No one offered to help me. And when I asked where certain things were the manager's name, who I think was Rudy was very, very rude to me with an attitude that I was bothering him. I also noticed that they weren't very busy and the pet food Express that I had been going to for 22 years in Novato was always busy on Sundays. I'm never going back there! What a bunch of jerks!!!

Unfortunately, the same cannot be used to describe the cleanliness of the store. The floors and fixtures are in desperate need of a deep clean. There are thick build-ups of grime and dirt on the floor tiles, heavy layers of dust, cobwebs, and debris gathered under the shelves, and clumps of loose pet hair drifting down the aisles. Even the bottom of the "JustFoodForDogs" freezer unit had noticeable grime running down the front vent. I want to support our local pet stores, but walking through such neglected aisles makes for an uncomfortable shopping experience. The front-end staff is doing great, but management really needs to step up the store's basic housekeeping and sanitation.

Wilco is a great alternative to Lowes and Home Depot. In my locality, Lowes has gone downhill in…read moreterms of merchandise and service, especially their garden dept. Sure, California may be experiencing drought, but if you have a garden section, guess what? You need to water your plants. Lowes has started skipping that step but wouldn't dream of knocking a penny off plants that are already in distress when purchased. Home Depot does a slightly better job, but only by a nose. Shopping at Home Depot is generally unpleasant because the stores are, well, warehouses. Wilco has a much smaller garden section, but they tend what they have. They also intermix some unusual or unique plants with common ones which gives the feeling of shopping in a small nursery. Finally, their prices are better than either Lowes or HD. In addition, Wilco is the place to get bird seed for your outdoor birders like me. Lowes has rats they can't control so they quit carrying seed. HD went to tubs, but they don't have the variety that Wilco has. My only issue with Wilco is its sale of live chicks. I get it. Its a farm store. I disapprove but I get it.

I drove over an hour to get to the store and got there about 20 minutes before closing. While in…read morethe store, I was given my 10 minute heads up for closing. When I needed to find something and a very nice young woman helped me as best she could, but then had to get the Manager. Patricia, Mgr., was visibly irritated that I was still looking for something--I had been waiting for her. She found what I wanted, but as I was looking at it, she stated, in a terse voice "we're closed now." I put the item down as I do understand they want to go home. I just felt like instead of standing there glaring at me she might've offered some additional assistance. Instead, I put the item down as I didn't have time to make sure it was the right size and I didn't have time to look for the other strap that I needed that was there on display, but I was not permitted to purchase what I needed. At this time, it was approximately 7:04. To General manager: Patricia needs customer service training--or she needs a different job that does not include interacting with customers. I spent over $400 between the blanket and a gift for someone. Both employees, NOT Patricia, were nice. They smiled and they were helpful. Upon my leaving, the first gal gave me a friendly smile and wished me a good night. When I had walked away from Patricia and I told her thank you, she did not reply. I did say it loud enough for her to hear. I should think that a customer dropping over $400 should be given at least common courtesy. I know if I were the general manager, I would want to know how my managers of each store were treating the customers. I really like the store and it is an hour away from me. I am tempted to come back, but this was quite an unpleasant experience.

They did it all from A to Z in under a week and for a bit less than $1500 after we added in some extras. Excellent redwood/wire construction, fantastic service/recommendations and install. Scott came out and measured, had the panels made at the shop, and then came back about a week later to install. Added a special mesh "door" to the bedroom screen window which is sturdy and lockable and you can easily close the entire window. The little door eliminates any insect issues in the house. The three cats love it. They've been out as late as midnight to observed the "locals;" ie. raccoons and skunks.

Steve said because they has so many, they are now selling the ducks for $.50 and chicks for $1.00. We ended up getting 4 (for no reasons - actually for their cuteness). We had a 5 hour drive home from Petaluma haha. It was all worth the ducks and chicks.
