Love this store. I'm there often as the one on Santa Rosa Ave. One suggestion, please get paper bags. Have just cleaned my house of all plastic bags and there were many many many. I went to the store because I was in the area. I used to love Target stores, but I haven't gone much since covid. I was walking around looking for things for a trip I couldn't find one thing I was looking for. I asked someone I found that worked at the store no help at all they annoyed me more than anything. I was using the Target app to show a picture of what I was looking for I was told to put in the right store. If I knew the zip code, I would have had the write store. He could have put it in his machine to scan things and told me. The lack of making effort to help. The store was overcrowded not enough lines. I ended up walking out of the store with nothing. On the side of the store that's inside the mall they don't even have carts in the store. This store didn't have enough staff. If he just said I don't know it would have been less annoying. I just got through a weekend during which I spent nearly $2,500 for a new bed which needed new bed linens and some other things. I went into Target and found some sheet sets that I really liked - two sets which would have cost me about $200, plus some other stuff I planned to get, too, for a total which turned out to be more than $500. The display clearly stated: "All Bedding 20% Off! (Except Clearance.)" Great! I picked out the sheets and went hunting for the other things I needed: Strike One - a CORDED hand-held vacuum (why plug something into the wall and pay for hours of electricity to charge something that will last less than 15 minutes on a single charge??). I couldn't find one. Strike Two - I wanted a mattress pad. I didn't find what I wanted. They had them, just not the one I wanted. Strike Three - Wrangler jeans. I wanted to buy at least two pair but they didn't have any, anywhere. Okay. I was frustrated. Frustration, though, reached the boiling point when I got to the self-checkout. I ran the first set of sheets. I got the 20% off as promised. I ran the next set - nothing. No discount. They were the same brand, same style, same everything except color. I thought it was something with the register, so I headed over to the line. I stood in line, got to the register and... was told that I had to use my PHONE to get the 20% discount! Excuse me?? Just where was THAT fine print on the display?!??? (It wasn't there is where it was.) That was it - I walked out and I will NOT be walking back in to this Target or any other. I do not like being misled by anyone to whom I will pay my hard earned money. I do not want to be coerced into giving away MY personal information unless I volunteer. I went to Walmart, I spent a boatload of money. I went to Bed Bath & Beyond, I spent a boatload of money. Target did not, and will not get one penny from me, ever again. read more

I love this Target as well as the other Target but this one is a bit of a drive for me. If I am on this side of town, I do pop in as this location is newer and cleaner. This Target is also connected to the Coddingtown Mall so you can run your mall errands which is very convenient. I like to go to the Whole Foods and get my groceries and come to this Target to get my household goods after. Large parking lot, clean facilities. read more

The store is fine but poor customer service. Most recently, I went to pick up an online order. It was busy in the whole store. When I got to the register they would not ring me up for two handsoaps because there was a line. I had to wait another ten minutes in another line. read more

Would give 0 stars if possible. Talked to customer support and the kid wouldn't refund me for my broken microwave that I literally bought 30 minutes prior. I'd assume big companies would replace it but I guess not in this case. read more

This Target is so poorly stocked on very basic items like AA batteries, gift wrap tape, socks , etc. Lines for the registers are so long but it's not because the staff is on the floor assisting customers, there's just not enough staff! Understaffed, no stock.... S.R. avenue is a pain but I can't take anymore wasted time at the Coddingtown Target. read more

The moto should be "Expect less pay less" This target is really awful. I go an item in grocery that can only be found at target. The grocery area is a real mess. Under stocked always. Dirty. Today I saw 3 different items out dated . 1 of these items was a bin full of bread product expired. The clerk that I advised was rude. Shopped in other areas . Things on floor, stuff just stuffed in shelves. It was early morning. This is the usual state of the store. Looks like Kmart. I have spoken with manager before. They don't care. read more

It's alright. The biggest draw is that it saves me from having to drive to the one in Rohnert Park when I'm in town, because if you know anything about this area, you know that it's all about avoiding the Target on Santa Rosa Avenue. Another bonus is that it's super close to a nice little post office. read more

