items or less,yet they have not increased the amount of open check stands. This means that if you have 12 items you are going to stand in a line for 5 minutes or longer. I don't understand why Target is taking away the opportunity for us to use self checkout, regardless of the number of items you are purchasing. They have stand already setup for 10 items or less, that is never open. What's up with that? Target really needs to reevaluate this poor new policy. read more

The level of incompetence & rudeness at this store is ASTONISHING! I was trying to get help with a purchase in electronics & I had to physically tap the team member on the shoulder to get his attention bc he had his headphones on! Then he rung up my purchase incorrectly. They also have signs in front of products such as "spend $75, get $20 off on toys" but in fine print the product the sign is sitting in front of is excluded! Hey it's the new Kmart, but honestly, some great deals on staples, decor items & extras if your a savvy shopper.! Surprisingly lots of non Chinese made el-cheapo goods, such as Canada, India and the UsA but also many from Chines shipping containers. You place an order online it will include a $1 charge bag fee. That is 10 cents mandatory charge per bag and assumes your order may require up to 10 bags equaling $1. When you pick up your order you have the right to decline bags. But they will charge you for at least one bag even if you want zero and they give you zero. You all are missing the point of the bag fee to DISCOURAGE the use of plastic bags. We have too much plastic garbage. Target is too obsessed with collecting their bag fee and cares not one wit about the environment. The attached photo is for the purchase of a food item which has no tax, but it shows a $1.00 tax added which is their anticipated bag fee. If you are environmentally conscious you should not shop here. They love giving out their plastic bags. read more

A huge upgrade from the Santa Rosa Avenue location. I went over to the Santa Rosa Avenue location and couldn't find the items I needed because they were out of stock on many items. Taking a short drive to the new Coddington Target, I was able to find the items I needed, quickly. In and out like nobody's business. I was very impressed with how clean and organized this store is compared to others. The shelves were stocked fully and the employees were very polite and helpful. Maybe I came on the right day ? The Starbucks within is bright, wide and open. Most importantly, it was very clean. The self check out was wide open for a quick exit so you dont have to wait in line. There is plenty of parking and lots of handicap spots so you dont have to walk far. It's worth the short drive for me over to this location. read more

Sunday, August 2018. The store inventory is severely depleted. Lots of shelves are 75% empty, especially in kitchen ware. Is this the usual situation? Or is it just end of the week and buyers bought out the place? Or is Target, Inc in financial trouble and going broke like Mervyn's, Sears and K-Mart? I needed to buy a clothes iron. I checked the Target website for brands & models, customer satisfaction reviews, etc. Found an iron that I wanted. Checked the website for this specific store inventory on the shelf. Web page says "Yep we got them on the shelf". I make the 20 minute drive from home, arrive, find the clothes irons and nope they don't have any of that model on the shelf. So the Target inventory count system on the website is worthless. So while standing in front of the clothes irons they did have on the shelf (only six models out of the ten that have shelf labels) I had to Google each one for customer satisfaction / product reliability ratings. After 20 minutes I chose what I hope is the best model for the money. As this was my first visit to this store I did walk around to get a gestalt of the place. Is it bigger than the Target store down on Santa Rosa ave? Seems so to me. And why are there 2 Target stores in Santa Rosa (population around 175,000 people)? I also bought some golf balls that were sale priced and a big bottle of laundry fabric softener. You certainly can buy almost any household item that you need in this mega-store. Would I return for future purchases? Not for clothes nor electronics nor alcohol. But if bath towels, bed sheets or other soft goods that I'm not real fussy about are on sale with attractive prices, sure why not? read more

This Target in Coddingtown is just terrible! The lines are always, always long! So many people were complaining about the long lines. Also, the shelves are often empty! Not enough employees. I will NOT be shopping at this Target any longer. Also, be sure to look under the price when it says that it is a sale. Often, it is the regular price! Target is like a warm slice of apple pie. Pure American nostalgia. At least from one the company was started. I can routinely go to Target for a few things and walk out two hours later. It's like a casino, you can't feel time going by so you end up buying all the things. This particular location is in a nicer community than Target South. It is a part of the endangered mall species, Coddingtown but it is a huge Anchor store and one can visit the atore without ever going inside the mall. I give them 5 stars because I don't think I've ever left a Target without what I came for, plus a handful of other goodies. read more

