I don't usually shop at Target, but since it was right next to the restaurant where we had lunch, we stopped in for a quick pickup. We only needed one item... and of course ended up leaving with much more. We grabbed baby clothes, men's clothes, Easter candy, and a few other things. The store is well organized and everything is easy to find. Prices are clearly marked, and the aisles are neat. Parking is plentiful, which made the stop even easier. Overall, it turned out to be a great day to shop. read more

Walked into this Target to find it very disorganized, clothing on the floor, shelves bare, pallets dropped in front of aisles prohibiting movement from aisle to aisle, products on the floor, kids running around crying and just a very untidy environment making for a frustrating shopping experience. This tend to be the way this particular store is but today was seemingly worse. For the value and cost of items its disturbing to have a Target looking in such a disarray as this one. There isnt any form of respect for the customers. And its a negative vibe coming in the door. If you want to search through piles or buy clothing from the floor then come to this location. Not a very good experience here today. I thought I could make a quick trip to get a couple of things while I was in the area waiting for my dad to come out of physical therapy. The store wasn't crowded at all. I found my items and went to the registers. Unfortunately half of the self check out registers were down and they only had one regular register with an attendant. Of course I needed assistance because one of my items wouldn't scan properly. Took a while before someone was able to help me. Over all store was average, it was clean, everything appeared to be in stock. Prices are a bit higher but it was more convenient for me to stop here today. I went to self checkout since your checkout lines were too busy with lack of cashier's. I'm waiting, waiting, waiting for a target employee to come take care of the license scan. No one looked, no one cared and the people behind me in line waiting for me to checkout were getting pissed. I was getting pissed to because this is something that should take 2 seconds and instead I waited almost 10 minutes for someone to appear and take care of it. You guys suck and need to do better. I love this target! There was a women outside who lost her keys and a gentleman who worked there stayed with her and we helped her find her keys- he was so nice and patient. The store is clean- I usually use self checkout and I don't have too much of a line most of the time. I go there for small kitchen appliances at a good price and toiletries as well as household items and always find what i need. It's never too crowded and always have full shelves. read more

I've been using the drive-up option since COVID, so I haven't been inside the store in a few years. The drive-up has been mostly positive. After alerting them in the app that I'm on my way, and letting them know which parking space I'm in, the wait has usually been less than 10 minutes, mostly about 5 minutes. A couple of times, it was longer (15-20 minutes, due to 'busy at this time' of the store, according to the app. Once, I waited about 30 minutes, and had to ask one of the drive-up associates to check on my order. He brought it right out after that, don't know what happened. One problem can be finding parking in the drive-up area because in-store shoppers use the parking area because it's closest to the store. I can imagine that it's not feasible to monitor the area to keep it clear for drive-up customers only. Overall, I love the convenience of the drive-up service. read more

I have primarily used this Target when I'm doing a drive up order. I have had no problem with drive up. Generally my purchase is bought to my car within 5 mins of me checking in. When they are out of an item I get a email prior to pick up letting me know. It's good idea if you have a back up item to put that in before check out. Often items that were available when I checked out mysteriously are out of stock after I've placed the order. Make sure you check your email or Target app before coming so your not depending on that missing item and can get it elsewhere before you go home. read more

This is the worse target I've ever been in. It's the closest to my house, but l prefer to go to owings mills or Glen burnie. I needed to get there quickly because I needed something for tomorrow. There's always clothes or other items on the floor. Clothes not folded. The shelves are bare. There's lined up of cart with items that need to be returned. The self-checkout is card only with 10 items or less (totally new from other targets). There's boxes that need stocking lined in the aisles. The workers appear to be irritated that they're actually at work. That's the issue with target. The customers are loud, rude, no tact (drinking cans of sodas and putting them back if they don't like them). Aggressive driving in the parking lot. Just a very anxiety- producing experience every time (only came about 4) compared to Elliott city, Glen burnie, and owings mills. This particular one is giving route 40 or Liberty rd Walmart. Shopped here many times and each time the quality and cleanliness diminishes. Shelves are all discombobulated and not arranged properly. The manager of this store obviously does not pay attention to the look of the store OR they have the wrong employees. If you can get past the filthy parking lot (the fault of the low life customers that are too lazy to throw their trash away vs toss on the street and the lack of attention of the staff) and the dirty isles, then this store is for you. We have nixed this location as another Target a few miles up the street is the opposite of this location. In the days of Covid and cleanliness, this particular store gets a solid "F" for operation. read more

Who can say anything bad about target? Not I. That's my second home. You can find me in there, every week, in the clearance section. Pretty much whatever didn't sell the season before gets marked down. 30%, 50%, 70%, 90% off oh my. This location is super busy but it's also super large so more inventory, more to shop, more of what you don't need. But you should get it anyway. read more

