Some upper management there has problems in general direction, which I perceive as what causes this store to suffer . When trying to speak to the operator at customer service to see if they have a product in store, I keep getting hung up on. I asked a customer service rep from another target store to call on my behalf and she also was hung up on. She also tried to go through the electronics department to speak to their LOD and was again hung up on. Does no one there answer the phone or do their job? Seems like it. read more

Went to the target in Coddingtown maybe two weeks ago looking for a USB-C micro usb wire and the young lady was sitting there on her phone and I asked her if she could help me and she told me that she was on her break I was confused as to why are you not in the break room or somewhere outside she's on the floor with working people on her phone just casually lounging around and to boot the item was just one aisle over , she knew where it was and didn't even point me in that direction... after that (same visit) I was profiled I noticed it and said something to him. He continued on with his poor act of being a shopper. So with the bare shelves I asked him if I can help him find something. They do not know how to treat paying customers anymore. Customer service has gone down the commode with a chunk that broke off trying hard not to be the last piece of d@@kie that will show the public how horrible that store really is. Lastly has anyone ever placed a food order to get the wrong order handed to you, and you inform the employee that this is wrong I asked for no onions... only to be floored with a reply of "no you didn't" wha wha WHAT!!! So now I do not care if they are having a bad day or whatever if they come at me rude I accept the challenge and get it on after I get a manager. Enough is enough and we as consumers have allowed this monster to infect what is and should be a chill experience. Not a stressor that's added to the real ish we face daily . read more

Are you really this concerned about your carts being stolen?!! Just left this target at Coddingtown mall. Let me set the scene... It's raining, I have my 11 month old in the front of the cart, and a couple bags of groceries and necessities in the cart. I pass the first block of parked cars. Three cars are nice enough to wait for me as I pass the intersection to the next block of cars and the wheels on the cart lock up!! Do I ditch the cart in the intersection? Go back to a cart parking area and try to haul my 11 month old and bags back to my car? I decide to look like a struggling dummy and drag the cart with locked wheels the 10 spaces up the isle to my car and ditch it there. Wtf?! Can't you make the range of your cart locking device a broader range to include all of the immediate parking in front of the store? Especially on a busier holiday weekend? I am now boycotting the Target Store at Coddingtown Mall. We have been trying to support our local Target store because it is nearby. However, since opening, this store has had a re-stocking problem. We enter the store with a list of perhaps ten (10) items and are lucky to find half of the items. Oh, there is a place for said item... but the shelf is empty. This has happened repeatedly... over and over... so we finally are giving up. We will drive the 8-miles to Windsor to the Wal-Mart store where we've always found what we look for. After spending a good 30 minutes at the Kodak kiosk to print off some pictures I went over to the customer service area to ask a few questions about how long my pictures would take and how to get to more pictures in my phone. (The kiosk was only letting me go back to the last two weeks or so of pictures.) The guy I asked didn't know so he proceeded to ask this older woman (heavy set, short lighter hair, glasses.) She had a bad attitude as soon as he asked for her help. Her first response, in the rudest tone possible, was "it doesn't work." I told her the screen was on, the 'out of order' paper was gone, I was able to hook my phone up to it and access my pictures, and it even printed out a receipt for me with my order... she then walked over to the machine flipped the screen up and goes "See right here, it's out of order. How can you not tell that a giant piece is missing?!" Well, I have used that kiosk before as well as the one at the target off Santa Rosa Ave (when they still had it.) It looked no different than before. Anyways, the lady could have been nicer to me. She treated me like I was a moron because I didn't know the thing wasn't working. She also treated the other employee badly when he asked for help. I wish I would've gotten her name because she needs to be fired. read more

Profiling employees . There were two families buying kids backpacks in front of me in self checkout but only I was checked. The elderly lady limped up to me as quick as she could and demanded she open the backpack I was buying to check inside. I am at this Target multiple times a week with a 1 year old. It was less than 5 minutes from my house and I love it. It is fast, clean and the employees are always pleasant. If I have an issue I can always count on it to be resolved. I use to avoid Target like the plague even though I loved it, the Santa Rosa Ave store is atrocious, the employees are always snotty as well as management and they will never help you with anything. The cops are always there arresting people for shop lifting. I would much rather order items online and go to this location. Everyone is great there! read more

Purchased two pairs of subscription progressive eyeglasses for almost $700 at Target's Optical shop last year. The lenses they used are really thick and I've never been able to see out of them. Everything was out of focus. Never had that problem before getting them made at other optical stores. Target Optical employees gave me the runaround for a year, always saying they can adjust them and they would make it right. They never did. Now they say it's too late to take them back and give me any refund. This is the worst customer service ever. They never ever suggested I should return them when I could have returned them. They obviously didn't want to take them back. Now their suggestion is to spend more money on bifocal lenses with a line through them, yes, really, that's what they suggested. Are you kidding? Thought those types of lenses had disappeared years ago. They also suggested making glasses that allow me to see only distance, nothing close up. How am I supposed to do anything if I can only see distance? Don't get your glasses at Target. They are a joke. Disgraceful!! read more