I shop here often. The employees are nice and the prices are reasonable. My main problem is that oftentimes, basic items are not stocked, or very partially stocked. I mean basic food items like eggs. And this problem goes way back before the current "supply chain" issues challenging all stores. For years I shopped at the Target in Santa Rosa Ave. and that store never had the problem if insufficiently stocked shelves. read more

The store itself is fine. Maybe a little understaffed, but those that are there are super pleasant! My complaint is that the Target policy does not allow soliciting at their stores, however there has been someone trying to stop me on my way in and out to sign some petition or another for at least the last month. They never seem to have their masks on (at least not correctly), which makes me even more uneasy! I used to have a job that required me to get signatures, I know how difficult it can be. The most deplorable target I've ever been to in my life. It started off up front, when I asked the young dummy if this was the closest store to sebastopol. She said there was one in rohnert park, but didn't even know there was another one in rantarosa, near the 1 TJ's still left here. Then I went to 1 of their departments & needed info on something I wanted to buy. The techno geek behind the counter was too busy doing something more important to wait on me. So I asked another nerd there about the same thing, & he was going to sell me what I asked about with the wrong connecting cord, since he didn't have the right one in stock. I went to the store because I was in the area. I used to love Target stores, but I haven't gone much since covid. I was walking around looking for things for a trip I couldn't find one thing I was looking for. I asked someone I found that worked at the store no help at all they annoyed me more than anything. I was using the Target app to show a picture of what I was looking for I was told to put in the right store. If I knew the zip code, I would have had the write store. He could have put it in his machine to scan things and told me. The lack of making effort to help. The store was overcrowded not enough lines. I ended up walking out of the store with nothing. On the side of the store that's inside the mall they don't even have carts in the store. This store didn't have enough staff. If he just said I don't know it would have been less annoying. Came here with my son to get him some underwear. As we were walking through the store he said, "Wow, this Target looks like every other Target." Yep. This Target is about the same as most other Target stores. If you like Target, you will probably like this store. Decent products and good prices = A-OK for me. I did note that there were no lines at the time we were there. That is a huge plus for a Target store. Maybe if I see short lines all the time I will bump up to four stars. read more

I am beyond grateful for having such an amzing interaction with Nancy at the Coddington Mall Target. Nancy went above & beyond to help me. I had gone to multiple stores from Petaluma to Santa Rosa with no luck of finding hellium tanks for my twins birthday party. Nancy took the initiative to help me. She was able to find 4 tanks for me. She also let me know about Traget circle on the target app which is so awesome. She definitely deserves a raise. I hope they hire more employees like her. I just got through a weekend during which I spent nearly $2,500 for a new bed which needed new bed linens and some other things. I went into Target and found some sheet sets that I really liked - two sets which would have cost me about $200, plus some other stuff I planned to get, too, for a total which turned out to be more than $500. The display clearly stated: "All Bedding 20% Off! (Except Clearance.)" Great! I picked out the sheets and went hunting for the other things I needed: Strike One - a CORDED hand-held vacuum (why plug something into the wall and pay for hours of electricity to charge something that will last less than 15 minutes on a single charge??). I couldn't find one. Strike Two - I wanted a mattress pad. I didn't find what I wanted. They had them, just not the one I wanted. Strike Three - Wrangler jeans. I wanted to buy at least two pair but they didn't have any, anywhere. Okay. I was frustrated. Frustration, though, reached the boiling point when I got to the self-checkout. I ran the first set of sheets. I got the 20% off as promised. I ran the next set - nothing. No discount. They were the same brand, same style, same everything except color. I thought it was something with the register, so I headed over to the line. I stood in line, got to the register and... was told that I had to use my PHONE to get the 20% discount! Excuse me?? Just where was THAT fine print on the display?!??? (It wasn't there is where it was.) That was it - I walked out and I will NOT be walking back in to this Target or any other. I do not like being misled by anyone to whom I will pay my hard earned money. I do not want to be coerced into giving away MY personal information unless I volunteer. I went to Walmart, I spent a boatload of money. I went to Bed Bath & Beyond, I spent a boatload of money. Target did not, and will not get one penny from me, ever again. read more