This target is at Coddingtown mall. Unfortunately I always seem to forget it's there because the mall itself can be hit or miss and my shopping there is sporadic. It's a nice new store though and parking is easy as well as getting through the store. Easy access to the mall too read more

This target is the same as most Targets. There's an entrance to the mall in the electronics' section which is a little unusual, but other than that it's indecipherable from any other Target. Nice parking in the front, typical Santa Rosa employees. If you don't like Target, you won't like this Target (shocking, I know). read more

The new target is fully stocked and very clean, the employees I ran into said they tend to keep it that way. They had a lot of fall clearance items, and checkout was a breeze, bathrooms were clean and there was lots of parking close by.I ran into pay my bill and ended up browsing and shopping till closing time read more

I love Target, so I was beyond excited when the new store opened up, but so far it has only disappointed me. One time I went, and they were completely out of all navy towels. Its hard to get more basic than a navy bath towel, how does that happen that you're out of any size? They next time, they were out of the Olay make up remover pads that I use. This last time, I was looking for Mossimo tanks that were on sale. The display was so wrecked, I couldn't figure out which style was on sale, and the shirts were scattered all about the clothing section. I tried to ask an employee for some help finding a gray one, but she took a look at the display table and said, well its not here, we must be out. Seeing as I was the one who had pointed that out to her, it was not very helpful. Come on Target, step up your game! read more

I love Target...I discovered they have a problem keeping employees bc pay was too low and work too much...one day I couldn't find 1 person to help me out on the floor. Pet Peeve, the NEVER EVER HAVE SWISS CHEESE IN STOCK...AND OTHER SUCH ITEMS...If I can find help they will go back and check for me, I Gave up...also my target cards don't like to work...found if you squeeze the debit machine it reads cards much better! Everything about this Target is what you expect out of a Target. Lot of items to choose from, competitive prices, teenagers who are bummed to be working, clean store, and a quick checkout process. One bummer about this Target, and many others, is that I'm reminded of my dogs farts every time I enter. I love the popcorn that Target makes but it sure does smell like dog farts. And much like dog farts it fills a lot of the area it's around. So if you're cool with that typical Target popcorn dog fart smell when you walk in you'll be fine with shopping here. read more

I love target!! I was super excited about the new target in Coddingtown. It's huge a gorgeous and seemed pretty clean. Overall a nicer target then the other in Santa Rosa. The flaw: no rain boots! Of any kind. It's raining out and I can't get rain boots. I also know that this is an issue for not only me because when I asked the girl she said they get asked that a lot and she's sorry but they don't have any. You'd think in a store that large they would have season appropriate attire. I'm pretty disappointed about the fact that they don't have something evidently many people need. read more

I walked in with some friends from the Coddingtown mall and was here for like 20 minutes. Nobody told us they close the door to the mall and we had to walk all the way around to our car even though we had parked in a lot that should have been open. Also the staff doesn't talk to you and just glares at you. I'd rather go to Santa Rosa Ave. read more

This is my favorite target in Santa Rosa by far but BEWARE of order pickups!! Both times I have picked up an order I placed online the order was missing items that I was charged for. The first time it was a large and noticeable item that couldn't be bagged ( a mop) so it was evident right away and corrected when I pointed it out; however apparently this a habit of the team members at this target because I just got home and was unpacking a separate order and realized they didn't give me my linter roller even though I was already charged for it in app!! lesson learned: pull up your own order and check everything in the bag before leaving at the counter in front of them so you can have it fixed immediately. I honestly don't care if their is a line or not, apparently we have to make sure we are getting our items bc apparently they don't! read more