Ok, Let me get this out of the way first "I Love Target" and was super excited to see a new store here in Santa Rosa. This store is super close to my house and I no longer have to drive down the horrible Santa Rosa ave to shop once a week. This new store has been very disappointing so far. I have been there a couple times around opening time and the store is DIRTY. What time do Target employees start right as the store opens? For a new store I am surprised how messed up the shelfs are and how badly stocked some items are. I guess this is part of being a new store and getting all the employees used to doing their job. I recently had surgery and another CVS Pharmacy and was very dissatisfied and had continuing problems with my medication prices going up and the customer service was very lousy. Then I spoke with Jamie on the phone and asked if I could transfer my prescriptions to the store which was closer to me. Once I transfer my prescription I have had nothing outstanding customer service from Jamie if you want something on time and done right along with a smile and a positive attitude see Jamie at the pharmacy. She really knows how to take care of her customers. I wish that more stores would have a person like Jamie then we would have nothing to complain about. read more

This is my regular Target since they opened and I love wandering around here. At first it is slightly confusing regarding where the cashiers are, especially if you enter from the internal Coddingtown entrance but after that it's easy peasy. Staff is friendly, it's almost always clean and organized, and I almost always have a very nice checkout person who is helpful and pleasant. It hits all my needs when it comes to a nice place to wander around and spend $100 I didn't know I needed to spend. read more

You would think there's not much bad to say about target. Target has almost anything you could ever want. Usually I have a very enjoyable experience at target, but today I was less than pleased. I was looking to buy an Xbox with my boyfriend today and we stood around for 10 minutes waiting for help. There were no employees around to unlock the case and when we did find one he walked away. Also, my Xbox was missing the headset it was supposed to come to. Still love target and didn't run into any other issues. They even price matched my game with the online price so it was cheaper, but they should work on their customer service and availability. read more

Probably one of the nastiest restrooms I've ever been into, which is kind of surprising because usually Target is...okay? Other than the filthy bathrooms, clothing on the floor, low stock, and apathetic employees, it's your basic Target store. Hopefully I won't return unless I have to. read more

This Target baffles me. It's brand new but it feels old and dingy. I'm also not sure how they haven't managed to get the work flow down yet. There are never enough lines open at the check out and there are always long lines when I go. It's becoming a chore to shop here. read more

The store was clean, carts are new and have 4 good wheels and the staff was very friendly but I was a little disappointed with the layout of the store. By far, the worst Target I've ever been to. Located at the Coddingtown Mall, now home to Whole Foods, BJ's & Jack's Urban Eats, you would have good expectations of this new Target. However, upon walking thru the aisles you will notice just about every aisle has one, if not several, empty shelves. It almost has you confused thinking, is it Black Friday?? Is is Christmas?? Hmmm, nope just a normal day shopping at Coddingtown Target. Good luck finding anything you're looking for in stock. I'm not sure who is "managing" this store, but they sure are doing a terrible job keeping the store stocked. Every trip I've taken to this store location leaves me frustrated and wondering why I stopped. I suggest that if you have time to make it to the Santa Rosa Avenue Target location that you do so instead. read more

I constantly shop at this Target since it is right down the street from my office. I like how easy it is to find parking without dealing with crazy drivers. The staff is very friendly and happy. I honestly really like the good vibes I get when I walk into this store. The store is very clean, neat, and organized. I always find what I am looking for and I love my many choices of essentials that I have to choose from. I shop here 2-3 times per week both for my branch that I run and also for my own essentials. The staff at this store needs to man up. We ordered an xbox online for store pick up. They emailed two hours later that they actually don't have one in stock. We called and asked them to find us one and the sales associate said "You can call other stores yourself, we don't have any more pull than you do." We picked up the remainder of the order, and drove to San Rafael for the xbox. Then, today, we saw the Santa Rosa Target charged our credit card for the xbox anyway!!! The customer service guy in India said it would take up to 10 days to return our money! Absurd! This store is probably fine for shopping in person, but this was our one and only experience with it. read more

This is a huge, new Target that adds life to the corner of Coddingtown Mall. The building where it stands now was totally demolished and a brand new one put in its place. That is why the building fits the newer Target designs with wider aisles, modern bathrooms, and the typical in-store businesses (i.e. Starbucks...etc.). It's often not crowded which makes for a great place to shop at one's leisure. Like with any Target, some things are more in stock here and less with others. I come here for basics like toiletries, cleaning supplies, and pet treats. The staff here is very friendly and helpful. With as big as it is I'm bound to have a question here or there about where something is out although the layout is typical. Minus the holiday crowds, I can usually get in and out of here in less than 20 minutes if I'm shopping off a list. If the visit lasts longer it's because I was browsing. Great new find. read more
