I've been shopping for a new tv for weeks now. After receiving an email (rewards member) I noted the pre Black Friday sale started tonight. So I went in, found the tv I was looking for but no help was in sight (apparently all the electronic people called in today.. that gave me have me pause.. but then I considered that this is Portland .. home of the no work ethic having youth) I waited for someone to get called. I was impressed at the response time. It was less than 2 minutes and someone came to help. They brought the tv up front. And that is where they earned the 5 stars. Bethany was my cashier. Not only did she do everything she could to get me the best deal.. she also rolled that big boy outside and helped me move everything around in my vehicle to get it to fit. Amazing customer service. We need more people like Bethany in the world. Kudos Target.. you hired a keeper with that one. read more

Until today I wouldn't have put this Target on my top 10 list of places to shop. Today, however, I was a recipient of above and beyond customer service and will most likely be a customer for life because of it. One of the sales persons knew I was in a hurry to get to a baby shower and not only assisted me with a very large item but also volunteered to wrap it for me if I bought wrapping paper there. Hands down saved me a ton of time and I really appreciated her willingness to make my day a little easier. Meredith was the sales reps name and hands down one of the most helpful sales clerks at any department store I have ever been to. And for that I will be back!!! Thank you Meredith you made my day and I wasn't late with the present!!! read more

Typical Target. The workers are very friendly here, although the Target in Cascade Station is large/has a better selection.

Busy Target with lots of parking. Great wine and beer selection. The lines are not too long because of the amount of cashiers. They carry variety of goods that is needed for any household. read more

Yes, it's just a Target, but this one has an escalator and lets you put your cart on its own special elevator thing, too. And you get to shop at Target and even wander out into the rest of Jantzen Beach Mall if you feel like more shopping or a snack. read more

This is the closest Target to me, and it's on my way home from work, so I stop by a lot when I'm heading home. It's easy to access from the freeway. The parking is a little effed-up right now, with construction in the lot, but as soon as that gets taken care of, it'll be right back to being super convenient. read more

Nice clean store but being that it's the middle of winter they should have a bigger selection of woman's thermals and sweatpants!

Stopped by Starbucks before going shopping. Opened it to find 2 ants inside. Clean up your bar, Batista's!

TL;DR Pharmacy counter person DGAF! Watched us struggle finding meds she recommended, didn't help. Also, incorrect in her recommendation. Pharmacy customer service is terrible. My wife and I went into this target on Sunday afternoon to quickly grab some over the counter stomach medication because my wife is pregnant (and apparently that means your gastrointestinal system is thrown out of whack) our doctor gave us 2 suggestion of gentile over the counter meds to suit her needs and we couldn't find either on the shelf. So we thought we'd ask the pharmacy counter if they carried them and maybe just needed to restock as there were many empty slots on the shelf. We waited in line at the pharmacy register behind an older couple that had a lot of questions about their medications, they seemed to be receiving decent service, and we didn't mind waiting. About 5 minutes go by and the couple finishes up and it's our turn. My wife asks if they carry the two Doctor recommend meds and the woman behind the counter says that she's "never even heard of those" and stares blankly at my wife. My wife looks very distraught and looks to me for help. I ask if there is any over the counter medication that would help with my wife's problem that is okay to take while pregnant. She recommends a medication and points to the aisle that it's on. We spend the next 10-15min (not exaggerating) looking for her recommend medication in this tiny section for stomach meds. At one point I looked over to the pharmacy to see if she was too busy to help us and I saw her standing and watching us struggle. We give up on her recommendation and start looking for kid safe stuff and start reading ingredients on the bottle. Then we find out (by reading every active ingredient on every package) that the medication she recommended was the active ingredient in ONE of the dozens of medications on the shelf! Why wouldn't she just tell us the name brand instead of wasting our time? Why would you make us read every ingredient in 8pt font to find out what you were talking about? Did we go to pharmacy school to learn which active ingredients do what? NO! That's why we asked for help! It's one thing to be less than helpful, although it is something I've come to expect at target. As it turns out, after some googling at home, the active ingredient in that medication isn't good to take if you're expecting. So we called the doctor to confirm and yeah, pharmacy lady, you wasted our time by not telling us the name brand of the medication and then you were wrong about it all along anyway! read more

This store has the worst customer service i have ever experienced. Not only from the girl wHo rang me up but also from management. I will never shop here or any target again. They were the most ignorant people i have ever met at a store and i travel for a living. read more

Do NOT use Target's Store Pickup option unless you enjoy waiting in long lines behind people who have no idea what they're doing. Hey, Target! Perhaps consider a dedicated line to Store Pickup orders like all of your competitors have? Just a suggestion there, but I won't be doing this again so I guess it doesn't matter. Keep on losing our credit card data, too. That was swell. read more