So, I went to target on black friday knowing that I was going to get the iphone 6. I knew one of the guys who worked there, hes a really chill guy I've known him for a while...It took a while to have him help me because AT&T had some problems because it was the busiest day of the year. So I go and get some help from this guy named Everett...Completely unprofessional demeanor. He was wearing glasses that were glued together and missing a hinge...so his glasses were only hanging from one ear. I wanted to do trade with my previous phone but he didn't even ask me. So I go and start the trade in and he's upset that I wanted to do one. He looks at my phone, mind you its not in mint condition but there are no cracks in the screen...Targets policy is that as long as the phone isn't broken. My friend who I knew said they could take it (who is the assistant manager)...So he calls his main boss and tells him he can't take it...I get upset because I was just told by my friend that they could take it...I don't understand why this Everett fellow couldn't of taken my phone for full price. So we decide to leave because I'm pissed and I don't want this guy taking my commission...I call the other Target and they don't have the phone I want. I have absolutely no choice but to go to this Target. I go up to my buddy and He helps me out, and told me they can't take the phone at full price because his managers did say so. I totally understand and that's fine... So this Everett guy, is just trying to but in on our conversation trying to make sure that I don't get the full price for the trade in...My buddy was helping me for about 20 minutes and every 4 minutes he would come by not make eye contract and just float around, go away and come back. Never the less I got my phone and my friend made sure everything went well, which I really respected. TL:DR Avoid Everett like he's Ebola, He is slobby, unprofessional needs new glasses...and doesn't have your best interest...Save yourself the stress and go to the other guys that work there! but everyone else is awesome there! read more

Went in to buy a USB drive. At the self checkout, a employee came up to me and asked if I was going to use a bag....... for a USB drive.... I said "for that?" Indicating the small piece of cardboard on the counter.. "I have to ask everybody sir!" He said to me with a perturbed look on his face and exasperation in his voice. My response was "That's ridiculous". I proceeded to watch this kid ask every frickin person in the self checkout if they were going to use a bag.... Annoying customers seems to be Targets way of insuring not one bag goes out without being paid for due to the idiots in our city councils adopting this stupid politically correct policy. At least train your low paid people to not ask customers with small items if they are going to use one of your bags. It makes Target and the employee look moronic. read more

What has happened to Target??? I used to love this place -- I never thought I would say Target customer service is worse than Walmart. The woman in the customer service department couldn't seem to spell my friend's last name after having it spelled for her five times -- Brandenburg isn't that difficult. And I ordered a pair of tights online, the website said they would arrive in two days -- when I went in to pick them up they told me they wouldn't be there for another week. The reps in Customer Service had ONE device amongst three of them to check on orders coming into the store, so two of them were always standing waiting for the one using it. Right now the store that has the best Customer Service is Kohl's. read more

Really not a fan of this location. Perhaps it gets more foot traffic than the SR Ave store, and if that is the case, then they need to order more inventory. So often I come in here, and they don't have basic items stocked. It's frustrating, and forget actually finding anything that is in the sale ad, in stock in just about any size... gone. gone. gone. For being a new store, I don't find it as clean as other locations. The employees seem OK, I haven't had a lot of interaction with them, as it's kinda pointless if they are always out of everything. read more

They are always out of stuff, outdated products on the shelves, its convenient & all but wish it had better service & constant product....

My experience with the drive up service offered through the app and online purchase is the best target experience I have ever had. Within a few hours I had my product in hand. Communication via email was great! I pulled up called and gave my name and I think I might've been in my car 30 seconds before somebody came and dropped off my package I showed them my barcode that came with my order and that was it! Literally 2 minutes from pulling into the driveway to pulling out headed home. Would definitely recommend this service! read more

The store was pretty clean and it had everything I needed but when you have to walk out to your car so far past the lot with it filled with things to put in your car and you have to drive your car to the shopping cart because it stopped. Talk about piss me off. Target should know that their lot fills up and their carts don't go as far as the lot does. I had a major traffic jam the cart wouldn't go forward or backwards. Talk about looking like a stupid girl I don't like to look like a stupid girl, ever!!!! But when you drive a cute little sports car that's convertible and you're stuck with a shopping cart that's stuck in the middle of the road, what else are you supposed to do but drive your car to the cart and load it!!!!!! read more