Sadly, STEER CLEAR of the CVS Pharmacy in this Target/Pikesville store. My doctor's office faxed my prescription 3 times and the store was still unable to fill my prescription. The first time I went in Tuesday morning after the prescription had been sent Monday. No one told me that they didn't have a record of the prescription. There were 2 prescriptions on my doctor's fax, but only one was logged in. I finally returned on Wednesday to attempt again to get my prescription. At one point the technician claimed she could not read a critical word on the fax. This was the THIRD copy of the prescription that my doctor's office sent. The CVS technician wanted my doctor's office to call the pharmacist but she wasn't certain of the phone number. I finally went back to my doctor's office, told them what had happened and got a new prescription which I took elsewhere. The new pharmacy was able to tell me that CVS had now filled my prescription. But I got my prescription from the new pharmacy. This seemed like deliberate nonservice on the part of the CVS technician. Although she was wearing an inspiring black t-shirt about God her ability to complete what should have been a normal transaction was non-existent. I felt that I was deliberately mistreated by this CVS Pharmacy. 7/19/23 When I tried contacting Target Guest Services to speak to the store manager, no one answered the phone. read more

Target itself was not the problem it was the pharmacy CVS located within target. On 10/6/20 I went to pick up medication, I am 7 months pregnant keep in mind. I recieved text messages that my medication was done which it was, but I have two insurances so when I go to pick it up they run it only through one insurance, I advise the staff I have two insurances they were persistent that they ran it through both which I knew they didn't because the other insurances catches the balance of what the first doesn't cover. I paid but I asked to speak to the manager of the pharmacy on the side, they told me to wait. I stood and waited an hour and 30'minutes. I called my insurance and they confirmed all medications I paid for were covered as $0 and was supposed to be be free. My insurance put me on hold and called CVS PHARMACY, keep in mind I'm sitting looking at the manager and staff. My insurance provider called 3 times, twice they hung up on him. The third time the manager quickly rushed him and didn't allow him to talk to give her the information she needed. I sat here and watched this, my insurance person came back on the phone and said they tried talking to a manager but she was completely rude, didn't handle there request, so they would be calling trying to see if my doctor can call in. In between being on the phone with my insurance, I see the manager walk over to a staff member and hear her say 'why is she standing there for (talking about me) and that she is not talking to me so she doesn't know why I'm standing there. The pharmacy manager NEVER came over to talk to me, after an hour and thirty minutes of standing I ended up leaving and just calling the target helpline to report the manager and staff. I still have no resolution, the pharmacy still never ran my other insurance and I'm pretty sure I won't get my 70 dollars back for medication I needed but should not have paid for cause that's what insurance is for. THIS WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE FROM A PHARMACY EVER. I will be moving my medications. Anyone reading this just know the supervising pharmacist I am referring to is very unprofessional and the staff just goes off of what she says so they don't no any better themselves. read more

Genuinely the worst target i have stepped foot into. The workers could not even tell me where the women's leggings would be, they barely even answered me and all. The lady doing returns was chatting with her coworkers until I came up to return something, and then she quickly went to the back. Every single display was pure chaos, nothing on the shelves, and I mean everywhere, from women's to office supplies. Nothing has been organized for literally like a year. My sister visited the store on a Thursday evening (time of posting) and was completing a Shipt order. While grabbing some produce she left her cart slightly unattended for about 20 seconds when a man took the cart thinking it was empty. It had her CAR KEYS in it. She went to lost prevention/customer service and the team got right on it. The cameras were checked on the inside and outside, a camera pointed at her car made her feel a little better and they had eyes around the store. One of the target employees that was looking in customers carts found her keys and saved the day. Thank you to the helpful staff! read more

This is one of the worst Targets I've ever been to. The store looks like it was ransacked and there's always a line at checkout.

My main thing I look for in a retail store is the willingness of employees who want to assist you. Usually target is a step above walmart and they typically have better customer service. However, this target location lacked amount of employees. No one to be found.... Anywhere. Electronics, empty. Clothing, empty. Store is pretty clean and well stocked. But it's Monday so that's hard to judge. They had plenty of registers open. Checkout was quick. Parking lot had too many carts thrown in Radom areas. Again, no employee. This location needs to train hire employees and have them learn how to ask people if they need help. read more