Great weekly stop! Thank you Target for always having a clean store for me and children to shop! I always appreciate the service and kindness the staff has. Target way better than Walmart. End of story read more

I just bought 1000 notebooks for my high school students. The clerks were amazingly helpful and checking out went as quickly as possible. They even loaded it all into my car! read more

I wouldn't even give them a star, but I guess I have to. Their customer service is THE WORST THAT I HAVE EVER DELT WITH. I had a target card, and forgot to call them when I changed banks. You would THINK that they would grant you a mistake at least once when calling in about an unresolved debt... BUT NO!!!!!!!!! Every bank I know will do that... but that's the SCAM folks, don't buy into their card- it's not worth the money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Their fees were ridiculous and I actually DID pay it over the phone with their service center, but they continue to send me notices.. WOW. Suck a dick TARGET. read more

A bunch of us nerd collectors showed up prior to open on 8/1. There was a target exclusive item to be had, and we knew stock was going to be limited. Unfortunately, there was a bot-infested pre-order and then various Targets throughout the area had broken the street dates and were already selling these items, which led to a more confusing adjusted street date. Jessica, the wonderful Target Employee (hopefully manager) met us at the door, assessed the situation with a friendly professionalism and then assisted our amassed nerd-group beyond expectation. Most of us were strangers, but because of Jessica's exceptional customer service skills, we all left in good spirits and cracking jokes. She could not have made our visit any more successful. BTW Target, please keep a heavy stock of these Cobra Island exclusive G.I. Joes. They are amazing and I'm hoping that new generations will get to know the heroics of this toy line as I did growing up. read more

I have been shopping at Target for twenty plus years. This is by far the worst customer service I have ever experienced at any store. We were told over the phone by a manager to come in for an exchange on a recalled Graco seat. When we brought our seat in we were given a piece of paper and told to call the number for Graco customer service. (Keep in mind this is something we could have done from our own house had we been told this was "protocol." ) The lady who was "helping" us called another representative to come help us stating she needed to go on her lunch break. She walked away, leaving us there with no one to help. The replacement customer service agent walked away with her. We didn't know how to call out from their phone and sat there trying for a good five minutes with no one to ask. I will not be shopping at this Target ever again even though it is the closest one to my house. read more

it's a target, what do you expect? ...target, obviously! this one, however, has one of those fascinating shopping-cart-escalators - oooooh, aaaaaaah. read more

When we went to this Target it looked like it was going to be massive from the outside. The inside of the store seems to be along the same size and set up as most of the new Targets in the area. We were hoping for a full grocery like one that was seen down in Florida but it's just the partial grocery like what most Targets have now. (Not the mini-grocery like what they used to have) The new store has the usual Target fare, along with a grocery section featuring produce, fresh meats and baked goods. read more

This store in particular has people who are rude and disrespectful. Not to mention that they won't give you your money back without the card that was used to purchase it even after you explain to them it was a gift. read more

Needed to print a simple document in the area this morning, so I called in advance to ask if they had one I could use. They said yes and even said I could do it from my phone, which was super convenient. When I finally got there customer service rep said they had no printers for public use. They told me to try the "office depot" next door (It was Staples, I don't go there so idk if it was ever an office depot) and they weren't even open. I wish they had better-informed employees, because both cost me time, money and a lot of traveling to find another place to print a simple document. Needless to say I won't be visiting them again anytime soon. read more

Went here on my lunch break to pick up an online order. A portable ice machine was one of the items purchased online. The item brought to the counter by the associate was an unboxed, scratched up, ice machine with no box, instructions or power cord?! I asked if this was the floor model? Took awhile and another set of hands but they determined it was the floor model that someone put with my online order and no others were available. I expressed my dissatisfaction and the supervisor just ho hummed around (honestly he seemed like he was stoned or on something-absolutely no urgency or empathy), as the line behind me grew and people were getting agitated. Ultimately they refunded the price after wasting 30 minutes of my time. No apology, just associates that did not care. I am cancelling my redcard today and will never do business with Target again. The customer service ranks with Wal Mart, I will pass and give my business to Amazon. I hope that Amazon puts you out of business very soon Target! read more

Unfortunately, much of their merchandise is very cheaply made in China. I received several gifts for Christmas from their seasonal collection and didn't have a receipt. The items were not anything I needed and looked like they would fall apart in a minute. So I drove out to their store intending to look around and shop a bit after getting store credit. Despite the products having all their original packaging and being in perfect condition they refused to issue store credit for the last price the items were sold for. They actually admitted the products were such junk they had no retail value. Their return policy states 'most items returned for store credit without a receipt'. The 'most' word allows them to arbitrarily deny return for store credit on whatever they choose. Actually, I want to say a big 'THANK YOU' to target. Thank you for not letting me get store credit and admitting that you sell complete JUNK so I could realize I should never shop their again. My advice is buy quality products from a reputable store (not target) that has a fair return policy. read more