We went to this store twice two days ago (we'd forgotten to get the second item and we returned late in the evening). The first visit entailed buying a nice retro-looking small radio for my mother and the price was very reasonable. Also, the cashier was a very friendly and patient young guy (we had to retrieve a gift certificate from the app and it took awhile). The store is open until midnight on Saturdays and we took advantage of their late hours to return, at which time we bought another small item for my mother and the cashier was also a pleasant young guy. (Update on 4/19/16): We went there two days ago and all of the employees were *terrific*; a young woman (Latonya) was very sweet-natured & helpful, a young man (Cory) was very helpful, another young woman (Kenya) was very helpful and the cashier was very pleasant. Also, we're continually impressed with the terrific selection of items at this store. read more

I like this Target but I will say it can be hit or miss. Late night runs are my favorite at this location. It normally IS well stocked and quiet during these runs. Wow! Today's experience was like a time-machine journey to the Soviet Union, the country of my childhood. I just got my stuff, returned some of the merchandise to the guest desk ... was going to leave and realized I can't find my keys .... I was standing at the door, helplessly searching through my pockets ... when the guy in Target uniform asked if I have the receipt for the merchandise. - No, I lost it. - Then you have a problem. - Do you realize how little it is? I showed him what I got - school binder and the dish sponges, around $10.00 worth altogether. - No matter. - He was definitely in a philosophical mood. Stealing is stealing ... The cashier confirmed I paid. I called the manager and explained that I've been just called a thief for no reason. I didn't know I should hang on to the receipt. (And people who do still usually leave the store immediately instead of wandering around and checking their own pockets again and again). - It's just his job. - She protected him. No apology. Anyway, I'm extremely grateful to them - up to this day, I'd been attracted to Target by better store design, skillful advertisement, good customer service, etc. Luckily, this has ended. From now on, I'll split my shopping needs between Costco, Walmart, T.J. Max, etc. - better prices. Some of these stores do check the receipts - and I've lost the receipt on many occasions in Costco - they've always been polite, professional and patient. Just about your average Target store. Has all of the things that you expect to find - housewares, groceries, clothing. It looks neat and it's clean enough. Used the restroom and it was clean. Prices are what one would expect. Cashier at the checkout was friendly and chatty. Two weird things that I noticed: 1. I am looking for living room table lamps. They had a lamp base that I liked from one of their designer collections (Nate Berkus). There was a big photo of a room decorated with things in the collection, including the lamp. But they didn't stock the lampshade that was shown in the big fancy advertising photo. And none of the shades that they had were the right size and shape, like the one in the photo. What are you supposed to do with the $50 lamp bases without any lampshades to fit them? 2. Looked for my favorite flavor of Market Pantry ice cream. At first glance, didn't see the flavor I was looking for. Then looked closer and saw that there was no order to the way that the flavors were stocked on the cooler shelves. If I moved a container of ice cream, there was a different flavor behind it, and another flavor behind that. I still have no idea if they had the flavor that I wanted. I gave up looking after a while and bought one of the others. Summary: Average Target store. Looks neat and organized on the surface, but not so much when you actually try to find something specific. read more

Despite this store almost never having anything in stock, there seem to be too many customers aimlessly wandering around in the middle of everything all the time. What little inventory is on the shelves is completely disorganized. If you can find what you're looking for (I always have to go on the website while in the store in order to find the aisle in which said item is supposed to reside), the shelves look like a jumble of random mixed-up items, so good luck finding the price until you're at the checkout. I don't think I've ever been to this store and found what I needed. And...there never seem to be cashiers. It's like a post-apocalyptic scene from a 90's local news segment of the aftermath of a Black Friday Sale, with fewer bodies on the floor. Do people actually work here? How does this exist? Has it actually just been deserted for years, relying solely on the good conscience of customers to use the self-checkout, rather than just walking out the door with cartloads of whatever happens to be left? AWFUL EXPERIENCE!!!! I had my wallet stolen a few weeks ago and the thief got away with spending over $3000 on gift cards and such at this store without a hitch! To make matters even worse, the head of security was the one who approved the transactions - despite telling me after that he thought the purchases were "suspicious". How does someone go in with a stack of someone else's debit/credit cards and spend over $3000, using a total of 4 of my cards since two were declined. This was absolutely unbelievable. I even contacted Target headquarters and filed a complaint only to have them tell me there was nothing they could do and to move on. I am appalled at this experience and will not return to any Target store again! read more

This location is further up from me. It is similar but for some reason the produce and freezer areas were more stocked than the one here in Pikesville, closer to me. Clearance areas were well stocked, too. It was a quick stop and decided to get some Larabars because I was in need of a snack. I didn't check the expiration date and they had expired back in November, so bah humbug! Check your dates, please. Self serve check out is not available at this store. Checkout was quick and the cashier was kind if enough to cancel my transaction so that I could scan my Cartwheel barcode. Cheers for that!
